"We had 3 days half board here and could not fault anything. The hotel is on the beach which is accessed via a board walk over the dunes. The beach is extensive and unspoilt by development, and walks or bike rides or interesting drives are on the doorstep. It is approximately 120 kms fro Faro airport and from exit 99 of the motorway the hotel is about a further 25 kms and very easy to find. You pass through pine forests and small towns and as a trip option can easily access the Donana national park via Huelva, In the hotel our room was spacious, beds were very comfy and the WIFI good throughout. The food was great with a good variety of well prepared choices. Prices for coffees, alcoholic drinks and wine in the hotel and surrounding area were very good. We played golf twice in the area at Nuevo Portil and Monacilla. These were booked by the hotel and we got a good deal at 71 euros and 90 euros respectively as a total for 2 green fees and a buggy. Both courses were interesting and challenging and in good condition. We later moved to the Algarve for 3 days and by comparison the prices there were extortionate for golf and food and drink! I think those in the know keep this part of Spain to themselves. Beautiful coastline and beaches, great prices and brilliant weather. We will certainly be back here for an off season golf break"
