"My brother and I stayed here during our month long exploration of NZ by motorcycle in April 2018. Good location up on a hillside overlooking the beach which is a nice fifteen minute walk through the rain forest. Indoor pool and hot tub as well as outdoor hot tubs and a pool. The property doubles as a day spa but this is not a problem and is in fact a benefit as I was able to walk over and get a massage. Don't be turned off by the vegetarian only restaurant as I almost was. I had the single best meal of my trip and one of the best ever. The lasagna made with butternut squash. The breakfasts were also delicious and filling. Hiking and mountain biking trails begin right on the property, handy laundry facilities and much of the restaurant's produce in grown in their own garden which I discovered while exploring the trails. One note the parking at some bungalows can be a challenge for motorcycles, the property is on a hillside, but remedies can be had. Too bad we can't keep K/O a secret."

"The lady that meet me was really lovely but the man (I think her son) was not very friendly and very rude to the lady (don't speck to your mother that way). The room was lovely and the cleanest have seen for a motel, I am use to staying in top class places in big city's and Abby court was cleaner that them. Bed was super cuddly. Thank you for wonderful stay. "

"Very basic room standard even as for backpackers accommodation - compared with few other places 1. just two rails to dry towels, nothing to hang any extra clothes. 2. not enough wall sockets - just two single ones placed just at the bed level and no shelf/ night table to put the electric devices for charging Plenty of common space/ dining area outside which is nice and spacious kitchen. Basic shower facility - shower timed for 5min, one of them impossible to get to work. No towels provided - it should be stated on a booking website Good location for exploring Abel Tasman "
