"The Zuela Guesthouse and Restaurant is probably the best place to stay in Luang Namtha, it is very conveniently located in an small alley a few steps from the main road almost in front of the Night Market. It's location helps to keep it really quiet while still having a very good central location. The restaurant is very good, serving really generous breakfasts and good food at convenient prices, almost comparable to street food prices, but with a much better quality. The hamburger is a real western hamburger, which is not common in south-east Asia. The service by its owner could be rated easily rated number 1 on speed, attention and taking care of its customers. The place also offers the convenience of renting bikes and motorbikes. The rooms are spacious and confortable, but water pressure in the shower is very low (we have found this problem in other places in Asia)."

"We stayed here for 3 nights and couldn't really fault it. It is definitely still under construction, so I feel that once it is finished it will be a semi luxury place in Luang Namtha. Large spacious room. Wifi didn't work in our first room which was at the end of the corridor, so they moved us right away to another room closer to the lobby and the wifi worked much better in here (although still not great). Good location just 3 minutes walk from the Main Street. It was clean. Little pack with toothbrush, toothpaste and comb was in the bathroom but no shower gel or soap. Could have done with one of the dispensers on the wall. Overall we enjoyed our stay. "
