Hyderabad is a city in the full sense of the word , as are Kolkata , Bombay and Delhi ; well laid-out , large avenues , sectors of well-defined different natures , and an airport of internationl level : a city where it is agreable to move through , even if trafic can be a bit dense sometimes .
I had heard a lot about Hyderabad and the Kwaja Habib Ali Dargah. so glad we finally got to go. the food in the area was a rollercoster of adventure and discovery with so many different flavours! People were very friendly and it seems like a safe city
Hyderabad’s architecture is primarily known for its heritage buildings constructed during Qutb shahi and Nizam rule, and showcasing the Indo-Islamic architecture with influence of Medieval, Mughal and European styles.
Hyderabad seemed to be a much nicer city than Chennai which i visited prior to flying here. It's really booming due to the hi-tech industry and new buildings are going up everywhere.
The highway from the airport is pleasant and it takes about 40 minutes to the hotel. Even when I was taken on an hour long tuk tuk ride that should have taken 10 minutes but took me all over Hyderabad, I didn't see the pollution and garbage like in Chennai. A visit to the tombs of the 7 kings and to Golkonda Fort is worth it.
Its a historical city, one must take your children to see Salar Jung museum, Charminar, Birla Mandir, Ramoji Film City, Snow World, Hussain Sagar lake and car museum.
Not to forget have a great hyderabadi Biryani at BAWARCHI. Ladies garmenents are cheap and worth shopping.
Hyderabad is really a very good place for everyone. Everyone can feel their culture in this area.Specially for honeymoon and excursions, this is a must place to see.
A very neat and clean city. Very well connected with various means of transport. Lots of tourist attractions like Hussain Sagar lake, lots of Parks, palace, Malls.
Hyderabad is famous for its Biryani, South Indian food.
Combination of old and new generation. City does have friendly people and places to visit Charminar, Golconda fort, SalarJung Muesum, Zoo, Birla Mandir and Lake
Hydrabad is a very good city,I have visited first time Airport is very good and the shopping arcade is very big I have never seen in domestic airport In India.
Roads are very good. Hotels are very good, peoples are good and soft spoken.Dum biryani is excellent.Jyotirling Mallikaarjun is very good. You will enjoy your trip to Ramoji film city and expirence of night hault in Ramoji city is incredible.
I returned to Hyderabad after 12 years, but found that nothing much has changed in the city. The traffic is chaotic and traffic sense is very very poor.
But still the attractions such as the Salarjung Museum, Golconda Fort, Ramoji Filmcity and Nehru Zoological Park are good to visit. The NTR Park and Lumbini Gardens are in a rundown condition and not worth a visit.
It's a very nice metropolitan city with rich cultural heritage. Hyderabad is famous for it's Biryani and Non-veg delicacies along with Pearl ornaments.
A city with a long and varied history and great culture, the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secundarabad are unique amongst the cities of South India.
It has everything - historical places and monuments, museums with an outstanding collection of artwork and artifacts, natural places and parks, lakes and water bodies, and entertainment parks such as Ramoji film City. A great place for business conferences and for family outing. Added attractions are the typical Hyderabadi cuisine and the shopping for famous Hyderabadi pearls jewellery.
The city has various interesting highlights. Most of them can be seen in a one day tour, which can be booked at the tourist information office.
The Nehru Zoo was not so special. At Sundays there are English services followed by coffee in the C3 white fields church. A nice opportunity to meet friendly young local people with different backgrounds.
The tourism in this area need to be improved it is not at all ready to take a flowing crowd of tourists and please don't visit Paradise hotel .
It is not worth the hipe they make around the hotel .
Be prepared to meet very poor roads in and around Hyderabad, driving or moving on the streets is a HASSLE no doubt, but must be experienced.
The famous Salar Jung museum should not be missed, besides the famous Hyderabadi Biryani, and of course the Charminar and its surroundings.
Do not rent a car. If you are American you will not be able to drive in Hyderabad. but the taxi drivers are well versed and inexpensive.
Usually best to take a service from the hotel (more trustworthy). The people were very nice to me. VEry friendly. If you see a beggar and want to give make sure he'she is alone or you will be surrounded in seconds. Otherwise, shopping, food, culture. I fell in love with India
Hussainsagar Lake, NTR Gardens, KBR Park, Salarjung Museum, Charminar and Golkonda fort are some of the attractions of Hyderabad.
If you are visiting Hyderabad for the first time, don't miss eating the 'Biryani' here. Paradise is the popular chain of restaurants, known for it's Biryanis. Biscuits from the Karachi Bakery are also quite popular with the locals.
Place of Nizams and rich traditional mix culture (Telangana, Rayalaseema & Costal Andhra) - 3 different cultures made Hyderabad.
one must eat Hyderabad Dum Biriyani
The Charminar, Chowmahalla Palace and Golconda Fort are world class tourist attractions and deserve at least a few hours each.
A vastly improved city compared what I saw 20 years. compared to Indian standard there are good malls and entertainment zone.
there are historical places to see. person who want to explore nearby areas also can consider visiting city. Secundrabad roads are good. there is a good improvement to Road infrastructure. it is worth visiting from travelers perspective.
The people here predominantly speak Hindi and Telugu. Though English is widely used, it's not one you can only survive with.
The city is quite hot, and the roads are generally bad, riddled with potholes. The drivers here seem to be in a constant state of hurry and therefore have little regard for lane discipline.
Poeple here very nice and helpful, willing to help when we ask something from them, although not all able to speak English.
... Friendly city
There are a few historical sights to see in Hyderabad. One of them is the Lumbhini park where they have a Laser show at 7.
15pm. The history of the city is told in this laser show. It was very nice indeed.
Hyderabad is a nice place, lot to see, seen CHAR MINAR, AREA, BIRLA MANDIR, DID SHOPPING, HAD YUMMY FOOD IN Restaurants.
that's it couldn't do much in one day stay.
Hyderabad is a very good city for business people, there are lot of opportunities for IT sector and business people.
Its a rich city and very nice food we can taste here. over all we can say that for business purpose its a good place.
Still being located in south city has a cosmopolitan environment, people are friendly & life is smooth & care free.
Public Transport is easy & offer a platter for all.For people who love npn-veg food this place is a heaven.
Great city with good history. Has been let to run down but efforts being made to clean up and improve facilities.
New areas match any modern in world, old city areas overflow with tradition and culture. People are friendly, their great asset.
It is one of the dynamic city of India and worth spending quality time in shopping, sight seeing and night life.
