Mecca hotels & accommodations

I stayed with my young kids for a night and had a great overall experience. Pros: Very helpful staff, prompt on addressing any complaint ( I had one, which was handled instantly), very clean and best wrt value for money.Despite of waiting for couple of hours, allowed to check in at 2:30 pm, which is I :30 hrs. earlier than their normal check - in timings. Cons: On the ...

Great hotel and close to mecca haram. But not sure I would book through agoda again. As you book 1 room but end up getting another. Although agoda will tell you to pay the extra and do the upgrade once ypur in the hotel its probably too late. If your credit card happens to decline they only tend to tell you on the day of check in. So make sure you have enough availa...

It can easily be the best for the price if following things are taken care of: 1. No of shuttles. 2 during the day and 1 at night is a low noumber considering the requirements around prayers' time. 2. Maintenance. A. checking in at 6 pm and still rooms were not fully ready.B. A/C control in one out of two rooms malfunctioning and required an hour with the technician...

Everything got fine in your hotel but one issue which annoyed me a lot. Our flight was at 11.05am from Jeddah. And we suppose to start within 6 to 6.30 am from hotel. I had request to cafe Manager to arrange our breakfast by packet for takeaway. But he deny. My old mother and my children was with me and it very embarrassing me for not to arrange breakfast in the depart...

This is one of the best hotel in Saudi Arabia. It was really pleasant surprise to see excellent behavior of a person in reception. Only issue is that they put the bed foot direction towards Kabaa and that should be mandatory for the hotels to set the bed not in the direction of Kabbaa

I would like to thank Agoda and ZamZam Pullman' staff for their kind help and understanding. We arrived earlier (around 11 am) with the kids and they were very nice and let us check in earlier. This is the best service I have ever had in Mecca. Next time I will definitely choose ZamZam Pullman.

The Hotel was very close to Haram, so there was no problem wake from/to haram, but the only problem would be the hill(mountain) that the hotel built on, like many areas in Mecca, it was hard in the walk back to the hotel, yet the hotel has more than six shuttle buses, driving from/to Haram, anytime you decide to come back from Haram or go to Haram, there is a bus waiti...

this is one of the best hotel I've stayed in makkah very close to Haram near the new extension. this is my 2nd stay in anjum and I must say both times the experience has been wonderful. the service provided by staff is outstanding. The staff are very caring . breakfast buffet is very good maybe on of the best, all the good served is made with care, unlike the makkah ...

Stayed three nights while performing Umrah. Very clean and modern facility. Did find an English speaking person in the check-in counter. Room was clean and nice with all the amnesties expected from a 4 star hotel. Daily cleaning was also available. Overall, everyone liked the hotel. Moderate 15 minutes walking distance from the Haraam. Last hundred yards or so to the ...

This is the best 5 star hotel I have stayed at in Makkah. It is modern and clean with a surprisingly good customer service (something very rare in Saudi Arabia!) -Very good breakfast -Beautiful prayer room/mosque overlooking the ka'bah. My wife really enjoyed praying here when she couldn't go to the haram because of our young children. -Also, children under 7 sta...

this hotel is definitely the best in mecca!!! we booked a gorgeous suite with a separate living room with dining table and a fantastic bathroom, and you can see the kaaba clearly from the window. it was an amazing experience! and every single detail in the hotel is superior starting from the decoration of the room, well selected colors, the size of the suite, bed, staf...

I was quite sceptical about the hotel as I had never been in Mecca. I had heard that the 5 star hotels within the vicinity of the masjid al haraam were just by name sake and that people were just paying extra for the location. In terms of Conrad, it had really taken me by surprise. It is by far, one of the best hotels that I have ever been to. The rooms was very clean ...

It make me feel home .., rooms are a bit narrow, but I wouldn't complain it , coz it only costs 20 bucks for a night. Even that tiny room , 2 mirrors inside birth room , 2 big mirrors bed room, including fully equipped mini kitchen. Provide towel , shampoo, razor, hair dryer an so on .. Aircon, Tv , prayer mat, tea , coffee and mineral water bottle. Overall, the ...

