"From my understanding the only reason anyone would stay in Lumajang is because they're travelling to Tumpak Sewu waterfalls. While Hotel Prima is probably the most decent hotel you can find in Lumajang, the quality of the place is really poor. The rooms were super old, bed was dirty, floor was full of ants, and there was no hot water. Only positives were the helpful staff. You will be better off staying in homestays near Tumpak Sewu than at Hotel Prima. Some homestays in Tumpak Sewu are quite new and clean i.e. Anugerag Tumpak Sewu, and will save you travel time. Avoid Hotel Prima because it really isn't worth it. "
