"A good hotel that is clean and friendly. We didn't have breakfast included and therefore didn't take breakfast, but you would have to order it from a menu, it's not a buffet. There are a limited number of loungers, but we didn't have a problem getting one. There is only a seawater "pool" that is concrete and rough under foot so not really good for any swimming, but just go to the beach next to the hotel which is nicer. Beware the prices of drinks doesn't include taxes and service, so that can add nearly a third to the cost. However against European prices the end price is still much cheaper., but dearer than elsewhere in Sri Lanka. Excellent bedroom,. Wifi hit and miss in rooms but Ok in downstairs areas. Go up the road to "The doctors" a great place for food, drink and atmosphere. Would I stay here again .... A definite YES ."

"We stayed at Turtle Eco House for one night as a group of 3 as we were travelling from Hirketiya to Weligama. The stay was absolutely fantastic and the staff at Turtle were very welcoming. We had a family room which was 2 double beds and was fantastic! Better than expected! The pool and sun lounger facilities are great and really beautiful. The staff were extremely attentive and every detail was taken care of. I also thought the dinner service and breakfast were fantastic! The best part was the proximity to the beach - just across the road, with a great restaurant/bar and a couple of other properties all along the same strip. We saw turtles whilst snorkelling literally right off the beach outside the hotel which was EPIC and made our trip! We also walked up to Polhena Beach and snorkelled there where we again, saw many many turtles! I'll definitely stay there again any time I travel in around that area of Sri Lanka. "

"The hotel is brand new hotel and only opened less then a year ago. It look exactly as it is shown on the pictures. Upon arrival we were greeted by Chirat and a special welcome drink made of fresh fruit. Throughout our stay he was very helpful and even helped organize things for me that he didn't strictly have to do however it made my life that much easier which I appreciated. The hotel is sparkly clean with a direct route from the property to the the cleanest nicest beach in Sri Lanka. It is also in an area which is not the main tourist beach therefore it is very quiet and peaceful. There is a restaurant in the hotel which serves yummy food at a reasonable price. Just know the food takes about an hour to get ready as they make the food fresh based on your order. Breakfast is really nice with a fresh fruit platter and you can choose Sri Lankan or Western breakfast. Over my experience was incredible and I would highly recommend the hotel. "
