We LOVED everything about this place. The staff was extremely friendly, kind, and helpful. They spoke excellent English. They were warm and welcoming at check in and every time we walked past. There is an elevator also if needed which after all the hiking and adventures we went on, we were grateful for. The room had the best ac on the whole island and it blew out evenl...

We really enjoyed our stay at the Phi Phi Island Village Beach Resort (formerly Outrigger Phi Phi) - the rooms were beautiful and clean, the bathroom/shower were fantastic, the staff extremely friendly, and the resort truly beautiful right along the beach. This place truly is a resort and if you stay you could spend your entire trip there if you preferred. The food is ...

This property was beautiful. Being a solo traveler, I definitely didn’t need as much space. I spent most of my time exploring by boat during my time in Koh Phi Phi. I would highly recommend PP for groups and couples who are looking to lounge by a gorgeous pool and relax. Yet, be close enough to nightlife and all-things Koh Phi Phi.

This resort area was nice with lots of trees and plants around. It's right at the beach front, but there is no beach view from the rooms because there are restaurants blocking the view. You have a view from the restaurants though. There are lots of mosquitoes around, but not in the rooms. There is lots of construction going on, but it's not super noisy, and there is co...

+ : Amazing service - free pickup from the pier, shuttles to your rooms if asked, VERY nice and friendly staff. nice activities on the beach, good service at the beach bar, boat-trips service, scuba diving center (very good instructors!), fire shows at 9PM every night, free minibar in the room. AMAZING BEACH - the best beach in koh phi phi (and for us in whole thai...

This place exceeded expectations 100 fold. The room we were given was huge, at least 600 square feet complete with a small patio and glass encased standing shower. Bath robes were provided and the in room refrigerator mini bar had Chang stocked for just slightly above mainland prices. Wi-fi was fast and reliable, A/C unit worked to perfection and the shower deliver...

The pool is beautiful and is better than it looks in the photos. The standard room had great air conditioning. The location was perfect if you want to relax but also just a short walk from all the nightlife the island has to offer. But the reason why they are truly amazing was the service. Every staff member was incredibly nice and helpful, especially the manager at th...

This hotel has a great location, especially for those wanting to dive near Koh Phi Phi. There are approximately six dive shops within a three-minute walk from the lobby. We also found our garden wing room - one of the newer rooms in the back of the resort - to be very quiet and cool throughout the day. The linens were especially clean, the shower was hot, and had pl...

Our stay was wonderful! The resort is right on Long Beach, the best beach on Phi Phi Don, and directly faces Phi Phi Lay. Breakfast was excellent with a magnificent view. The 20 minute walk to town is over rocks and hills, so it's not for everyone, but we enjoyed it. This distance keeps Long Beach relatively secluded and very quiet, so we were pleased. Hire a "tax...

The path to the hotel was being renovated and there seems to be a new hotel being built next to it so I was a little anxious walking up to it from the pier, however I was overall impressed by the hotel. Lobby area is nice and we were greeted with a drink and shown to our rooms promptly. Rooms were a little dated but nice for what we booked (£28 pp pn) and far nicer th...

This place was by far the best place I've stayed at. Went there with my GF and make sure you ask for the sea view room. At a place like this, you will regret it since its so beautiful with big windows all throughout the walls. Breakfast buffet is amazing and the staff is so kind. Wifi is fast as well. You have your own private beach literally less than 50 meters away a...

Koh Phi Phi is a nice island that likes to party. Cobble Beach is away from the party zone but close enough to town for all the shops and restaurants (5-10 minute walk). The view is absolutely gorgeous from cobble beach with all the bungalowsooking over the bay. The restaurant was nice. The staff (including the owner who did a lot of work and was present) was very acco...

Arriving by ferry, the Phi Phi hotel is hard to miss. It is easily the biggest building on Koh Phi Phi and as such has views across the entire island. The room we had overlooked the (much prettier) North Beach and opening the blinds each morning was a genuine treat. The staff at the hotel were always very courteous and quick to answer any questions/fix any proble...

Staying at the PP Princess hotel was a dream. We didn't realize that we booked the "Pool Villa" and were blown away when we had our own villa with a pool overlooking the beautiful beach of the Phi Phi Island. This beach was excellent because it was a bit quieter and less crowded than the rest. The service was exceptional here and we were greeted in our villa with wel...

