"after reading some of the negative reviews on this place i was a little worried, and hence just stayed one night. wish we had stayed longer! there's so much to do in this area and we will return and use the felda residence as our base. i think the negative reviews come from unrealistic expectations. this is essentially a 'resort' for regular malaysian locals. lots of companies and schools run programs out of here. so, no, it's not a 'western style' resort. yes, we had to walk a ways to our bungalow/cabin, but it was in a nice area. the staff were very friendly and helpful, and don't get too many western guests. the food was not great, but you can get noodles and snacks in the little store near the gas station. rustic charm, i guess you'd call it."

"It was a pleasant stay, just that the reception is not always there, you need to call her if you need anything. The shower head is broken, need to fix and please bring your own toiletries, don't expect there will be shampoo or bar soap. Overall, a great stay. Located 2 minutes away from small town and 10 minutes away from Uitm Jengka. "
