"i was checked in at the 25th july (at the afternoon) and stayed for 3 night at this hotel. i only have 2 days full to explore maldives are thursday and friday, saturday on the 28th i left to the airport at 7.30. well anyway after checked in, i booked 2 packages, one day snorkeling + island hoping and one day tour to resort. first problem, there was one guy whos working at the hotel and he really unpolite, never smiles or just say hello and just ruin all my schedule, all the packages that i booked with him. he just gave me bad experiences while staying there. for my first trip to island hoping and snorkeling was messed up, he didnt call me in my room after im waiting (because this guy didnt know that my first day actually for snorkeling and island hoping but he brought me to the office for the resort, it because he nanager didnt tells him, so stupid communications. thats why we were so early, because he tought im going to the resort) and so after im lated for 45minutes. im in my room waiting and he didnt make a call and he blamed me and says i was slept (stupid) and after he sent me to join another snorkeling trip that only half day without island hoping and the bad thing they didnt give my money back from $45 full day to Half day that cost $25. so i have $20 in this hotel. well noted this is my first trip. and it was the time i just tried to be calm because it was my first day and my first time in maldives. okey now the second day that also my last day in maldive, after i booked a full day trip to the resort, the hotel sent me to another resort that i didnt booked and i get back to the hotel without any solutions from the hotel (the guy and his manager just doing nothing) they "dint care at all" with our situation and condition as a guest, i paid all the packaged but they didnt organized us well, they just take the money. they have zero responsibles of us, they only know just arguing or fights back with their stupid thoughts. and after all i asked my money back ($10"

"cheap price for an awesome four star hotel experience looking for the best but cheap accomodation with excellent service? this hotel is for you! Arena Beach Hotel. Tip 1. Book on Low Seasons to get half price deals. We even got upgraded to a Sea View Room! Just ask if they are available. Best eat all you can breakfast! Book a room with freew breakfast and you wont regret it. Tip 2. Who says going to Maldives is expensive? we have our Snorkeling, Turtle watching, Wale Watching, and Sandbar experience with Free Lunch for only $25. They have evening dinner by the beach for only $15 (eat all you can experience) unli pasta unli barbecue and so much more! Tip 3. Hotel transfers are only $50 two way (shared speedboat). "I'm very particular about place I stay and as usual, I went through every hotel listed in Agoda that falls under my budget (USD 200 per night). After comparing review rating from different websites, comparing actual price including transfer charge, checking out official website and going through numerous user photos, I decided to book this resort - Deluxe Room as total cost was comparatively affordable (low room charge balances out high transfer charge) for the quality of resort and available facilities provided. While I was excited about variety of dining option & facilities, I was skeptical about the room as it didn't seem so modern & bright in the pictures. But I wasn't left with any other option that meets all my needs. It turns out I worried for nothing. 1) Transfer process happened smoothly 2) Room was neat & clean & cool 3) Enough activities were offered among which I chose beginner's scuba diving course for the cost of USD 480 / 2 persons 4) Great beaches & relaxing sunbeds - One side of the island is lively with enough of reefs & waves - The other side of the island is deadly quiet and lets you swim or read with peace of mind 5) Good food & beverage (must try seafood pizza & classic mojito) 6) Great ambience of different themed dining areas 7) Last but not the least, great and friendly staffs that make you smile till the moment of departure If I must list out bads : 1) Island is a bit far (45 minutes) from the airport 2) Transfer charge was more expensive than what was mentioned in Agoda (which I expected) 3) Goods being sold in shops are pretty expensive (USD 40 for a sunscreen lotion, which I also expected out of every Maldives resort) 4) Bathroom was smelling like urine (this can be actual improvement point that hotel should look into) So overall, I'm very very satified and I had heavenly time at this place. Thanks for helping me making flawlessly dreamy vacation!!! * Note : Deluxe Plus Rooms are same as Deluxe Rooms but built newly. "

"SummaVilla guesthouse is a fantastic guesthouse on the local island of Maafushi (south of Male). Maafushi presents a local, authentic and affordable experience while in the beautiful island chain of the Maldives. The exceptionally friendly and helpful owners and staff of SummerVilla are locals on the island who have their family homes close to the guesthouse. We felt they genuinley cared about during our two week stay whilst exploring Maafushi and its surrounding islands. The service, food, cleanliness of rooms and attention to detail were outstanding for accommodation in this price range. We can highly recommend this guesthouse and will definitely be returning. Thankyou Nassim and family!"