This hotel saves us after the hotel we were originally supposed to be staying at turned out to be nothing like it was advertised! They accommodated us very last minute and we were very impressed at the quality of the hotel and facilities. The pool was really lovely and the hotel is situated right on the beach. It is also only a 5 minute walk from the main pier. The ro...

Fantastic resort away from the main touristy area of Koh Phi Phi, great for relaxation and much more private than on the main, busier stretch of beach on the other side of the island. The only downside is the walk from reception the room...depending on where your room is situated in the resort...ours was a little bit of a trek, as was the main shopping/eating/drinking...

We searched for quite a while for a place to stay in Phi Phi, when we booked this place we still weren't sure we made the right choice but after checking-in and staying there, we know we made the best choice. We were pleasantly surprised and would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Phi Phi. Pros -Saftey deposit box -Very clean -They give you room towel...

Very nice, helpfull, profesionall staff. Amazing view on the bay, settled on top hill on the best Long beach in Koh Phi Phi. Bungalows, accomodations, equipment is the best. Breakfast perfect with service. The stairs up and down twice a day is ok. Firstly we stayed only for 3 nights, after we extended our stay next 5 nights. Really very nice, kind and polite people th...

I have only good things to say about this resort. The staff is very nice and helpful and they did their best to please us. We received for free, from their side, the breakfast and one taxi transport to Tonsai (the harbour in Koh Phi Phi Don). Besides they have really good prices for private tours. The bungalows are clean, well equiped, quiet and spacious. The beach is ...

After reading previous reviews. The Holiday Inn was everything I expected. Although, it is a bit expensive, it was definitely worth it. The beaches, water, and sunsets from that part of Koh Phi Phi are breathtaking. The restaurant was very good and the breakfast that was included in the room price was first rate. The Holiday Inn also had a happy hour every day whe...

We booked through agoda just a few days before so we didnt have many options on our room as the resort was full. We could only book one day but staff was nice enough to let us stay extra nights as they saved our room for us the next day! All the staffs were nice with good sense of humour. The breakfast was great with sea view. One of the most comfy bed I have experienc...

The staff will meet you at the Ferry to help transport your luggage to the hotel. This is a complimentary service, but our help was extremely thankful for his tip. The majority of the hotels and hostels on Phi Phi are on the other side of the island, on the "town" side, where it can get a little crazy. This side is quite and great for anyone looking for a bit of a roma...

This hotel is for those wanting to see Koh Phi Phi or to use it as a base for activities. We stayed here while we dived on Koh Phi Phi although this seems to be the most expensive place to dive in Thailand. There's a good buffet breakfast with hot and cold foods. It's a 10 minute flip flop walk into town but only 3 minutes to either the North or South Beach. There ...

My friend and I were lucky enough to stay at Rantee Cliff Beach Resort due to flash deal on Agoda! We knew we wanted to stay on Koh Phi Phi and we left wanting to stay longer! Rantee Cliff offers an affordable, clean, and an authentic experience on Koh Phi Phi. A short 20 minute longtail boat from the Pier. My friend and I stayed both in their beach front bungalow a...

This resort is in an amazing location! Close enough to the action if you want to party and quiet enough if you want to stay in and relax. Phi Phi has a very chilled out atmosphere and that's how the resort feels. Breakfast was a pretty standard buffet you find in all resorts. Only this I can really fault them on is giving us the list of fines (I think this was mention...

Sadly koh phi phi has changed into party island for young. But its still lovely place, and good facilities to support family needs. You can make what you want of phi phi, enjoy the beach life or party hard, something for everyone ☺ The Ibiza Hotel has 2 swimming pools, 1 set back ideal for families and front pool is where the 2-3times week pool parties are held. All g...

You know what you imagine when you think about the Thai Islands? Phi Phi Relax Resort fulfills that image to a tee. Tucked away on the other side of the island (far away from the tourist hell of Ton Sai), Phi Phi Relax completely lives up to its name. We booked a Garden Bungalow, which was fine, but I'd recommend booking one of the bungalows with a sea view or at l...

