"I had booked a night away as my daughter had her theory test in Kendal 9am sat morning, I had looked at reviews and most seemed good, we got a really good B/B deal and was planning on having dinner there aswell, so we checked in asked what time we liked breakfast! They started at 8am with I thought was quite late but especially when we had to leave the hotel at 8.40am but thought surely we would have enough time to eat and go so that was fine with us! We then got our evening meal menu 🙈 the menu didn’t suit my 17 year old daughter, I love trying new things but even I struggled, so we went elsewhere! So we went for breakfast, lady came asked us if we would like a hot drink, we ordered tea and I said can we place food order now aswell as we are pushed for time! I ordered poached egg and a scrambled egg thinking this will be made real fast but no!! the scrambled egg came after half hour then mine came after 35min, the eggs were overcooked and tasteless, the hotel itself is nice, breakfast was a shambles! Just make sure you read there food menu on there actual website as it’s limited and not to everyone’s taste. "