Alhamdulillah, this was my first umrah and definitely first time in the holy city of Mecca. We were in a group of seven and we were greeted with warm welcome at the entrance after approximately 2 hours journey from Jeddah (due to heavy traffic). We had one hiccup which 1 of three rooms booked from Agoda wasn't in their system. We checked in to the two rooms first. I wa...

The hotel were booked for a night just to try once during Ramadan on May 26, 2018! The buses from Hotel to Haram (Ghazza Parking) is an option but takes about 10 - 15 min. and return is 5 - 10 min. There was no Tea or Coffee and Water bottles in the room, upon asked several time they just provide few tea bags with sugar only. The kettle was leak and high risk of elect...

the makkah hilton towers is somewhat less flashy than its sister hotel, the makkah hilton and the different entry points was a bit confusing for first time pilgrims like us. towers reception area is located in the basement carpark whereas the latter is on the ground floor. we booked a tower family room for four nights in august this year through agoda. check in was qui...

I stay for 1 night here, i catch a very good price for the room, compare it's 4 star hotel, it was a brilliant price, this hotel not close to "Haram" you need at least 10 minutes by taxi or car to reach "Haram" but the hotel offer free transportation (BUS) going frequently to "Haram" every hour and 24 hour, which is great, bus will drop you in a point need to walk anot...

This is newly built 5 star hotel of Millennium Chain of Hotels. It has all facilities which you expect from any 5 star hotel. If you are coming to Makkah by car this hotel would be the best choice as it has free secured parking space for 200 cars. Per night rates are very less as compared to other 5 star hotels in Makkah and the reason is its location which is 2.3 kilo...

A wonderful experience true to its rating. The gem is the food varieties which redefines itself in Mecca. Indian dhosa, noodles and dim sum all are served at breakfast! Room service was good too esp the dum briyani I had. A gym is in place as well. Staff very friendly and helpful. The shopping mall below with Bin Dawood and the foodcourt adds to the convienience.

As soon as we arrived we were told that we have not made payment although we booked via agoda and paid, we were waiting around for 3 hours trying to deal with this at last we were told that they have received the paynent but due to checking in late we have to pay for one day, eventually we were given our rooms. Hotel is spacious, sehri is nice, location is about 4-5min...

PROS: - The price was great with these facilities - Though on Agoda it says that internet is only available in lobby but in fact internet is available in room too. - Bus/Shuttle service available from hotel to Haram. Very small wait time (less than 5 minutes) as they have multiple busses/shuttle available. CONS: - Hotel is not at walking distance from Haram. Also b...

This hotel is ideal for pilgrims who come to Mecca for performing Holy Hajj & Umrah. It is very close to Haram Sharif. Staffs are good, friendly but their elevator service is poor. Rooms are not clean up to the level with below standard facilities. People usually come to Mecca for Hajj & Umrah, so they do not much care about facilities & other daily logistic support fr...

When i want to check in,they said my name not in the list from agoda and when i want use hotel from hotel to call agoda, they dnt allowed it and ask me to call by myself. After everything settled, i can checkin. I book for 6 day n after 3 day,the hotel ask me to check out because they said i only booking for 3 day only. Again,i call agoda to solve this stupid problem.

Simply AWFUL staff! I am sure the owner invest very well in this hotel . but NOT on the staff . I reached to the hotel for check in desk hotel at 6 PM ( Yes , you have confirmed booking but you need to wait because there is no available room for you ) I wait for two hours to have my room only for my kids they are tiered from long trip . I booked for a room with (...

Hotel is good and clean, Staff is very polite and helpful, 12 minutes walk to Masjid Al Haram No buses on the way Taxi taking 5 to 10 sar to Masjid Mr. Shahid is very nice, polite and helpful man on counter, Shared kitchen, all rooms wifi but very slow, tea maker, cleanliness, free water for all over all very good hotel.

The staff did not know English so it was extremely difficult to communicate. The walk to the Haram was a mission going up and down a long steep hill. There was only one place to eat nearby which you had to run across the dual carriage to get too. The rest of the food places were around a 10 minutes walk. There was a grocery shop in a nearby hotel otherwise you also had...