First of all, please note that this hotel is not in Koh Phi Phi Town but on the northern part of the island - Laemtong beach. In order to get there you will need a ferry to Ton Sai pier and then another one to Laemtong. Some ferry companies make the entire route. There is a hiking trail from Laemtong to Ton Sai that passes through the view point - Very impressive spo...

This place is gorgeous, and very secluded and quiet. Little village about 10-15minute walk has a few fun bars, food, massage, shops. Beautiful infinity pool, and was like our own private resort because apparently, people just kind of stay in their cottages a lot. Did an island-hopping and snorkeling tour, which was fun. Only drawback, they say in their description that...
Cheapest hotels in Koh Phi Phi

The value for money is okay since everything is more expensive in Koh Phi Phi. The location is really good (3 minutes walk to the pier). The beds are comfortable and you have a bathroom in your dorm. You get a blanket and a towel. Unfortunately the staff can't speak english.

My stay at centerpoint went rather smoothly, I stayed in the 10 bed mixed dorm which is located downstairs. I met some great people and as a result had a fab time in Phi Phi.on the other hand other guest didn't have the same experience. One guest checked in to then find out by other people staying in the room that the last person to sleep in the bed had urinated and t...

I've read a lot of varying reviews of this hotel. It's important to keep things in perspective. Koh Phi Phi is a tropical island, therefore there will be cockroaches and mosquitoes. The room was incredibly comfortable: air-conditiong, hot showers, and a quiet neighborhood (all - especially the last - luxuries during high season). The beach is seconds away, and a very s...

The bed there was so nice. The best I ever had while backpacking, a really nice tick blanket and darkness! You would want to stay inn all day long. Location was perfect, nice little garden, everything on walking distance. aircon, clean. shower was nice (but a lot of mosquito friends in the shower). If I go back to Phi Phi I will go back here.

Phi Phi is packed with all kinds of hotels and its hard to find a decent one without there being some kind of issue..... mainly noise. This place is basic, small bed room ( the bathroom was almost bigger) but on Phi Phi you don't tend to spend too much time in your hotel, its basically for sleeping and showering, so this place is perfect for that. Its just a few minute...

The hostel is one room off the Main Street. Two bathrooms which were clean enough. Comfortable bed. Fridge and lockers but didn’t feel very secure as the front door was always unlocked. You have to go to a cafe up the road to check in which is a little confusing at first. For Phi Phi the price was good so good value over all. Great location

Good hostel, on the main road (only road) in phi phi. It's a 2 minute walk to the beach etc. Good locations, some steep steps to get up after a heavy night out but the air con worked well 👌🏽 would reccomend. Only downside was no real communal area, I spent 3 nights there and hardly saw anyone else to talk to!

The rooms are new and very clean, but quite small. There is not much space to put your bags and when you shower the bathroom gets completely wet. If you are looking for a basic and cheap (compared to other Koh Phi Phi prices, which are a lot higher than the rest of Thailand) place which is clean, this is were you should go. If you want a fridge, TV, toiletries, safe...

This was the cheapest place I could find in Phi Phi. It was really nice. One could say that there are too many beds in the room, but the curtains are partitions make it seem less crowded and the way the sunlight drifts in through the windows makes it feel cozy. If you are bothered by music, you probably shouldn't stay at this place. Because at night, the bar next doo...

Compared to other dorm options on Koh Phi Phi, I'm sue Alena is one of the best, thoug it's still not great. The dorm room was clean but the bathrooms on the main level are in need of a thougrough cleaning and repair. There are lockers to keep valuables safe, but the dorm on the main level is accessible by a sliding door that doesn't lock - anyone can walk into the dor...

I booked for 1 night and ended up staying 4. It's a very clean dorm accessible from the street. It's the newest hostel in Phi Phi with it's large beds (larger than others I've seen). I think they made some changes after the previous reviews because the toilets/showers are very new and super clean. Staff cleans the bedroom 2x a day and the toilets at least 3x. Only 14 b...

This place is VERY loud, the party starts early and ends at 2 so if you want a quiet place this is definitely a NO but if you like party then go for it you would love it. The hostel is clean, toiets and bathrooms are clean and much better than most hostels on Phi Phi.

