My hubby and I came to Lagos for our honeymoon and found Suite Thing hostel to be the perfect place to stay. Inside old city, a distance from train & bus station. Owner not in premises and staff is working in the hostel next door to the reception. Have to buzz and wait for him as he is working in the hostel most of the time, even after reception opens after 10am. Takes a while to adapt to the room because there is no bedside light and power socket beside the bed.

This hostel is perfectly located in Lagos and was very pleasant! The terrace was nice and the private room we got had everything we needed but is not totaly private (very close to the terrace and people could hear us talk from the outside pretty well). The wifi was not really adequate (keeps shutting down). Everything else was up to our expectations.

It was very pleasant and relaxing. Staff was nice and did everything to meet our needs. Environment was calm and it was great to enjoy the pool and to take the breakfast on the balcony. This hotel is 5 minutes walk from the beach and is situed near Punta de Piedade, wich is one of the most beautiful scenery I have ever seen. You can also rent motorbike or bycicle to di...

enjoyed the stay here, was good to stay away from the bar area which gets a bit hectic. real close to the beach, however it's up on top of a cliff, which you can walk down or take a stroll down a hill in the other direction. nice pool, only a few apartments to not too many people. 30 - 40 min walk into town, or a cheap cab ride. way too many aussies in lagos fo...

We went there to spend one week in Lagos for our holidays, despite some bad reviews we can say that the place was clean enough and the people who work in this hostel were amazing, all kind person that offer us free wine during the evening and share their stories with us. We spend a really good time there, highly recommended.

the hotel is excellent. it is newly built, with wide space, huge balcony and nice view to the area/sea. everything is new and clean, the staff is friendly. the kitchen is fully furnished, we cooked there and enjoyed the dinner and the nice view in the balcony. the hotel is just 100m (linear distance) to the beach and there are lots of restaurants/bars along the beach. ...

We only stayed here one night, and didn't have time to go see the pool, but from what we did experience this was a lovely place to stay with nice conditions. It is a bit far from the city center ~20 minutes walk, but it is an easy walk with nice views. The pool looked nice from the outside :) Also the staff was very nice and helpful.

I really enjoyed the stay even though it was only one night. The apartment is located at a great central spot, close to the centre and the beaches. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the apartment itself was nicely furnished and equipped. guarded parking lot just around the corner. Would definitely stay here again when in Lagos!

Great location - easy walking distance to beaches, small supermarkets and places to eat; nightlife almost on doorstep but far enough away that you aren't too affected by noise in the early hours; 10 - 15 min walk from main bus station; 15 - 20 mins walk to train station. Staff extremely welcoming. Good access to facilities within hostel including washing machine and t...

Booked one, and ended up booking a second night. It was a great hostel, with great people running it. My roommate was an Aussie that had been there a few weeks. I rented a scooter around the corner and went on a day trip to the end of the old world. There are beaches everywhere, and hiking is a good option too. There were no where near enough bathrooms, one per floor with up 16 people. The bathrooms had lots of things broken including no toilet seat. The room was clean but noisy next to the road and with a dorm room on the same floor. The kitchen had 4 stoves which would not work of other appliances were in use. The staff were good and helpful.

This is literally someone's house where they rent out rooms to visitors. Our room had a kitchenette and a slow draining shower (which they quickly fixed). It was a stone's throw away from the central area, parking was accessible, close to the ferry to take you to the beach.

No lobby, no breakfast room, no restaurant, reception closes in the evening. Appointment for breakfast. Ours was at 10am only possible. Sundays no rolls, but burnt bread. Saturday the breakfast was ok. English spoke as well as German and Portuguese of course. Romantic weekend booked, but extremely small singe beds do not create any warm feelings.

After almost two weeks of touring Spain and Portugal we looked forward to our down time in lagos. The setting of the hotel is postcard beautiful with the gardens and lawn on a cliff overlooking the ocean. We thought the staff was lovely and caring. My criticisms were there were no spa services on either Sun or Mon which I was so looking forward to and had never encountere...

Hote is really nice. It has an antique feeling with statues around the pool. Breakfast is buffet. This was probably the nicest place that we stayed in our entire 9 day Spain/Portugal trip. The bedrooms were clean and well equipped; there was always hot water.
