"Albergo Diffuso have a central Reception but their apartments are in nearby historical buildings that have been renovated. Ours was a few metres from the castle, by the old sea walls. Super quiet at night and comfortable. No food provided, apart from tea bags. Mini market nearby. They have a tuk tuk which took us to the station, and the super-helpful staff (Silvia and Sabrina) helped us with taxis, train times, where to eat, etc and both went out of their way to provide us with info that we asked for. Monopoli old town is very pretty, clean, and atmospheric. Get a taxi to Egnazia and see the Roman ruins and museum!"