I've stayed on the island many times now and have stayed in the best and worst phi phi has to offer. Phi Phi dream has to be up there with the beat. Its clean. Great team of staff. From the cleaners up to the owners. Great people. Rooms are cleaned every day. Rare for phi phi. Great to cone back to a fresh room after the beach. The hotel is located far enough away from...

Staff was friendly, room was clean and comfortable, quiet at night, close to the Viewpoint walk. It is a reasonable price for Koh Phi Phi, where everything is overpriced and all ratings are so bad. By the way, Koh Phi Phi is the most beautiful island in Thailand, but they have turned into a landfill - very sad!

Due to that Koh Phi Phi is mostly about party and the hostel is right in the centrum its not quite at night there is a bar close and you can hear the music clearly in your room. Nothing for light sleepers, so bring ear plugs. Its ok to crash down for a night here. I remind you that they don't have towels or shampoo I don't expect it but have seen better at other hostel...

We had a great time. Chai was very accommodating and friendly. We met some lovely people who we spent majority of our time on phi phi with. It was nice and quiet which is good for an afternoon nap before the next night of partying. Would stay here again for sure.

I loved this hotel. The people who work there are friendly! They were at the pier when I got off boat and led me up the hill to the hotel and carried my bag. Super helpful! Hotel is about 15 min walk, not too bad but if you are not into walking in the heat it might not be for you. Huts are cute but made of bamboo so you hear everything from the others staying ther...

This is by far the cleanest hostel I've been to. As it is brand new, the bathrooms are very, very nice! Fran is really friendly and helpful. Location is great! Do know it is on the Ao Lo Dalum Beach, THE party place on Phi Phi, so it is a bit noisy at night (but it was far less than what I expected). So if you're planning to have a good sleep, dont stay here (but may...

Great location, 5 minutes walk to Ko Phi Phi center, but very quiet place. Small but decent breakfast - two toasts with jam and butter, decent coffee and cheap juice. Optionally you can order extra food (i.e. pad thai for 50 THB) as it's a restaurant. The room had enough space with some shelves. Generally it was very clean, however our sheet had some old stains o...

I was a solo backpacking traveler who decided to stay in the dorm rooms. The beds are very comfortable, the mattresses are a little on the firmer side but I prefer a firmer bed in warmer climates. Although the rooms don't have air conditioning they do have two fans that oscillate and seem to work well for me. The dorm rooms are kept really immaculate. They have shared ...

Me and my girlfriend stayed at the kitty guesthouse whilst island hopping during our backpacking travels. The European owner was quick to greet us with a friendly smile and a chat, and proceeded to give us great advice, recommendations and great hospitality throughout our stay, a great spot on koh phi phi, not too close to the night life but within short walking distan...

Great little guest house, not far from the party beach but far enough away that you can sleep if you head back early... although you can still hear the party in the distance! It’s a bit of a walk with backpacks when you first arrive, we hadn’t pinned the location so struggled without WiFi and walked around in circles for a bit! It’s a lower to mid range place to stay b...

We were a group of 8 people, 5 adults and 3 small children, staying at The Banthai and we really liked it. Miss Lee made us feel very welcome and was really nice, just as the rest of the staff. It's a simple budgethotel, but it's good value for the money :)

Sadly koh phi phi has changed into party island for young. But its still lovely place, and good facilities to support family needs. We loved this Hostel! The staff was so great! They even hauled our backpacks to and from the pier! It was a great spot to just Chill and relax! It has a pool with a swim up bar that made delicious drinks, a library inside a tree house and all of the rooms have hammocks! It is towards the end of the Koh PhI Phi main road and 5 minute walk to the beach. Many stairs to ...

Chongkhao is a ten minute walk from the main drag of Koh Phi Phi, which is nice because it is quiet at night, unlike the hotels in the main area. Our room was clean and well-appointed, and we felt it was good value for Koh Phi Phi, where all of the accommodations pricing seems a bit inflated compared to other islands in the area. The breakfast provided is very simple:...

