"In the very heart of Meran/Merano, under the arches of via Portici, an inconspicuous elevator take you to City Apartments Portico. It did take some finding, but we were rewarded with welcoming hosts, a clean room with kitchen facilities (and fresh coffee), a simple bathroom and comfortable bed. If you are coming to Meran for the first time, it would be difficult to fi d a better location. They even arranged parking immediately behind the hotel, which was fantastic. I will certainly return."
