"Location wise this hotel is the best on Maafushi island and they have the best Infinity pool on the rooftop. Very professional staff, very clean and new building. They provide great and fun activities and excursions with very reasonable prices, special thanks for the Italian lady responsible for the excursions, doing activities with her were a great experience. The hotel manager Mr. Ibrahim is very professional and always around to check guests satisfaction, he makes you feel like you are staying at your home. Mr. Visham the housekeeping manager and his staff are doing a great in keeping the hotel always perfectly clean. I would like to note as well the outstanding service of Abdulkadir in serving the breakfast with a big smile each morning."

"Just returned from 9 days at this island resort. This is a very well run efficient resort. We did not have all inclusive as we prefer to eat in the other 4 restaurants. The staff here are delightful, very helpful and friendly. We did a few excursions, Manta ray snorkel where we saw lots of Mantas, another snorkel trip and the sunset dolphin cruise. Drinks are very expensive as they are on all the Maldive islands. The house reef is spectacular, lots of sea life including black tip reef sharks and sting rays and lots of colourful fish. The sea is turquoise warm and clear. Would definitely recommend."

"Meeru Island considered one of the biggest Islands in Maldives. The Jetty entrance and reception area is flat and specious with scattered tall coconut trees within bigger area of surface, creating nice and joyful atmosphere and pleasant sea breeze under the shadow. The restaurants and bars are well decorated and maintained with nice and comfortable tables, sofas and cushions, floored with wet soft sands, high ceilings and the major sides are opened to circulate cool breeze. My booking was for “Water Villa”, Full Board, which has been upgraded to All Inclusive. The Water Villa in Meeru Island is unique in kind and does not exist within any other Resorts in Maldives. The Villa is exactly at the edge of sea water, where you get the feeling you are in both land and water at the same time. The Water Villa got two different level decks exists in the water, one of them got two relaxing seats and the second got two sun loungers in addition to two beach loungers beside the villa. During the high and low tides of water, the water reaches below the decks and allows the marine creatures to be roaming in front of the Water Villa. The best area for swimming and snorkeling in Meeru Island Resort is in front of the Water Villas area, where there is soft sand, clear water and exciting views. Being you are accommodated at Water Villas, this adds more enjoyment to your beach swimming and other activities. . The only short fall in the Resort which is available of most of Resorts in Maldives is not availability of extended decks of restaurants and bars over the water. My stay at Meeru Island Resort was fantastic and memorable and definitely I would recommend strongly to stay at “Water Villa” for real enjoyment and feeling as you are in paradise. "

"The hotel is just open after Maldives reopening despite the covid pandemic . The staff is very friendly and trying their best you to feel holiday spirit. Facilities are clean, new and working. What seems a bit strange is lack of trees on the island, may be due to recently finished construction. But the new trees are planted and I believe that in one year it will be wonderful place."

"SummaVilla guesthouse is a fantastic guesthouse on the local island of Maafushi (south of Male). Maafushi presents a local, authentic and affordable experience while in the beautiful island chain of the Maldives. The exceptionally friendly and helpful owners and staff of SummerVilla are locals on the island who have their family homes close to the guesthouse. We felt they genuinley cared about during our two week stay whilst exploring Maafushi and its surrounding islands. The service, food, cleanliness of rooms and attention to detail were outstanding for accommodation in this price range. We can highly recommend this guesthouse and will definitely be returning. Thankyou Nassim and family!"

"cheap price for an awesome four star hotel experience looking for the best but cheap accomodation with excellent service? this hotel is for you! Arena Beach Hotel. Tip 1. Book on Low Seasons to get half price deals. We even got upgraded to a Sea View Room! Just ask if they are available. Best eat all you can breakfast! Book a room with freew breakfast and you wont regret it. Tip 2. Who says going to Maldives is expensive? we have our Snorkeling, Turtle watching, Wale Watching, and Sandbar experience with Free Lunch for only $25. They have evening dinner by the beach for only $15 (eat all you can experience) unli pasta unli barbecue and so much more! Tip 3. Hotel transfers are only $50 two way (shared speedboat). When you land at the Male Airport there is a free call or free telephone to call anywhere in maldives as long as it is landline. it is located at the information assistance booth. Tip 4. there is nothing much to do in Hulhumale so i recommend to go directly in maafushi. maafushi is one of the nearest and cheapest island in maledives. outside arena beach hotel has a public beach where you can enjoy ur bikinis! and mingle with other tourists! questions? richangelo168 instagrm"