We arrived to Villa 360 at low tide. They had a pre-arranged long boat waiting for us at the ferry, which was very convenient as we thought we would have to book that on our own. Upon arrival, we were presented cold towels and a fruit drink at check-in. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. Our villa was absolutely beautiful. It was clean and offered an amazing...
5-star hotels in Koh Phi Phi

Zeavola was a zen oasis for my wife, 5-year old daughter and me following several days in the more off-the-beaten-path islands further south of Koh Phi Phi. Our experience with Zeavola began with a uniformed representative from the hotel picking us at the Ton Sai ferry dock and escorting us to a long-tail boat which took us up the beautiful western side of the island ...
Traveler impressions of Koh Phi Phi
Viewpoints are a must. Papaya restaurant has the best food and prices, but they don't serve beer. Nightlife is wild on the beach.
Koh Phi Phi is purely for night life and I can´t complain, I had tonnes of fun. There are all sorts of young travellers there from different countries.
Not a large island, no car is allowed not even a mortocycle. Clear water, nice weather. Hotels and resorts are on Koh Phi Phi Don, while Koh Phi Phi Leh is where the famous Maya Bay and other attractions are.
Truly beautiful island but a little bit overcrowded during the peak season and spoiled by tourism. Perfect place for scuba diving.
Excellent place to visit. It should be on your bucket list. It provides one with an unusual experience that is memorable.
The Ibiza of South East Asia. Crazy place but good for a party. Hotels are expensive for this reason and they are poor quality hotels.
secret and quiet bays with turquoise water on the eastern shore, accessable by boats, or adventourous forest trails viewpoint 1 and 2 are reachable by a breath-taking 1-hour walk through the mangrove forest with monkeys, local farms, coconut palm trees, well worth it! don't miss snorkeling at Pileh Lagoon in Phi Phi Lee with private boat in morning time!
Very nice island mostly with young people looking forward to big parties in the night :-) And its very close to Maya Bay - but be carreful, its MUCH better to go there in the morning, not in the afternoon due to ebb :)
I guess it is great for singles who want to get wasted at cheap/bad alcahol and be stupid and loud. But this island is rather waste of money/time for families/couples.
It is a party island. In the evening you can see many young people walking around with small buckets full of alcoholic mix drinks.
We Stayed in 2 different places. First we started more quiet place and when we wanted more life, we moved to central.
Koh Phi Phi is a very nice island with great beaches, with an amazing view point, with many souvenir shops and with many bars and night life.
Long Beach, Viking Beach, Viewpoint are must-see. The island is touristy even in rainy season. Foods are expensive and tasteless.
Nice tropical setting with lots of stuff to do for 20-somethings that like nightlife, pizza and scuba.
Isolated Island with no road vehicles which makes it perfect for anyone trying to run away from the city life.
Visited Phi Phi many times in the past. Very disappointed now to see shopping malls and many hotels being built.
Boats arrive here from phuket, krabi & lanta about 2 to 3 times a day. There are no cars, police or hospitals here, it's a bit chaotic when you arrive :) all of the little streets join each other and lead to either the beach or the mountain.
Koh Phi Phi is great for any group format, except perhaps families or business travellers. I would not recommend it as a relaxing destination at all (e.
If you have realistic expectations you'll do fine. Since it's on everyone's radar there will be a lot of people, and expect to pay more for everything than you would on the mainland or even at Phuket.
More of a party island not much to see in terms of culture but a lot of fun if you want to party and relax
Easy to reach from Phuket via the ferry which is reasonably priced. I would recommend a two night stay with a full day speed boat trip around the islands again reasonably priced and many tours to choose from.
This s is a n unique place worht visiting. nice calm shallow beach. But this is party place, drinking all night.
Koh Phi Phi is not a very clean island. To me, i prefer Phuket so much more but different people have different view.
Ko Phi Phi is a small island in the Andaman Sea that has become an increasingly busy tourist trap. It is full of a variety of accomodation options.
Phi Phi island(north) is such good place for relaxation as it is so quiet and beautiful. You can watch the sunrise on sea in the morning.
A few days in Koh Phi Phi is enough. Island hopping is a must for all travellers who visit this island.
If you like quite and relax places stay in the south part of the island. If you are more to party then stay in ao lo da lum which is the central of the island.
Amazing small island quiet nightlife but full of magic fire saws and beach bars and party's every night
If you want to party at night, Koh PhiPhi is one of the best places to spend a few night in. But if you don't want the noise at night and still want to stay in the island, choose some accommodation in Long Beach.

