"We stayed in a Deluxe room for a few days. The rooms themselves are quite comfortable, clean and have wonderful open balconies. One thing missing is a kitchenette, and a couple who stayed with us in the room next door also had a faulty air con. The resort itself is beautifully laid out, with lovely gardens and a very tranquil, country setting. The facilities are great - pool, spa, sauna and BBQ area - and staff are very helpful. We were missing a few utensils for the bbq, but the kitchen staff were happy to provide us with anything we needed. One annoyance - being in the country, I think that they spray insecticide in the evening to kill off bugs that swarm to the resort. The smell of the chemical is unbearable and would make us sick. Location wise, it is literally a 2 minute drive from the Mudgee CBD, and at the beginning of the wine trail. When you leave the driveway, you turn left to start the wine tasting cheese factory is within walking distance), or turn right go into town for your shopping/dining needs. It is the perfect place to get a real country-stay feel, with the convenience of being close to all the action. We will definitely be staying here again."

"Went to Mudgee to pick cherries and thought there would be heaps of accom . Not realising the Mudgee Cup was being run at the same time we were going to be in Mudgee . All accom was being snavelled up so we booked the last room available at a reasonable cost for one night , room was adequate and clean, close to middle of town and Kelly's Irish Pub which was holding an after race Cup Party . All was fair and good ...."