"I'm very particular about place I stay and as usual, I went through every hotel listed in Agoda that falls under my budget (USD 200 per night). After comparing review rating from different websites, comparing actual price including transfer charge, checking out official website and going through numerous user photos, I decided to book this resort - Deluxe Room as total cost was comparatively affordable (low room charge balances out high transfer charge) for the quality of resort and available facilities provided. While I was excited about variety of dining option & facilities, I was skeptical about the room as it didn't seem so modern & bright in the pictures. But I wasn't left with any other option that meets all my needs. It turns out I worried for nothing. 1) Transfer process happened smoothly 2) Room was neat & clean & cool 3) Enough activities were offered among which I chose beginner's scuba diving course for the cost of USD 480 / 2 persons 4) Great beaches & relaxing sunbeds - One side of the island is lively with enough of reefs & waves - The other side of the island is deadly quiet and lets you swim or read with peace of mind 5) Good food & beverage (must try seafood pizza & classic mojito) 6) Great ambience of different themed dining areas 7) Last but not the least, great and friendly staffs that make you smile till the moment of departure If I must list out bads : 1) Island is a bit far (45 minutes) from the airport 2) Transfer charge was more expensive than what was mentioned in Agoda (which I expected) 3) Goods being sold in shops are pretty expensive (USD 40 for a sunscreen lotion, which I also expected out of every Maldives resort) 4) Bathroom was smelling like urine (this can be actual improvement point that hotel should look into) So overall, I'm very very satified and I had heavenly time at this place. Thanks for helping me making flawlessly dreamy vacation!!! * Note : Deluxe Plus Rooms are same as Deluxe Rooms but built newly. "

"About the Hotel - Clean & Comfortable: They clean our room everyday, well ventilated with pleasant smell. - Friendly Staff: Keen for help whenever you need any assistance. Casual and neat uniform present a relax and island feeling of the hotel image. - View: Staying at the 2nd storey with sea view balcony. It's nice but obstructed by coconut tree - Facilities: Free rental of bicycle, snorkeling gear, beach towel. Nice rooftop sundeck view and seat. Can use the swimming pool at another Kaani branch hotel (few minutes walking distance away) - Disadvantage: Slightly poor sound insulation, but overall it's is acceptable unless you meet the guest who are shouting. xD About the Location - It's cheap to arrive, but it takes 1.5 hour to the island of this hotel from Male, unless taken with speedboat which is only 0.5 hour - Nice sea colour as where you see in other Maldives island. But the shore got lots of tiny stone which you have to walk through before go further - There are other nearby private islands can be visited with the excursion provided by the hotel (with reasonable price). - Nice locals and feel safe to walk around the island. - Restaurant nearby the hotel Overall, I strongly recommend those who are coming Maldives with constraint budget, and here is one of the best choice. "I loved my stay at Hurawalhi! Beautiful new property. This resort should be competing at a much higher pricepoint given the quality of the rooms, the beauty of the island, the friendly staff, the great dining/drink options, and the overall excellent experience. Arrival by seaplane you land a couple hundred meters from the island and pull up to a floating dock. You deplane, and are standing on the dock surrounded by the most beautiful blue water lagoon. Incredible first impression. -Check in was quick and efficient -Rooms were exquisite - beautiful clean design, well furnished, very comfortable bed and linens, and spectacular views. Neighbors are closeby as rooms aren't terribly spaced out, but rarely did I hear them. Sound construction with thick walls. A+ for high speed ceiling fans inside and outside, as well as AC (which turns off automatically when you open your outside doors). There are no bathtubs in room which might turn away some people - as an eco-friendly resort, I respect this decision. If you want a bath most rooms are either overwater or steps away from the ocean (or your pool)! - Resort Amenities: Even at 100% occupancy, it felt empty. Most people are either staying in the rooms with their private decks (and pool), on excursions, or eating/drinking at the bar or restaurants. Never did it feel 'crowded'. - Meals: the food buffet is really diverse and delicious. Highly recommend the full package for food/drink as it is a great value. - Private Sandbank Island: you could kayak or swim there, but it is highly frowned upon as they reserve the sandbank for guests. You can do the lunch buffet which is 2hrs and $150, OR get dropped off there for up to two hours for photography for $50 (without food/drink included). Highly recommend as the experience there was surreal without a soul in site with the clearest water surrounding you. Looking forward to heading back to the Maldives next year - really hoping Hurawalhi stays roughly the same price-- if so I might "
