City of Dreams - Nobu Hotel Manila
Manila Bay,Manila - View on map
"My husband and I stayed in Nobu, Manila, Philippines for a couple of nights. We had a fantastic experience from the start. The check-in is a breeze, the front desk and concierge team made us feel at home and special. The staff from housekeeping to their management/administration team made sure that our first time in their hotel would be memorable. I highly recommend Nobu, Manila, Philippines to those who wish to stay within the city. Additionally, the facility is very close to the Ninoy Aquino International Airport. The concierge was happy enough to schedule a Grab car service for my husband and I. Come home to Nobu, Manila, Philippines. We will definitely return. "

"this hotel gives very good value to its customers .the rooms are very clean and comfortable, and the service is very prompt if you find anything not quite right. the staff are very friendly and helpful , you only have to ask , and it is attended to right away .i have stayed there many times , and i would highly recommend staying there to anyone . there are good and bad hotels in manila, but book this one and you will not have any regrets . take it from a fussy Englishman. i travel all over the world , and this hotel gives very good value . i am more than happy to stay there whenever i go to manila . just one thing though , don't use the hotel taxi , it's expensive . Valero Grand Suites by Swiss-Belhotel
Makati,Manila - View on map
"To start with the minor inconveniences. The shower in our room seemed to be pulled of the wall and the knob for changing between main- and handshower seemed to be stuck. Also watertemperture, even when running longer, changed from hot to cold and vice-versa often. In the hallway and the room there was a funny smell. What we really liked about the hotel was the location in the CBD of Makati. Super convenient. We chose this hotel primarily because of its location, but were surprised about the luxury look it had. Room felt like a condo, it had an own kitchen complete with flatware and cutlery. Many thanks to the very accommodating security staff Erwin. When looking for a hotel in Manila again this sure will be it. "

"Staff is top notch and the private car service is very easy and fast to use and also very affordable. Decent free breakfast starting at 5AM which is handy for early flight schedules. The nice old building has cool green marble and does not smell funky like many Manila hotels. "

Kabayan Hotel Pasay

"I am processing my papers in Manila so the location was excellent whenever I go somewhere. Airport distance is 20-30 minutes travel. MRT/LRT station is just across. Transportation access is everywhere. You can also ask directions from the staff if you're not sure. The food was great, they serve Filipino foods, you can dine in at the hotel they offer a set meal at a very reasonable price. I love their coffee. There is also a Mall beside the hotel. The room that I've got (Pad Solo) really fits in my basic needs. Airconditioned room, tv, bathroom with hot and cold shower and toiletries with breakfast included. I want to try their Capsule bed but I have so much stuff with me that I think won't fit in their Capsule Room Locker. Staff were very nice also. I'll be considering staying in Kabayan Hotel again next time I need a room to stay in Manila."

City Garden Suites Hotel
Ermita,Manila - View on map
"We have stayed in a standard room during October. Room was nice, clean and well maintained. TV is old but has dissent channel selection. So for Standard room is actually was nice. Our room was located near the elevator, but we could not hear it. On the downside, for me, I can mention only air-conditioning which was really freezing even at low fan and 24deg. WiFi is relatively fast to what I have seen in Philippines. In the lobby with good signal strength I was able download at 0.17Mbps. Breakfast is Filipino style with western touch like eggs, bacon, cereals, milk, juices. Location is probably good, why probably? because at night we were suggested not to go out. But there are embassies near by and other good hotels. I think in general in Manila, if you are foreigner, it is better to use taxi from point to point and not walk the streets. Taxi drivers always locked the doors and sometimes asked not to open windows... If you can, leave Manila for the end for your trip and don't spend much time there. Philippines have much more to offer outside metro Manila. So overall price was good, service ok and location not so bad"

Okada Manila

"My best stay ever. I have tried hotels in Manila and in Europe, Okada provided the best service. The amenities are amazing. The staff are welcoming. I booked 2 deluxe rooms and one of our rooms got upgraded to the executive suite for the sole reason that it was our first time. Uh-mazing! right? The breakfast buffet did not disappoint as well! "

Savoy Hotel Manila

"Stayed in this hotel for three times already, and I will definitely come back again . The location is good, just across NAIA terminal 3 (they provide a free shuttle bus every hour from the airport to the hotel. You can find the buses at the arrival gate at the ground floor of the airport). There are some restaurants around the area, spa, nail salons, dental clinic, pharmacy store, laundry shop , walking distance to resorts world wherein there’s also a small shopping mall, there is a near supermarket as well. The breakfast buffet is good, and you won’t get sick of the options because everyday they change the choices. The staffs were also amazing! I left my watch in the room during my first stay and they notified me and gave it back. On my third stay, I asked my mom to wait for me at the hotel since I’ll only arrive in the Philippines after a very long flight and they assisted my mom and allowed her to check-in early while waiting for me to land in Manila. Every time I go back to Manila, I choose this hotel and I highly recommend it. "

Regency Grand Suites
Malate,Manila - View on map
"My Filipina girlfriend and I decided to book 6days in the Regency Grand Suite and hoped it would be perfect for my last weeks stay in the Philippines. We were NOT dissappointed! We were greeted by the friendlest receptionist called Joseph who did everything for us from check us in to fixing the WIFI connection :) from there the stay in the hotel just got better. The location is perfect if you want to be central to Malate and it's right next to the mall. We stayed on the 32nd floor so obviously it was very quiet if you wanted to get away from the nightlife. The gym and the pool (very cold water ha) were great perfect to sit beside and relax. There are plenty of lovely Asian restaurants next to the hotel and the hotel is only short drive (100php) from Markati and the Fort. The room (a suite) was perfect it had plenty of power points (universal for 3pin plugs) a kitchen area with a microwave, kettle and fridge perfect for making snacks. The shower room was cozy and modern (don't forget to switch on the water heater) and after switching the water heater on the hot rain shower was wonderful. The view was magnificent from the 32nd floor balcony viewing out onto Manila bay and the cities beyond. The bed is huge but the space around the bed is limited but never the less its very cozy and perfect for me and my filipina girlfriend. The room also had a very modern flat screen TV with satelite channels such as HBO and PBO and other filipino channels. In short our stay in the Regency Grand Suites was wonderful and we shall most certainly be booking to stay here again on my next holiday. Special thanks to Joseph on reception who was amazing at getting us settled and was so attentive throughout our stay there. Many Thanks to all the team."
