Key West (FL) hotels & accommodations

My wife and I spent the weekend at the Gates Hotel in Key West. The hotel is organized to help visitors to Key West understand where things happen in the city and provides regular free transportation to the city. The bar and pool facilities were excellent and we used both.

The 24 North was a lucky find for us and exceeded all our expectations; the cleanliness, bar, relaxed atmosphere, pool and gym, and location we’re all ideal for us to explore Key West. The hotel sits on ‘Rooster Row’, which is fairly aptly named, and shared a shuttle bus into Key West town with 3 other hotels adjoining. This goes every hour until 3pm, then every 20 -30...

The Casa is indeed a great place to relax on the beach and get a tan, swim in the pool or play in the sand. The hotel is clean and the rooms could be better, but its Key West after all. The beach is not great for swimming unless you have swimming shoes, due to the rocky nature. There was also lots of seaweed. There are only a few beachfront hotels in Key West, so the C...

It is difficult to find reasonably priced hotels on Key West, and this hotel is no exception. But at the Key West Doubletree, in February 2019, we had a room at a *relatively* good price. The rooms are large and clean. The swimming pool is exceptionally pleasant, surrounded by palm trees, clean and warm, with unlimited towels. We enjoyed it every day. Breakfast was a...

I booked here the first time for my mom Big Birthday. We arrived pretty late like 10pm, but its no trouble at all for check in. Room was in decent shape, 2 Queen Beds with basic needs, coffee machine, TV, Free Wifi and Free packing. It's a great place for staying, we were basically out whole day. quiet and I love there's a big pool, no time to try but it seemed pr...

My husband and I were looking for a higher-end relaxing hotel experience in Key West. When we got to the hotel to check in we were hit with an additional $60 a day for "resort" and parking fees, neither of which were included in our final booking price. This was quite upsetting and we were eventually able to get them to remove it but only after a lot of stress. Our ...

Freshly renovated Parrot Key was a delight for our family of four. Our suite was light filled, decorated with a modernish islands flair, and very clean. A lot of details were smartly thought through, right down to plush bath towels and robes, and bath sundries by L'Occitane. All units face a lushly landscaped courtyard featuring 4 pools, each in it's own little leafy w...

We really liked this hotel. The pool was awesome, the food truck and drinks were really good. Employees were very friendly. They had a shuttle to Duval street every hour which was great and free parking which is big in Key West. The only downside was we got a handicap room (but it was in a great location) and one day they were really late in cleaning the room - we had ...

I had such a great time at The Perry hotel this past weekend with my husband and my son. The hotel is so beautiful, the decor is gorgeous, and the pool and the outside area are breathtaking. The rooms are very modern and super nice. We had a room with a balcony facing the pool and the view was spectacular. The staff is so friendly and professional. I cannot say enough ...

Great stay! Staff was amazing, very velcoming+friendly and knowledgeable. Parking was included, which is very convenient as the streets have very limited parking. Their properties are located within walking distance to the major attractions. Overall good stay - wouldn’t choose any other place to stay at in Key West over Douglas House.

Good value for the money. A least you get more than towels for Resort Fees. I am no fan have resort fee and they should be banned because too many hotels charge you resort fees for towels, use gym, pool and internet the basic you get before resort fees. At least Fairfield Inn & Suites Key West resort fees you get a free RT shuttle service to tourist spot in Key West, ...

When booking this room, I wasn't expecting much because this motel was one of the cheaper rooms by Key West standards, yet the most expensive room I paid for all week traveling from one end of the Keys to Key West. However, this was the best room we had all week. Spacious, very clean, updated room with lovely decor, great location to downtown activities, and wonderfu...

Setting is fab. Bar area great, with hammocks. Pool is small and could do with a net nearby. Jacuzzi lovely. Rooms are small but very authentic. Could have done with a kettle. Free drinks in lobby and at happy hour. Free coffee, iced tea and water and free sun cream and insect repellant - both essential. Staff very human, quirky gift shop. All good. 10 minute walk to F...

Definitely not worth saving money to stay here- it was very dirty, the ladies dormitory bathroom was full of cockroaches, there were only about 4 working outlets in the room, and the single ac unit failed to keep the rooms cool. There was not enough parking so cars had to park on the street- the attendant said it was fine but a guest told us that the cops will tow cars...

Travel dates July 3-5, 2020. I have to say that this B & B is so cute. I felt like I was in a little island oasis. The suite I stayed in was perfect for 3 people. In our room we had a private room separate from the main bedroom. In that room, there was a couch that had a twin size pull out bed, private AC, mid size fridge, kuerig, and microwave. The staff was amazingly...

It was my third time to stay over the last 8 years. It is next to a dance club so you must take that into consideration when it comes to the noise level. If you are staying there is it really to be in the heart of Key West. However the rooms are nice and the staff are very friendly so that is of course a plus. Having a back bar and pool makes for a good time and a ...

I appreciated that they did not charge extra for parking or those "resort fees" that other hotels charge you just to stay there. Breakfast is not included. I've been to Key West around 4x since my in-laws live there and this is the best place we've ever stayed at so far. Very charming location and can be considered very good deal at the price. My only complaint is the parking facility but that is a fairly common problem in Key West.

My husband and I had never been to key west before, so booking can be hard when you don’t know the area. We definitely chose the right hotel. We were in walking distance of everything! We were only in Key West for one night, definitely not long enough. The beach is lovely and the water very warm.
Street parking is limited and meter readers give parking tickets quite often even if you are 5 minutes late! That is a terrible thing to do to patrons of their restaurants, bars, and stores! Try to take a hotel shuttle if possible to avoid parking tickets.
It is very nice in the summer as long as you enjoy the water. Key west is surronded by water abd the main sports there is fishing, Jet skiing, Snorkeling and other water sports.
Old parts of town very attractive with well preserved buildings. Weather very good for December. More suitable for older visitors than young party-goers.
Only thing need to worry about Key West is the budget. You can find help anywhere, people are friendly in Key West.
