Looks like it's by far the most popular hostel in Marseilles, so you'll meet a lot of other travelers there. However, the particular room I was in (B6) had this shower with a tile floor that was falling apart. We stayed just two nights at this hotel. We arrived but reception was closed, then we realized we could check in using our booking number on a computer screen that was outside the door to reception. That was very handy I think. The location was hard to find but there was a big supermarket down the road which was handy.

This is actually not a hotel it is an appartment building. While you do get a kitchenette and a very new comforatable room at an affordable price they do not make up your room daily or have facilities like a hotel... Very good experience and we enjoyed it very much~ the reception was very friendly and very nice, they gave us all the instructions of the city and good places to view, and the hotel is very close to the old port of marseille. We like it very much and we will be back when we go to Marseille again.

we only had a one day stay in marseilles, so location was key. this place was just 2 metro stops or a manageable walk from the main train station. it's also walkable from here to the port and many interesting neighborhoods. the room itself was nothing special, but we have no complaints either. we would stay here again for the location and value.

This hotel is quite adequate for short stay over but it is located in a neighborhood that seemingly is almost abandoned. Not really near the train station it is best reached by Metro and then a good walk straight up hill to the hotel. We only stayed one night - we arrived late and left early - but this was a great hotel. It felt like a small apartment and had the most comfortable bed I have ever experienced. I would not hesitate to stay here again. We cannot really comment on the area, convenience etc.

We only stayed one night. There is road noise but it was not too bad. Restaurant meal was delicious and staff very pleasant and courteous.

This neighbourhood isn't the best, but it is near a Carrefour City, near the metro into town and has all the facilities (like kitchen, laundry, etc.) that you would need for a comfortable stay.

Stay was ok. Clean, breakfast reasonable . Hard to get to if you are not used to French driving and not familiar with roads. We booked here for parking but we did not read fine print at the bottom. Our Bo Bo . Parking in street was very hard to come by and during week you have to pay parking meters. Overall ok

No exhaust in bathroom, and no shower curtain, very hard to avoid getting the bathroom floor wet. Provided cute Marseille soap cube, shower gel, shampoo, and creme, took them as souvenirs. Quite nice, but be warned that there are 5 floors and no elevator.

Small comfortable boutique hotel of 30 rooms situated close to Le Major cathedral. Great access to the museums, the Vieux port and the Panier districts of Marseille. Cannot emphasis how good the staff were when we were taken ill especially the weekend receptionist who was wonderfully kind.

No warm water. I changed room because i had to wait 1hour for use warm water. How is this happening at the hotel? And the gas stove is too old. It does not work well. Hair dryer is available for rent only but when I went to rent hair dryer in the morning, the staff said another people borrowed the dryer so there was not anymore. The staff. Aproachable and helpful, good security. The whole building is rustic, maybe door ,into the garden, needs replacement However adds to the charm. Small touches would help ,if garden and sunbeds were cleaned every day. Love staying there Marsaille ibis

We had a good stay at Citadines. Room was big with the extension of the kitchenette. Toilet was split between the bathroom and toilet which was a good plus point. Very comfortable stay. Good location if you want to watch a late match as the stadium is nearby.

Location is excellent in which close to train and bus station, around 20 mins walk to the city center. Stayed for 3 nights and cooked every day, love the kitchen and it's very user friendly. Only picky thing was no hair dryer provided. Will definitely stay here again if I travel to Marseille. Helpful and sweet staff, thanks for making my stay fabulous ;)

Nice Apartment, but missing TV remote

Marseille... a wonderful city especially in the summer time. There were many hotel to choose from and we made our choice with this one because of a really good price. The hotel is very nice, the room is big enough. It is located not in the hart of a historic city and it takes a 10-15 min walk to the nearest metro station. Right off tram lines stop. Good price. Room size is small but clean and quiet. Staff speaks English well and they’re helpful. Gel disposals for hand wash and shower. There are two towels for 2 persons. Not paying for breakfast (14 euros per person)

This hotel is in an excellent location, only 5 minute walk to the vieux port where there are restaurants, shops everywhere and boats to take you to main attractions as well as buses. It's not the most opulent of hotels but for the price, it's a little gem. Great breakfast too.
