First Agoda screwed me up by charging wrong; the hotel says the Tax is not included but the Agoda said the price is all inclusive!!! Waited almost 45 minutes at counter. The Agoda Saudi Customer Service Number kept me on hold for whole life and I had to disconnect the call with out talking to any agent & not resolving my issue. At the Hotel, the front desk staff Mr. F...

It's one of the well-known hotels in Jeddah, you cant go wrong with the location and the view. I just noticed the cleanliness of the room and the facilities has decreased since last time I visited in 2015. Nevertheless, it's still one of the best hotels in Jeddah, highly recommended.

Sofitel has a great location and a superior facility including a mid level open air swimming pool and adjacent spa / gym for guests. Unfortunately, the pool is in shadow most of the day, but the cool waters and shade are a relaxing and welcome change from the normally hot and humid conditions of Jeddah. The room is well laid out, but the carpets are stained and could u...

In terms of value for money, I think this is a very good hotel by Jeddah standards. The room was very well laid out and presented. It had an extremely comfortable bed and very nice facilities. The bathroom lay out was also excellent. My only one small comment was that I was not able to get any hot water out of the shower; not really a problem in the summer time in ...

Pros More parking space Big room complete with all ameneties Cons Sound proofing is not good.. You can hear the sound from outside the door or and nearby room Leaking water in the bidet/hand spray I stayed for 3 nights but my room was not cleaned or made up at least once. This was my first stay and I look forward to come back again when I am in Jeddah. Location is very good specially the fountain view in the evening. I suggest that there should be sign board with the name of the hotel that could be seen from the main road. My stay was very comfortable and the staff were very friendly.

Facilities is good and new! Rooms are big comfortable specially the beddings. Luckily employees who accommodated me are nice and honest. Elevators anyway are difficult to use, specially from the basement to my floor level. Facilities need some resto or cafe. Above all the place is GOOD and affordable.

It's my favourite hotel in Jeddah, good place, friendly staff, small swming pool for kids ( although wasn't clean this time for some technical problems ), small gym , clean and spacious rooms Unfortunately Alkhaima restaurant was ( closed this time (for maintainance Special thanks to Mr Abdulrahaman in the reception he made our check in in less than 2 minutes

Perfect for bonding, I love the place and the hotel is clean and enough room to accommodate 12-15 person. With complete facilities and kitchen utensils.. but they don't provide towels and extra tissues at toilet. But above all it's a nice place to spend time with families and friends. 😊

The room is spacious and clean enough. The internal design is very cozy and comfortable to stay. The breakfast provides variety of choices which are fresh and taste kind of good. The breakfast shall start earlier for business person to enjoy their meal. 7am is a little too late. Corn : During the check-in, the staff couldn't find the booking reference from Agoda. Seems...

I was very happy with my stay the hotel was a beautiful hotel, quiet and there by all the required services is great because it is overlooking the red Sea . A hotel near the market and the city games and the beach . I liked the credibility of the hotel booking via the Internet and this is what helped me a lot in your choice.

The overall stay was very comfortable. This hotel is a new property inaugurated just a month ago. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Value for money. The check-in took a long time as the rooms were not prepared when we checked in the hotel. We had to wait for around 1.5 hours to get our rooms. We actually went in around 13:30 while the check-in time is 16:00. ...

Everything is fabulous, the staff is so friendly, the room is very clean, moreover their fast services, and I like even their security system which reflect how value their customer is, when I order a meal from out side they don't allow them to come to my room, they pick the meal themselves and bring it to me. But there is only one thing if they did they would be perfec...

I have stayed many times in this hotel, location is very good, rooms and beds are always clean, staff are nice and friendly, breakfast is decent not a big variety of selection but it's good enough, always plenty of parking onsite which makes big difference, it's value for money. They do not have a system that is connected with Agoda or Booking. So you run the risk of not finding a place even if your booing is confirmed. we stayed here for 3d 2n. when we were at the airport to depart to Singapore, we realised my husband left his backpack and in it we had passports and money. the horror! called the reception at Dyar and Hamzah picked up. he helped arrange for a driver to send the backpack to the airport. everything was fine then. nothing missing. during our stay, we had the chance to ch...

I stayed only 1 in Jeddah.. I was on my way back to Kuala Lumpur after performing Umrah. Though it was a short stay, a friend who worked in Jeddah brought us around Jeddah. We did some night shopping. All in all my short visit to Jeddah was a good one and the apartment that I rented was also good. I planed to visit Jeddah and hopefully for a longer period.

Facilities is good and new! Rooms are big comfortable specially the beddings. Luckily employees who accommodated me are nice and honest. this apartment hotel is excellent for the Business Traveler who has interests or work at the Hilton Hotel exhibition center. Word of caution, please use UBER for Taxi as otherwise, most Cabs don't really use the Taxi Meters and they charge you really high taxi fares. Taxi fare for me from airport was SR 200 in a normal un-metered taxi, while the return trip was SR ...

Everything was good but I want to notice you about bed because I called when I reserved to make the beds 2 single beds and I called again before I arrived Jeddah. When I arrived it was 1 king bed and they provide me with extra bed But it was in comfortable .. Other ways everything was good .

We were in Jeddah for slightly under 24 hours. It is quite deep in the city center and negotiating with the city traffic at the rush hour took me quite long. The Jeddah traffic regulations blocks direct access to the hotel but the hotel has developed a substitute access from the back which is a good substitute access. On arrival we were greeted by a very pleasant bell ...

They only speak Arabic, but well, you are heading to KSA, right? Room could be cleaned without asking for it. I stayed there twice (together 8 nights) and the room was only cleaned once. My first night was restful - arriving from Dammam close to midnight. My second night exposed me to the weakness of the Hotel - Noise of Traffic. I always stay at Alfaf in jeddah. even though it is not 4 stars, but the staff are so nice and friendly and always make an exception for late checkout and go out of their way to help you. Essential Travel Tips for Your Jeddah Adventure
Traveling to Jeddah can be an exciting adventure, but being prepared with some essential tips can make your journey even smoother. First and foremost, understanding local customs and cultural norms is crucial. Saudi Arabia is a conservative country, and it’s important to dress modestly, especially in public spaces and religious sites. Women are advised to wear an abaya, which is a loose-fitting black cloak, while men should opt for long trousers and shirts with sleeves. Respecting local traditions and practices will enhance your experience and foster goodwill with the locals.
Another important aspect of your trip is to familiarize yourself with the local etiquette. Greetings are often warm and friendly, with a handshake being common among men. Women may not shake hands with men unless the man extends his hand first. Additionally, it’s polite to use your right hand for giving and receiving items, as the left hand is considered unclean in local customs. Being aware of these social norms will help you navigate interactions with ease.
Safety is also a priority when traveling in Jeddah. The city is generally safe for tourists, but it’s always wise to stay vigilant and take common-sense precautions. Keep your belongings secure and be mindful of your surroundings, especially in crowded areas. Public transportation is available, but taxis are a popular and convenient option for getting around. Ride-hailing apps are also widely used, making it easy to explore the city without the hassle of navigating public transit. With these tips in mind, you’re well on your way to enjoying an unforgettable adventure in Jeddah.
