Lugano hotels & places to stay

The hotel and the room is very good. The location is just next to the Mont. St. Salvarto and the train station of Lugano Paradiso, 3 mins walk to the Lugano lake and 15 mins to the old town. The staff there were very friendly and they can speak several languages. My room has a balcony facing the mountain, quite and very comfortable.

This my 3rd time staying here.I ve always wanted to try all the hotels in lugano but just couldnt resist comin back here. Staff are so friendly n cheerful ,generous as they offer free minibar,chocolates here n there. Breakfast wth freshly squeeze orange or carrot juice n so much choices frm starter to dessert. We had a nice stay in Lugano The hotel was fine for the summe warm fall. It's not cozy. The manager was not friendly and the friendly and kind staff are overworked and under paid.

If you looking for budget stay at Lugano you may considering this Ibis Budget Lugano which you might mistaken with the next door Ibis Lugano ( without the Budget word ). Both actually in different building sharing same lobby. That's why if you looking just for a budget and simple overnight just go for Ibis Budget Lugano.

The staff was great, hotel is nice but it is in need of a renovation. Specially the room that has a decor and furniture like it got stuck in the 90's. Breakfast was great and we had a pleasant stay. Lugano is expensive so the hotel is fairly priced. I would recommend this hotel unless you only stay at modern hotels with minimalist designs.

Hotel was clean and new, value for money. There is a gym and a small pool for a quick work out. One problem was the slope leading up the the old Lugano paradiso train station. We go there for honeymoon. Big and comfortable room with excellent sea view. Nice staff. Need to take bus from train station. Actually can walk from Lugano Paradiso station ~5mins. Highly recommended this hotel in such price

The hotel is very good and centrally located. it has is own parking space so good for travellers arriving by car! It is close to the bus station and shopping aera! The location is close to the railway station, about 15 minutes walking distance. When I first arrived, the room was not ready, the front desk lady asked me to come back after 3pm. The hotel is easy to reach from the railway station. From the hotel, it is a 10 min walk to the old town and 10 min to to mountain San Salvatore on the other side. Overall very enjoyable with fast internet easy access to supermarket and casino. Great Lake view. Easy access to public transport. Big room. Ambrella provided. Shuttle to train station. It is very difficult writing 50 characters on one hotel. This is the main reason I don't like writing reviews.

We have booked this hotel to participate at a birthday party in Morcote. The room was great with lake view. It was clean and the people very friendly. The breakfast was served at the table again with lake-view and the breadbasket served by the kitchen. I can only recommend this place.
