Find Hotels in La Spezia, Italy

We stayed for 3 nights around a week ago, getting upgraded from standard room for adding 15 euro/night, and we had room with one of the biggest window facing directly to the sea. Pretty neat, especially because it's autumn, so it wasn't always sunny everyday. So when the weather was so bad and stormy, it still nice to stay-in and enjoy the quality time for few hours. It's not a new hotel but everything is pretty nice and clean. It also easy to go to the train station, around 10-15 minutes by bus, the bus stop is walking distance from the hotel. We had to go to the train station every day because we wanted to explore Cinque Terre. But other beautiful places such as Porto Venere also nearby. Breakfast menu is same with other NH, at least in Italy, not bad at all. They keep changing menu for dinner, but if you like the set of the week you definitely should try, last time I was there I had really good seafood dinner, well as it is the speciality in that area. Very clean, good size and great location above train station. Easy to visit Cinque Terre and can explore La Spezia. The only issue is that there are many stairs and no lift however a big thanks to Paulo who very kindly carried our luggage for us when we arrived and especially made it a point to be available to help when we left. This was a big help as I was travelling with my parents have back and knee issues, so this was a huge help.

The stay in the hotel is so comfy and enjoyable. The hotel consists of 5 rooms only, on the day we arrived there were 2 rooms available, the owner showed us both and let us chose, i think the decoration and design for each room is different, but those 2 we've seen are also nice. Strong wifi and satellite tv are provided.Train station can be reached within 5mins walk. A little breakfast corner is offered in the house, breads and coffee machines are provided every morning. Just the check-in is a bit complicated, we had to call and waited for the owner to come when we arrived as there is a note on the door with indication. But overall is a very pleasant stay.

It’s an excellent hostel. Staff are very nice and helpful. Guests are mostly friendly. You can get good rest even in a 6 bed dorms. The kitchen is very well equipped and breakfast is provided. There are lockers in the room with locks. Aircon in all rooms and windows will be opened for air exchange every morning. There’s an elevator in the building so you don’t need to carry luggage up stairs. There are affordable restaurants nearby and every guest from the hostel gets a free welcome drink. There’s an activity blackboard and the staff organise dinner night I think twice a week where they make simple dinner and you pay for a fee and people who are interested can sit together to have dinner and hang out. There are only 2 showers and 2 toilets in both males and females bathroom. Needed to wait for a bit in some occasions. The reception and kitchen are closed from 11pm-8am.

The owner of the apartment is a nice lady. She stayed late for my private check in due to train delay. There was nothing open on Monday night. I felt sorry that they hardly to found a place for dinner after my check. The room is big and cozy. Clean, modern and bright. High ceiling of the room made feel relax especially after one full day travel at Cinque Terre. Highly recommend if couple come over.

I stayed just for a night in La Spezia to visit Cinque Terre and it was a nice and pleasant experience to stay here. It was really good that it was ok to leave my luggage and get it back when I had to move after the checkout. The room was very cozy and clean, and it was quiet enough to get a good sleep. I would definitely visit here again if I have a change to visit La Spezia.

Welcome on arrival from the owner very nice. He gave us lots of useful information about the town and Cinque Terre. The rooms have been recently renovated and they were very nice. Beds extremely comfy, shower very good as was the WiFi and air conditioning. Location good for all amenities including trains and boats to Cinque Terre. Overall I would recommend and revisit.

Simona runs a bright spotlessly clean place close enough to the station to easily visit the Cinque Terre over a few days. Breakfast is a combination of tea/coffee and light snacks provided in the room and a coupon for a nearby cafe which serves good coffee and pastries. There is a share fridge in the hallway. The only negative is the 3 long but not difficult flights of stairs. La Spezia is quite nice and a short bus or boat ride from Porto Venere which is lovely.

this is not a hotel, it is a house converted to rooms with no full time staff to man the place. Avoid check in from 3-5pm as the lady manning the place has to fetch her children from school, and the telephone operator just told us to wait on the main street without explaining why nor how long we have to wait. Hope the owner can understand the frustrations of the guests, the poor lady juggling her family & work and her children giving her an earful as well. Pl explain to the guests and have some contingency arrangements. Breakfast is at a cafe across the street - just juice, coffee & a croissant.

The property is close to the train station which brings you to Cinque Terra and has a mini mart just next door for purchase of water etc. The owner is very friendly and the apartment is clean and bathroom stylishly new. Very comfortable! Since the guesthouse is located in a very quiet residential area, one may not find too many tourist amenities nearby, like eateries and restaurants.

awesome! great and fast communication, greeted on arrival, able to store luggage until later train, as per photos and description, practical (no lift but we got our luggage taken upstairs and downstairs), perfect firm mattress, incredibly powerful and hot shower with massage function, little welcome tray with a range of hot drinks AND cookies, double windows to block out street noise. only minus: view not great and fridge could be cleaner. would come back for longer without hesitating!

I had read the reviews that said the room was not near the main Restaurant and I was a little concerned of what I might find when I arrived. But just like other guests that have stayed here they will have found that the rooms are comfortable and although they are not situated in the same building as breakfast, do not let this deter you from staying here. The Bella Napoli is a great place to stay, to eat and the breakfast that Maria gave me in the morning kept me going well into the afternoon. Maria was great and she made my stay very pleasant. It's a 5 min walk from the train station and there is a supermarket just around the corner. I would stay here next time I am in La Spezia.

We stayed here to go to cinqueterra because we had a car. It’s a b&b- a room in an apartment it seems (5 different rooms available). Room is basic but has everything you need. Very clean & comfortable. It’s just a bit small for 3 people but for 2 it would be good. There’ are a bunch of snacks and drinks that are included! Owner is very helpful, nice, and quick to respond. There’s some free street parking (all full when we came) and around the corner there’s a larger lot to park in for free as well. It’s a 6 min walk to the train station and then 9min Train ride to the first cinqueterra town. Personally I think it’s better to stay in La Spezia or Levanto instead of the cinque terra towns just because it is soooo crowded in the summer. But I guess if you don’t have a car then would be easier to stay in the towns.

Casa Luli is perfect! We were a family of 6 and the apartment accommodated us very easily. Kitchen is great I cooked most meals. Hosts are wonderful and attentive and happy to answer your questions throughout your stay. Easy walk to train for Cinque Terre - under 10 mins. BECAREFUL to get on the right train while visiting the region they will fine you per person many euros€€€!! I would highly recommend staying here! The view out the kitchen doors is fabulous of the mountainside will all the little house built into it. There is a small patio and place to sit and enjoy the view. Washing machine and place to hang your laundry outdoors to dry! All in all perfecto!!!

I was welcomed with very warm hospitality! They are very friendly and helpful. Location is good. It's located between the train staion and the port. Lots of shops, cafes and restaurants are around. The single room I stayed was super clean with great sense of humor-the way the towels were folded :-). I, to be honest, liked the town La Spezia more than Cinque-Terre thanks to this hotel. I would definately go back to stay this hotel when I visit La Spezia again. Thank you for the pleasant memory!!
