"We ended up paying extra for a friend to visit us for awhile while we were in Knoxville. The reason “this isn’t a home, it’s a hotel. Even though you friend is only visiting they still use electric, water and toilet paper”. Should not have to pay for someone who is not spending the night. If not reported there was a $200 fee. My son went outside and another worker accused him of having dogs in our room when we didn’t. Won’t go back there."

"We were there the nights tropical storm Alberto hit. The place was packed and we were lucky to get a room. The room was clean and had what we needed. The water didn’t drain in the bathtub while you showered and we got a room closest to a door to the outside so you could smell the smoke. Breakfast was good- it was Memorial Day weekend and I don’t think they were expecting the crowds- so they did run out of some foods. But the staff were courteous and helpful. We stayed here 2 nights and it was fine."

"After it took 45 minutes to check in because our reservation had been lost, all we wanted was a hot shower and some rest after our drive. We expected the hotel to be sub par because of price but never thought it would be so filthy. Bugs crawling everywhere, stains on bedding and couch, carpet had been rippped out of room, old popcorn and food under bed that had not been cleaned. The shower had a red ring around the tub, I don't know if it was rust or blood... I had the sickest feeling in my stomach. I did not want to touch anything for fear of bedbugs. We did not stay and slept in car instead. The absolute worst hotel and experience I've ever had traveling. Would not recommend to my worst enemy. "

"This is our first time at a Drury Hotel and I am really so thrilled we gave it a try!!! Truly! The staff is extremely friendly, hotel and grounds are immaculate, the rooms are spacious and lovely and super comfortable...all of this plus an added bonus of a wonderful breakfast buffet makes Drury hard to beat! We would definitely seek out Drury Hotels in future travels as our top choice in this hotel category as opposed to any competitor hotel chains. Great experience!"

"The room was pretty cheap. The bathroom was very dirty, to the point I didn’t take a shower . They need to remodel everything . The walls must have been only a inch or two thick. I could hear everything. Burn holes in the blankets and carpet . I had to play with the outlets to get them to work . I don’t believe they have ever heard of febreze. Only one light worked in the room . Hotels like this need to be shut down or managed by people who care about guest satisfaction. I wish I could get a refund...."

"This hotel room was fantastic! The only problem I had was I had reserved the room on pethotels.com, and I thought the price included the pet as well, but they charged me an extra $35 without letting me know there was a charge. I understand there's got to be pet fees sometimes, but first of all, let your guests know that, and second of all, does it really have to be $35. I stayed in a hotel the week before and had no pet fee and it was a brand new red roof inn with wonderful rooms as well!"