"They were waiting for us when we got to the AP. the ride on the sea plane was so much fun, the view of all the little island was breathtaking. Then we got to our little island. OMG wss this place BEAUTIFUL. The staff was AMAZING from checking in to checking out. We had the water villa. I cant even explain you have to see this place for yourself. The room is BEAUTIFUL. Modern, hip, classy. We slept outside under the stars, lots of fishes, all different colours and sizes, even sharks. (They don't bite) you had your own aquarium to wake up to.i could go on and on about this place. I would DEFINITELY go again, and would recommend the Drift to EVERYONE. Special thanks to Ibrahim at reception he was a delight, Aminath at reservation kept in touch with us ever step of the way. "Extremely pleasant stay! The friendliest people on the island of Maldives. Food was awesome and cheap as compared to other places. Recommend upgrading to half board / full board. Rooms were 4-star standard. This is the only hotel in Maafushi which has a swimming pool and spa. The spa therapist was a nice lady who did a great massage. The hotel also arranged cheap excursions for us to other resort islands and other activities. Loved the stay overall! Decided to extend one night as well."

"Agoda booking engines itself is excellent ! Even after I need to change my booking date and couldn't get it done on my original booking, Agoda still refund my administration fees after I cancelled my original booking and booked another hotel in Maldives with Agoda. The arrangement between Agoda and the hotel also are excellent. There was some miscommunication on my arrival date which resulted that I have to spent my time at the airport from 0100hrs until 0800hrs, I'm still satisfied with way the agent at the airport handled me after I approached them after the open the booth at 0800hrs in the morning. When the boat were approching Kurumba, I already amazed with what I've seen. The view was so amazing ! The Guest Relations Officer also was very friendly when welcoming us to Kurumba. While waiting to complete the registration, we we served with the welcoming drinks in a very cosy waiting lounge. I will definately return to Kurumba again, and this time, with all my kids ! Thank you Agoda. Thank you Kurumba ! "

"First of all I’m a Solo Travel who went to Maldives even I’m aware that it is a Couples Paradise. I still pushed through with this trip because all I care is just to have a Good Island Experience especially in a group of islands in Maldives. + I found Malahini to have a Good Island Accommodation Deal compared to those Luxurious Islands. They have Speed Boat waiting for you when you arrive at the MLE Airport. The access from the arrivals to the boat was just across the arrival exit. - (though I waited for another guest for almost an hour which made me a bit pissed) but its ok. They welcome you in their Lobby with their Special drink with Cold Towel. You’ll have to pay separately for the Speedboat Going and Going back upon arrival . So just have it ready. The Staff are so Nice from Check in to Room Clerk, Baristas in Azul (their island bar) to their Waiters in the Maaga Restaurant. I didn’t even feel so alone at all. Beautiful small Island. I’ll come back for sure."

"The staff didn't greet us from the jetty, we need to walk our way to the hotel. We travel with other couple (they on their honeymoon) and they stayed at different hotel (next to our hotel). The hotel that they stayed have a representative waiting at the jetty. Luckily, we can shared the trolley to put our bags (huge bag trolley, only staff push the trolley). The staff even send our bag to our hotel. Very nice of him. The hotel is walking distance to the jetty (about 3 mnts walked). Good for people who doesn't like to walk much as there's no public transport in the island. You have to walk to everywhere. We booked a room with balcony (sea view) and we are very happy with the room and the view. The room is spacious. Breakfast is good even not much selection. Very nice Maldivian menu. We've got free one activity that we can choose from (kayaking/surfing). Highly recommended for people who doesn't like to walk much and value for money."
