"I couldn't fault my stay. Kerikeri is a lovely place to stay in the Bay of Islands and this would have to be one of the best motels I have ever stayed in. Absolutely everything worked. There is usually a light bulb or something not working but not here. My bathroom had a spa in addition to the shower which was a very welcome addition. The bed was comfortable and the electric blanket worked. The kitchen was well equipped with both a fan induced oven and microwave and there were many utensils available. I didn't eat at the motel so can't comment. The location was a little off the main road but that was not a problem. The location was peaceful. My room had French windows and outdoor seating with a rural view. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this motel to any travellers, solo, family or business. As I said to the owners, I will certainly be back and for longer next time. "

"I highly recommend this property. Recently gutted and renovated - all new interiors with kitchens. The interiors are worthy of a much more expensive accommodation - Stay Kerikeri is very high value. Decks have been added to each unit. Free laundry which was an extra bonus because we were coming off a 5 day kayaking trip. Great also if you've been to the beach. Extremely friendly owners who are hands on in operating the property. Short walk from the heart of Kerikeri. Nice pool. Lots of parking."

"Loved it! Gorgeous little place in the woods in kerikeri town. About a 5min walk to restaurants etc. Secluded! With a pool and a cute cat. Booked on the day through Agoda.com. Unfortunately booked at the same time as a walk in. Rung to confirm arrival time after 8pm and he lovely lady gave me another room, an upgrade for the same price. So relaxing. I sat on the balcony drinking my red wine and eating my Thai takeaways while I wrote. My room 8 had a shower and toilet in the room with nice shower gels and a makeup face towel and wipes, plus a hairdryer. Other rooms don’t. Lots of tea and coffee and a full set of crockery and cutlery too. Small fridge with milk. Blinds and curtains. Super comfortable bed and sheets, just make sure you close all doors! I let 2 mosquitoes in and spent a whole tracking it down. There is insect spray in the room. You are surrounded by nature so there will be insects in your room. There is a walk from the property to the fairy pool, just behind the car park. Lovely bush walk which takes around 15min. "

"We stayed three nights. It was great base for touring the whole of this northern area of New Zealand. The acommodation was ideal, modern and spotless, especially well equipped for self catering. It is too far from the centre of Kerikeri to walk in, and no footpath for most of the way, so if you want to eat out you will probably have to drive. The best feature was the way the units open out onto a private terrace and garden, so we could eat outside in beautiful surroundings."