We stayed here with another couple, unfortunately for only two nights. We would've stayed longer if we could and we couldn't recommend this place more! It's a very serene place with towering cliffs to one side, a nice beach to another. It's close enough to walk to the small town but far enough for the party music to not ruin your sleep at night. phi phi is a small island, very very small. the arboreal resort is probably the best hotel on the island given that it is located half-way up a hill (more on this later) and therefore set-back from the market and shops which is solely what phi phi consists of. the other hotels we saw during our time in phi phi were set right on the main street of the island and i imagi...

We arrived on Phi Phi by passenger ferry from Phuket. Once on the island we had to pay 20baht each for the maintenance of the island. A guy was there to meet us and put our luggage in a carrier and we followed him through the little streets to our hotel. I didnt expect the streets to be so close together but it was lovely. We were welcomed with refreshments and then s...

The rooms and facility are very modern, up to date and well kept. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant had good food. The pool was well maintained and cleaned every morning. Overall a great hotel that is definitely worth staying at while on Koh Phi Phi.

We were very satisfied with our stay here! Initially we were concerned about noise on Koh Phi Phi, as we are not the partying types, and all fears were allayed at this resort! Our room was in the hotel (not the bungalows)-- very clean, quiet, and comfortable. Also, even though it is verrrry near a mosque, it was incredibly quiet even during call to prayer. This...

All g...

I’m Thai solo traveling. I had a booking for a night and the location is not as bad as in others reviews. However Phi phi island is not too big so you can go through by walking. The staff named P’Nut was very helpful. Would love to go there again! Thank you very much ka

The Pool and view were really great. Probably the best place to stay on phi phi for the price. Really. Staff was super chill and laid back, we even brought people over for an after party in the pool at 3am theres distance from the pool to the rooms so noise was not an issue. Only thing is it was a but of a walk from the bars, but thats not saying much, maybe like 8 mi...

There was no elevator in the hotel, but staff took care of our bags. We asker for a late check-out, but staff informed us, that we have to pay around 300 bat per hour. But all hotels in Thailand charge for a late check-out. The room was OK, and location was really good. In the center of Phi Phi. In the evening it was a bit noisy. The breakfast was almost perfect. F...

There are a few beaches on Phi Phi Don, and they are hardly connected at all. To get to Long Beach, one must take a long boat there from the main pier area. But once here, nearly all of the hotels have restaurants and/or bars right on the beach, including Phi Phi Long Beach Resort. That's all we needed for our stay: food, drink, beach, and a room. The rooms were nice, ...

I've been to many resorts in Thailand, but I had the best experience by far at PP Mountain Beach Resort and Water Park. The staff took care of us very well and made us very comfortable during our stay. Even though the water park part was not open all the way, they worked hard to open some parts and let us enjoy it. We had lots of fun. The breakfast was delicious, espe...

I took my 64 year old parents to Arayaburi Resort after having been to Koh Phi Phi a couple of times before. I chose this place for the location away from the noise and the view. Although it was a bit difficult walking the steep slopes to the room, we had a great stay and would certainly go back. The location is great. It's quiet and has a nice beach of it's own, b...

We originally booked through Agoda, but because of some conflict out deluxe cottage wasn't available. Without even saying a word, Miss Junnie came back to us 3 minutes later and had upgraded us to one of their amazing pool villas. Things were a little outdated in places, but this is not the Sheraton or Westin. This is a remote tropical escape. If you want "modern luxu...

More about Koh Phi Phi
Phi Phi's postcard appearance can be attributed to its limestone formations rising out of the water, providing a stunning backdrop against the clear water and white sand beaches. Long-tail boats take visitors on tours around the limestone formations and can be booked on an hourly basis.
For the best views of Phi Phi Island, a viewing platform 186 meters above sea level offers stunning panoramas. Nightlife on Phi Phi isn't as raucous as that on Phuket, but there are still plenty of bars that stay open late for the night owls.
Of course, a visit to Koh Phi Phi would not be complete without a trip to the Viking Cave, which is conveniently located close to a wide range of accommodations.
