"About 5 to 10 minutes walk for Hualien train station. The front desk (Jack, Nick when I checked in and a lady when I checked out) is very friendly. They will try to answer any questions your may have regarding Hualien/Taiwan. Simple clean and comfy room. I like the sitting area where you can chill after a tiring day out. However, please take note the check in time is 3pm. I was there at 2:30pm and there were no person to attend to me. I could not even enter the premise. Perhaps that is something the management can look into. Even we cannot go into the room, at least there is a reception to allow us to leave our luggages etc."

"I live in Taiwan, a friend and I just wanted to get away for a weekend. I'm so glad we chose this B&B. What a retreat. It was very modern, big rooms, halls and bathrooms, and definitely the cleanest place I've ever stayed in Taiwan. There's a lovely deck on the roof with an unobstructed view of the ocean, plus lawn chairs, umbrellas and tables. My Chinese is very poor, but the lady running the B&B was cheerful and didn't mind repeating things for me so I could understand. The rooms are a little expensive, but I got my money's worth in ambiance and service. I've been to Hualien several times, already roamed the night markets, seen Taroko. I wanted a hotel nice enough that I could just put my feet up and stay. That's exactly what this is. I will absolutely be back. "

"We booked a family room for a group of 4, a large clean room with excellent view. The building was beautifully decorated throughout, filled with warmth like home. Home made tasty breakfasts with great presentation, made with local produce. Afternoon tea was beautifully setup like hi tea. Exceptional service by Jerry (owner), always so friendly, thoughtful and ready to help. Jerry also arranged the local tour for us. Location is about 15 mins from the city, in and out needed a taxi but Jerry would be happy to arrange it for us anytime we needed one, even walked us out to the taxi every time. Overall it was an exceptional experience. We are looking forward to revisit HUALIEN and will definitely be staying at Green Home Beauty again. "
