Minneapolis (MN) hotels & accommodations

Had to drive around the block a few times to locate hotel as the Marquette signage is not large enough to see off the street when traveling in an unfamiliar territory.... Staff is very friendly and professional. The view was beautiful. I would difeniately stay there agan. Parking area could be attached to hotel instead of having to drive to parking area.

Its is a very cool hotel being built in an old train building. That's about it though. The pool had children in the whole time which is not a big deal because I did not plan to use the pool. But my room faces the pool and had a window to it. So get ready to be awake right when that pool opens in the morning. And also hear people the whole day. When the pool closes peop...

Hotel is in a good location and rooms are good size . But we were given our 3 rooms on 6th floor which has doors opening to the indoor pool due to which it was noisy ( pool was open till past midnight) and also we had to have our window curtain closed at al times for privacy which made room feel very dingy. Towels in bathroom didn't feel fresh and toiletries were not r...

Easy check in and parking. The room was spacious, clean, modern. Staff was friendly. Only downside was breakfast was not included, and cost $16 (you can have an amazing breakfast elsewhere for the same price). Didn't use the gym so can't comment on that. Overall enjoyed our stay!

I had prepaid through Agoda. comThe hotel staff had no record of this. Two of the three staff members I dealt with were less than sympathetic or helpful to solve the problem. In addition my shower set off a smoke alarm each time, and they did not get around to solving the problem during my stay.

Is this the swankiest motel in the metro? No, of course not. But it gets the job done--a pleasant night of sleep in a comfortable bed. Plus, the rooms are enormous if you like large rooms. Bottom line, they've done the best they could do with an aging physical structure. My one complaint is that there was no reading light over the bed.

The hotel is located near University of Minneapolis hence there are a ton of food/cafe options around including CVS pharmacy. There are also buses to the city centre - not for tourists who want to do only shopping but it makes for a great base to explore minneapolis.

Love this hotel, especially since it is real clean and quiet in the room. And it has a restaurant, a lounge, and a club/lounge downstairs. I spent my birthday there and it was so much fun. Rented the fantastic suite - it had lots of space with a dining table and chairs, a long beautiful couch, and plenty of space for my guests. It worked out perfectly for the occasio...

LuMinn was so much more than I expected. The room was comfortable, immaculate, and I loved the small touches that made it so special. The adjustable lighting was a step beyond in its options. The shower has both an overhead rain shower and a hand-held shower head. A robe is provided for lounging comfortably on the excellent mattress. I mean, this mattress was so comf...

Stayed here since I flew in early for the Super Bowl. Great staff (5-star hotel courteousness!), great location with a strip mall down the street. Really impressed with how well the temperature control worked, since most hotels take at least an hour to warm up or cool a room. Great value for the money!

Everything was great about this hotel when I got there: the look, the staff, the room. The wifi was fast, the bed was comfortable, the fridge was cold. When I needed a place to hang out before my event, the room was great. There was traffic nose, but that wasn't what bothered me. The problem is the interior noise. Every slamming door could not only be heard, it could ...

We really enjoyed our stay. The only suggestion I would have it not to hang the hair dryers from the sprinkler. A nice basket on the shelves by the towels would be a better suggestion. There was a jet in the hot tub that was broken, but it definitely didn't stop us from enjoying it both days we were there. Thank you!

Disappointed in the breakfast situation. Staff were busy greeting each other and not paying attention to the counter. Food choices were limited and difficult to find. Oatmeal looked like my grandmother made it in 1970. Tables were littered with food and not wiped clean. Had to go eat at Denny's.

I came to the Twin Cities to attend and participate in a friend's memorial service, as well as to see friends whom I had not seen in years...42 years, in one instance. Every need was anticipated and met. Every question answered to my satisfaction. Each member of the staff was the perfect blend of professionalism and friendliness. The room was spacious and well ap...

Pool with great operating hours, extensive kid-friendly breakfast, very nice mini-fridge with a freezer compartment, coffee maker and microwave in a little kitchen-nook. Wifi is faster than our home. Staff were polite and quick to clean up messes. Of note, there was a violent crime committed while we were guests. This was absolutely no fault of the establishment and ju...
Cheap places to stay in Minneapolis (MN)

I have stayed here periodically over past few months as I have been in process of moving. This last time after paying for 4 nights, I wanted to extend stay for another day. My card was declined, (bank error/fraud flag) and before I could figure it out with bank, I had older Indian manager screaming and beating on door, threatening me, using profanity, refusing to stop ...

The breakfast was not great, and was not kept stocked. Even the coffee was full of grounds. The rooms were fine, but even for a non-smoking hotel it smelled of smoke. The coffee maker in our room didn’t work, and water leaked all over the desk and floor.

Hotel was new. Construction still going on but no noise from it inside the hotel. Beds and pillows very comfortable. Could not plug room magnifying mirror or blow dryer into some of the plugs in the bathroom. No water for coffee other than tap and both the hot and cold tap water was clear coming out of the tap but cloudy in the glass.
