Red Planet Manila Amorsolo - For Quarantine Stays
Makati,Manila - View on map
"As far as Manila goes this hotel is located in a fairly quite area, and in walking distance to Glorietta Mall, Green Bank, food, Restaurants, and Bars. Hard to fault the hotel really, good value for money, clean, great big shower head, with hot water! Climate control in rooms, TV, the staff were just great, polite and always ready to help, I think there 3 star rating is slightly underrated. Definitely be staying there again if i return to Makati, Manila"

Kabayan Hotel Pasay (Quarantine Only)
Pasay,Manila - View on map
"I am processing my papers in Manila so the location was excellent whenever I go somewhere. Airport distance is 20-30 minutes travel. MRT/LRT station is just across. Transportation access is everywhere. You can also ask directions from the staff if you're not sure. The food was great, they serve Filipino foods, you can dine in at the hotel they offer a set meal at a very reasonable price. I love their coffee. There is also a Mall beside the hotel. The room that I've got (Pad Solo) really fits in my basic needs. Airconditioned room, tv, bathroom with hot and cold shower and toiletries with breakfast included. I want to try their Capsule bed but I have so much stuff with me that I think won't fit in their Capsule Room Locker. Staff were very nice also. I'll be considering staying in Kabayan Hotel again next time I need a room to stay in Manila."

City Garden Hotel Makati (Quarantine Hotel)
Makati,Manila - View on map
"During my three-week-long stay in the Philippines I was travelling to different parts of the country but City Garden Hotel Makati was my base in Manila. I loved the two times that I stayed there, with the hotel's excellent staff from reception to restaurant to phone operator to housekeeping! They were all personable, efficient, and responsive to my needs. When I had a wifi problem in my room the first time I stayed there, they were quick to install an access point, and even offered to change my room if the problem had persisted. The second time I checked in, the hotel gave me a room upgrade to compensate for the wifi problem I had had on my first stay. I will definitely stay at City Garden on my next trip to Manila."

Regency Grand Suites
Malate,Manila - View on map
"My Filipina girlfriend and I decided to book 6days in the Regency Grand Suite and hoped it would be perfect for my last weeks stay in the Philippines. We were NOT dissappointed! We were greeted by the friendlest receptionist called Joseph who did everything for us from check us in to fixing the WIFI connection :) from there the stay in the hotel just got better. The location is perfect if you want to be central to Malate and it's right next to the mall. We stayed on the 32nd floor so obviously it was very quiet if you wanted to get away from the nightlife. The gym and the pool (very cold water ha) were great perfect to sit beside and relax. There are plenty of lovely Asian restaurants next to the hotel and the hotel is only short drive (100php) from Markati and the Fort. The room (a suite) was perfect it had plenty of power points (universal for 3pin plugs) a kitchen area with a microwave, kettle and fridge perfect for making snacks. The shower room was cozy and modern (don't forget to switch on the water heater) and after switching the water heater on the hot rain shower was wonderful. The view was magnificent from the 32nd floor balcony viewing out onto Manila bay and the cities beyond. The bed is huge but the space around the bed is limited but never the less its very cozy and perfect for me and my filipina girlfriend. The room also had a very modern flat screen TV with satelite channels such as HBO and PBO and other filipino channels. In short our stay in the Regency Grand Suites was wonderful and we shall most certainly be booking to stay here again on my next holiday. Special thanks to Joseph on reception who was amazing at getting us settled and was so attentive throughout our stay there. Many Thanks to all the team."

Valero Grand Suites by Swiss-Belhotel (Staycation Not Allowed)
Makati,Manila - View on map
"To start with the minor inconveniences. The shower in our room seemed to be pulled of the wall and the knob for changing between main- and handshower seemed to be stuck. Also watertemperture, even when running longer, changed from hot to cold and vice-versa often. In the hallway and the room there was a funny smell. What we really liked about the hotel was the location in the CBD of Makati. Super convenient. We chose this hotel primarily because of its location, but were surprised about the luxury look it had. Room felt like a condo, it had an own kitchen complete with flatware and cutlery. Many thanks to the very accommodating security staff Erwin. When looking for a hotel in Manila again this sure will be it. "

Dusit Thani Manila (Multiple-Use Hotel)
Makati,Manila - View on map
"My wife and I reside full time in the Philippines and therefore have stayed in many different hotels in Manila. This was the first time we had stayed in the Dusit Thani Manila Hotel and we were thoroughly impressed. From the welcome each time at the front door by "Gino" the Door Man as we arrived back from shoppimg to the help and support which was extended to us from the Concierge Department and the pleasant smiling faces of all the staff we were made to feel so welcome and were treated all the time as VIP guests. Well done Dusit Thani Manila Hotel! You have got our business from now on and we will be back to stay with you again real soon. Best regards and thank you."

