"Even though this Ryokan is literally out the cute train station doors and turn right immediately walk down road by half block our GPS couldn't figure it out and if you only speak and read English like us be prepared ! It looks like a big cement apartment building but it makes along and there is the old original building with lots of character, charm , garden glimpses . Loved the detail of freshly cut flowers and plum blossom branches blooming in vases. We booked a private Onsen(bath) which was cute looked onto a little garden. The rooms are full typical they will nicely set your bed up at end of day . The rooms, walls ,doors are stained as well as couches in lobby (only spot for WIfi fyi) so that's why I dont give it many stars. The staff is sweet efficient kind. The traditional meals at dinner and breakfast are quite an amazing feat with the display, the many courses and service! I love the detail of you choose your robe when arrive and in your room you get a jacket to wear. "
