Where to stay in Kansas City (MO)
Kansas City (MO) hotels & accommodations

Hotel room was clean and room was comfortable. Very well worth the money spent. They offered a shuttle bus to and from the game. Coming back is a longer wait than it is to go to the stadium. But after a Colts win we decided to take a victory walk! But honestly the walk was not even bad. We only stayed one night and didn't hang out at the hotel much but the staff we ran...

The location for the motel was fantastic, and they offer drop off and pick up to Country Club plaza. It was a straight shot to the shopping areas on the Kansas side and an easy drive to Arrowhead Stadium. The front desk staff (same guy all weekend) was very friendly and helpful. One small issue. It took long time for hot water to travel to the third floor, beyond that...

Phillips KC has wonderful decor with much attention to detail. Staff were very welcoming and helpful with any requests. Great shuttle service around town. Very clean and comfortable bed. Water in the room would have been welcome and the vending machine needs to be filled. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it for your KC stay.

This hotel was a little too fancy for what I was looking for, they didn't have vending machines but they did have very expensive bottles of soda at the "bar". They dont serve free breakfast unless you are a member that has paid full price for a room. The room I had on the 6th floor had the spot light from outside shining directly into our window. Other than that the ro...

Recently, I traveled to Kansas City, MO to pick up a dog for adoption. Having been to Kansas City before, I knew the area (Westport) I wanted to stay but also knew it would be a challenge to get a quality hotel I liked in Westport at an affordable rate. I found one in 816 Hotel (part of the Area Code hotel group). Almost all of the rooms are themed around Kansas Cit...

The staff members are pleasant and responsive to issues. The bed was comfortable, and there was a good variety of channels for watching TV. We did not use the pool, but it looked good - it's right next to and open to the check-in desk. The food on the breakfast bar was ok, but not kept hot enough. The shampoo/conditioner was barely adequate. If you're staying multiple ...

Comfort Inn Hotel is really good hotel. Service is very helpfull and room very big and comfortable. Big TV, nice bed, very clean bathroom...honestly there was everything what I needed. Breakfast also was very good BUT without tea unfortunatly (but there were coffe, juice, milk etc.). Everything fresh and taste good. There is also small swimingpool ;) Location is not ...

We stayed here because of a concert at Sprint Center. The location was excellent! Less than 10 minutes by Lyft. It is also just a walking distance to Denny's, Arby's, Subway and a gas station. This is now our family's go - to place when we need to stay in Kansas City.

It was nice looking cozy and very clean. The bedroom was amazing for the place. It exceeded my expectations. Even though we didn't use the tv much, it was great to know the kind of channels that got. The hotel was bigger compared to the photos. The only thing was breakfast ended at 9.

After a week of single night stays our two nights here in KC were a great place to rest up for the weekend and recover. Clean, comfortable, great staff and handy to go most places on our list. Our room was more like a suite with full couch and chair as well,as desk . I would definately return.

Pros: The lobby, breakfast area and room were nice. The breakfast had better options than most. Cons: No one would answer the phone after several tries. I wanted to tell them we wouldn't be arriving until 10:30 and to not give the room to someone else. Also, the room we stayed in was on the top floor and had a slow drip from the ceiling. By looking at the ceili...

We arrived and two rooms booked. The first one we went to was dirty with unmade beds and trash everywhere. The second room was a king size bed which we had just the front desk we had 7 adults in 2 rooms. The third room was a smoking room that smelled terrible. After we returned from the Chiefs game we came to find out that our sons car had been broken into. Over $400...

There was an issue w/ my reservation, they are saying that my card was declined. The male and female staff in the front desk where arguing in front of me on who should be calling Booking.Com to find out if my payment went thru. The other guy left and the woman at the front desk had to deal with me. I offered to pay cash so that I could just check in. It was 12mn and I...

I can't even begin ri describe my experiences at this hotel. There were a group of us that went and each and everyone of us had something wrong with the room, something dirty in our room that should have been clean. For the price it was not a good deal. On a good note the staff is friendly.

We were pleasantly surprised that in addition to the somewhat expected free breakfast, they also served a free dinner, including adult beverages. All of the staff was very friendly. There was a driver available to take us to and from the baseball stadium and he was very friendly. We will definitely stay there again!

Was looking for best price and close to downtown. Easy booking and the Kickback program was very surprising. No other hotel we've been to does anything like that. The pillows were so nice I bought a set after we got home. Room was clean and staff was friendly. Free breakfast was also very good. If we visit KC and need a hotel again, I'd definitely try to book here agai...

This was a slice of home away from home. The amenities were outstanding! The staff was great and the free parking was a plus. We bought a bottle of wine and we realized we forgot to buy a cork screw! BUT, we were able to go downstairs and borrow from the community closet! Awwwesome! Drive time was less than 20 minutes to shopping and downtown KC and Kaufman stadi...
Cheap places to stay in Kansas City (MO)

They weren't serving breakfast like they had advertised, so that was a bummer. The elevator wasn't working when we first hauled all our sleepy kids and luggage in and had to wait for them to reset the machinery to get up to the third floor. There was no bedding provided in the room for our pull out sofa bed (the whole reason we paid for a suite). When I went back down...

Hotel under construction- I was a last minute reservation & only stayed 6 hours. Room could use upgraded linens & Decor. Could have had laundry room available 24hours. Bathroom was in need of updating & there was a dirty towel left hang on the bathroom door from prior guest. Only was there for a few hours- if I would have been there longer- I would have ask...

We left the hotel at about lunch time to spend time with family and so the cleaning staff could make up the room. We returned to the hotel approximately 4 hours later to find our room door propped open and no one inside. Upon investigation, the cleaning crew left our door propped open after cleaning the room, putting all of our belongings at risk of being stolen. When ...

The outside staff was exceptional when parking my car and opening doors for us. Found the hotel not to be user friendly like most hotels we use. Found information about the hotel practically non-existent pertaining to directions within. We used the pools, but found them difficult to maneuver without steps into the pools (had hanging stairs instead). Drinks were a b...

It's not much of a city, compared to New York, St. Louis, or San Francisco. It's just a typical mid-sized, mid-western city with lots of churches, almost one on every corner if that's your preference.