Azumi Boutique Hotel
Alabang,Manila - View on map
"Booked Azumi for a weekend staycation with my boyfriend. He said it's the best hotel in Manila we've stayed at so far. Even before entering the lobby, the foyer already impressed us. There were fancy seats outside the lobby that looked perfect for chilling out over some cups of coffee. The lobby was impressive, with decor that made it obvious Azumi is a boutique hotel. The interior of the entire hotel, including the sky bar, the pool area, the lobby, the restaurant etc, was remarkable. Surely the designer didn't take this job for granted. The food in the restaurant also didn't disappoint -- Filipino cuisine done right. Another notable thing about Azumi is that the prices on their menu were surprisingly affordable. This includes the price of mini bar items, cocktails on the roof deck, and food in the restaurant. To give you an idea, they sell Sola Iced Tea in the mini bar for only 50 pesos. That's the same price 711 sells it for. Anyway, the sleeping room was also spacious and exactly how it is in their pictures. I looove the bed, the sheets were thick but really light. The AC was quiet but worked perfectly. The TV was our bestfriend throughout the weekend stay because we stayed in for a TV series marathon. And of course I have to mention the pool, which was really beautiful and picturesque. The staff kept the pool experience convenient. Towels were provided as soon as we stepped in. There were seats and tables that we used for drinks, and poolside mattresses for just hanging out by the pool. The view was marvelous. The only thing I didn't like was there was no bidet spray in the bathroom. This is a big deal for me so I couldn't just not mention it. Overall, kudos to Azumi Boutique Hotel's management and staff for putting up a reputable establishment that's nothing short of amazing. We had a great stay, we will definitely stay again and we will highly recommend Azumi to our family and friends."

F1 Hotel Manila
Bonifacio Global City (BGC) / Taguig,Manila - View on map
"The city of Taguig prides itself with the sobriquet 'probinsyudad' as it possesses the ambience and sophistication of a provincial city. The F1 Manila Hotel stands perfectly in Bonifacio Global City (BGC), a fast growing financial district in Taguig. If you do not want to travel far to enjoy a good rest and simply stay in the vicinity of the five cities of Manila, Makati, Mandaluyong, Taguig and Quezon City, and be pampered with the amenities that BGC offers, and if you just want to stay close to the airport, then F1 Manila Hotel is the hotel for you. It is walking distance to many of the major spots in BGC including the Bonifacio High Street and the Fort. The hotel has a swimming pool for kids and adults, a spa and gym, and a retaurant and coffee shop that offers many kinds of sumptuous food. The rooms have wifi, cable TV, safety deposit box and flat iron. They are quite comfortable, spacious, clean and modern while the bathroom is big enough to enjoy a hot shower. There are a few drawbacks - the elevators are quite small for a 20+ story building, five to six people will have to squeeze themselves. With this, you need to wait a while to get to your floor. And you need to learn how to use your card key in the elevator! There is no hair dryer in the room and this is a no-no for women. The swimming pool is only 4.5 feet deep, just sufficient for a short lap but the water is quite cold! We noticed that the main entrance of the hotel is closed so we have to enter through the back which is not too inviting for guests. The reception area in the fifth floor is also quite small and uninteresting. On the whole my familty enjoyed our stay in this hotel."

More about Manila

The capital of the Philippines, Manila is one of the busiest and most densely populated cities in South East Asia. The city is served by Ninoy Aquino International Airport, and travelers have a wide range of accommodations from which to choose with many options available near the airport, Pasay, and Manila Bay.

The commercial center of the city is Makati, where a wide array of restaurants and bars cater to practically any taste and offer everything from Chinese cuisine to American cheeseburgers. In the middle of the chaotic city are many parks to provide a respite to locals and travelers, with Rizal Park being the most iconic.

Another popular attraction in Manila is the 18th-century Fort Santiago in Intramuros, which was once a prison but has since been transformed into a park.

Commonly considered one of the better amusement parks in Manila, Enchanted Kingdom is perhaps the most popular destination for young adventurers. Separated into themed areas, the park features a great many rides, including one of the tallest rollercoasters in the world. With many exciting attractions, culture, and historic architecture, Manila is definitely a destination not to be missed.
