Located within the Kinta Valley in Malaysia’s Kampar District, Kampar is a relatively small city with a long history dating back to the tin mining days of the nineteenth century. The city is accessible by train, although the station is located outside the limits of town, or by bus from many of the surrounding major cities and towns arriving at Kampar Bus Terminal, which is located in the center of town and is surrounded by several hotels.

One of the most popular destinations for visitors to Kampar is of course the Kampar River, which is especially frequented by extreme sports enthusiasts who seek out the adventure of the Kampar Waterfall.
