Something of the Far East’s Las Vegas, Macau is a small, densely populated region best known for its casinos. The city’s previous occupation by the Portuguese and the Chinese influence has left its mark with an eclectic mix of architecture, Chinese temples, high rises, and 17th century cathedral ruins.
