"I travel a lot for work and I stayed in a single room. It is a bit outdated but cleanish with basics you need. The lounge was nice. Looks like it was converted from a house with apartments into hotel rooms. It was ok for 1 night but will not stay here again. "

"B&B Hotel Kaiserslautern is a good value for the casual traveler. We're touring Europe for six weeks by motorcycle, and the cost of lodging can add up quickly. This was our first stay in a B&B Hotel (a chain with numerous locations throughout Germany) and we're adding B&B Hotel to our favorites list. Good value for the cost, free parking, free WiFi, clean facilities, air conditioning in the room, 25-hour access and self-check in available. Breakfast was an additional $8 Euro/person, but well worth the cost, excellent coffee and fresh fruit!"

"I stayed at Bauer Schmidt in the middle of July after a long day in Paris. I checked in late in the evening and found myself in a neat restaurant and bar. The person at the bar kindly dealt with my lack of any German ability and offered me a free beverage and continued to wait on other customers. At first I was a bit confused as to how I would get access to the room and take a much needed rest, but I enjoyed a cold beer and the nice surroundings in the bar area. Once I was shown to my room, it was basic as to be expected in Germany. Comfortable bed, good sized room, a standing fan, and no A/C. I felt at home quickly and was able to get a solid rest. I stayed on the premises for two nights and enjoyed the stay. I recommend this location to anyone looking for something different, away from the larger villages, and have access to a car to get to a from your other activities. Parking is free. I did not eat at the restaurant as I had a previous planned itinerary’s, but it seemed to be of good quality and matches the friendly and laid back atmosphere of the owners."
