"My night away with friends at Sunni Garden Lake was nice. However, there was a lot of waiting involved. We arrived right at check-in time, but had to wait at least an hour for our three rooms to be ready because of some late checkouts. The hotel gave us one free upgrade because there weren't enough of the rooms we had reserved available. Dinner at the hotel restaurant required long waits, as well. My friend waited as her massage appointment was half an hour later than scheduled. We waited twenty minutes or so to finalize our checkout. To become a high-class hotel, efficiency really needs to be improved. We did enjoy our food at the hotel restaurant. The pool is spacious and surrounded by lovely landscaping. The rooms are comfortable with nice showers."

"Staff was superb and went above and beyond for us, including allowing us free long-distance phone calls. Hotel itself is brand new and rooms reflect this. A clean, business-class hotel in Jayapura, which is much needed. WiFi only downstairs in lobby, not in room. TV does have a few English channels, although mostly news. Location is good and safe. Much recommended!"

"I love the people at this hotel, the beautiful setting, and the peaceful, seafront vibe. I stayed here when it was the Hotel Irian and they've done a good job with the upgrades - lovely pool, nice terraces, nice meeting room - without losing the character of this place, which was built by KLM back when Papua was a Dutch colony. The airport noises - including the siren meant to get goats off the runway - are kind of cute. Best place in Biak to stay."

"The female FO staff needs more smile and instead of saying "I don't know" she could say "let me check", the HK staff gave me 1 more toilet tissue when I asked but took it from my room the next day, was waiting for lunch too long time when only 2 tables at the rooftop, none came and offered the menu until we asked them to at rooftop, when we turned on the water at the bathroom there was noise at the room..these are my feedback for you to be better since I will come again, thank you "