Everything is excellent, the rooms are very clean and spacious, there is all you need inside (such as kettle, dishes, cooker, fridge, tv...), wi-fi signal in room is good, air condition is good, staff is very kind...There is a gorcery inside hotel... I booked hotel from 22/03/2018 until 24/03/2018. I already mentioned that i will arrive at 6am on 23/03/2018 but when i meet with receptionist. They informed us that there is no KEY available as you booked through online. You have to wait until 2pm. I had to stay until 10 am then they provide key after long discussion with management. Also shuttle service was not good ...

Had a really good stay, the room was clean, the aircon was working fine (remote control WAS provided), lifts, shuttle service to the haram was good (working 30 mins before each prayer), one thing that was quite annoying was the key to the hotel room would stop working, and would have to go all the way to reception to fix it, then all the way back up. Also, i was sittin...

I like this hotel a lot. Stayed here two times now. Will come back again. Quiet and peaceful area but near main roads and shops. Excellent value for money if you have your own transport. If not, the hotel does provide shuttle bus service quite frequently and taxis are also easily available.

Please tell your most reception staff to return salaam. never a single time I heard them returning salaam. not me alone but other Turkish customers were unhappy. salaam is the best greeting and covers everything one would expect from the reception. it is very ugly to maintain such people in the faces of clients.

The place had a good atmosphere and house keeping actually exists which is very rare in Makkah and Madinah. The staff was helpful. My room had 2 bathrooms and a separate sink and a small kitchen. The best thing is the hourly shuttle service to Haram (extra shuttles during prayer times). If you have 3 pin chargers make sure to bring your own adapters. My only complai...

Thanks to agoda for finding me this hotel...suhor was yam..room and hotel is nice but the staff they make the hotel excellent, well behaved well trained, restaurant manager Mr Mamun was very helpful and reception staf was very fast take only 2 to 4 minutes to check in and they extended my check out time by saying no problem. My parents stayed at Al JAAD MAHBAS HOTEL in June 20114, they enjoyed their stay, good location, the location is across the tunnel but it only takes 22 minutes bus ride to get to the Haram as you get the bus right outside the hotel. The bus vouchers are paid by Hotel. Hotel is clean, good room, cheap rooms, good staff, room service good, overall a good place to stay in...

Pros. 1 lift down to haram. Speakers relaying azaan n jamaat into rooms(can switch off) Large downstairs bedroom with 3 beds and 1 small cupboard. Internet was very good. Porters and cleaners very helpful. Daily room cleaning. Breakfast staff n restaurant manager very efficient. Cons Upstairs bedspace too small for 3 beds and no privacy as opens into downstairs living...

The Makarem Mina Hotel is nice and clean. In fact, the hotel is much nicer and cleaner than photos on their web site. I had a great pleasure at the front-counter at time of check in, Mr. AlAsaadi welcome us with the respect and friendly manner. All staff including Jawaid were friendly and took care of any items we needed. The price for the hotel is great, the only part...

i suppose to check in day time but reached late in night. Person at the reception told me to come in tomorrow morning now as system would not allow him to check although i showed him booking recipt everything. after about half an hour conversation he gave a room but no soup or shampoo etc in batbroom. AC was noisy. nothing seems right about it.

The room was extremely neat and new and enormous. Bathrooms were clean and well maintained. It has a shuttle service before and after namaz. The locality on the backside has laundry and grocery stores for any need. Except for a couple of times when water was delivered late when asked for, thr overall experience was super awesome and added to the fortunate journey of u...

the hotel are clean, nice and very convenience to go haram. the transportation from hotel to haram are easy access. we can also walk down the road to haram. easy access to find shopping area and eating place. rooms are very clean and nice for couple. staff are excellent and english speaking. will book again this hotel for future umrah.

Hotel is good and staff are very pleasant and helpful. Current construction right on its doorstep creates alot of noise and dust 24 hours. Walk to Haram is long, especially the uphill back. If you booking here, city view is recommended at this stage as it is less noise. Either improve your fitness for the walk to and fromthe Haram or be early enough before adhaan to ge...

location: 2.3km from haram along i. alkhalil rd. beside makkah tower hotel, across mesfala br. & before kudi traffic signal, beside arab bank + asia hospital, front of big kids playground garden, in-between i. alkhalil rd. + al hijiirah rd. shuttle bus: is not bad and serve 4 another sister hotels! at the same area. walking 20-30 min. is slight much more due to (wait...

adequate facilities and staff were professional unlike some we have encountered at more expensive hotels. Unfortunately due to the makkah ring road construction the bus service drops you off near ghaza/ marwa side then you have to walk quite a lot through safa/marwa before you find a prayer place. not advisable for the elderly. will definitely be booking again once r...

This hotel is generally good. Classed as a 5 star hotel, would say that it probably just meets those standards, in reality 4.5 stars Positives: Location is good easy walk to and from the Haram. Everything was extremely good starting from facilities, staff response, care, breakfast, to location. Though it is in aziziya shumali, hotel has regular schedule for buses that is provided to guests. An amazing hotel. Just book the hotel and you will feel that you have booked yourself a room in paradise. Well to be honest I didn’t expect that best hotel and service . I stayed on 28th floor . The rooms are great and the toilet are extra ordinary . The cleaning is massive and the breakfast is out of this planet .i was there for 4 days and I came to Madina I want to go for a night to Mecca again and then go to jedha and then to u.k . I will stay again there on my arrival....

Went to mecca several times. This is the best hotel so far. I had onley one problem during my stay. I had my mother with me. She is very old on wheelchairs and the hotel is located over a hell. There was bus shuttle but the bus was too hight and difficult to ride for old people.

My family and I had a lovely stay at this hotel. we have been to Saudi Arabia a lot of times and the service leaves a lot to be desired. This time was different, there was a problem with payment from our travel co-ordinator but reservation staff especially Fayaaz Ahmed, went out of their way to assist our travel co-ordinator to sort this out and get us checked in as so...

room was nice and clean, receptionists and room service staff were friendly as well as security men, i just had some problem with (some) of the restaurant waiters at the hotel, they are unprofessional, i had 2 meals there and in both meals i faced bad experiences, hope the management will take that in consideration, of course some of them were good and friendly too, ov...

Close to Haram, walking distance to the bus station to the Miqat. Unmetered taxi can be accessed behind the hotel if you want to go back to Jeddah or Madina.
you must try to get on Jabal Nur's top (Gua Hira). it is better if you try to go there on Ramadhan season.
no one can tell anything about Mecca / Makkah in simple worlds it is a place when you leave it you will start miss it and think when will you visit it again
place is not that clean as there are thousands of people visiting the palace on daily basis. so in short it is ok .
Senior hotel is situated close to the campus in the clock tower there in the hotel rooms and suites overlooking the Haram and the Kaaba and close to the commercial market.
You only visit makkah to do the Ummrah or Hajj and leave. Shopping is expenive there and nothing to do there beside the ummrah or hajj.
Makkah is the beautiful place where all Muslim will come to perform their Hajj and Umrah and also to get bless for ALLAH the Almighty.
Apart from its world holy religious place, Mecca in general needs a lot of development with regard to proper roads & transport, public services, quality hotels, local discipline and attitude.
Mecca, known to the Muslim faithful as Umm al-Qura, the Mother of Cities, is the holiest place in the Islamic world.
We stayed in this hotel for a Umra trip, great hotel excellent service and friendly staff specially room service and reception is remarkable.
best place to go Mecca/Makkah to travel religious people because all places are very near and working distance.
It is a city surrounded by mountains. It has Almasjid Alhram where Moslims get more credits / merits for visiting and performing prayers.
This is a holy city for Muslims for their religious pilgrimage. Every Muslim wishes to be here at least once in their lifetime.
It's the place which was loved by our Prophet Mohammed Sallahu Alaihi Wasallam. It's the place which was selected by Allah swt for the worship of the creator by its best of creation.
Makkah is the city center if the Islamic and world. Muslims are going there for pra, perform Haj and Omrah.
Jeddah to Makkah (haram) private cabs charge SR 250 also sharing cabs might be in a range of SR 50 to 100.
it's better to go there in cold weather and low season, because if it crowded you will have hard time to do many things.
