"The Mulhouse B and B is on the Avenue de Colmar, a few minutes walk from the shops and historic centre of Mulhouse. It is only 15 minutes walk to the railway station, with fast connections to Basle, Strasbourg, Paris, etc. The Number 1 tram stops right outside the hotel. It is only 3 stops going south on that tram to the station and 2 stops going north to the wonderful car museum. The railway museum and electricity museum are on the Number 3 tram route, with a stop a few minutes walk south of the B and B. The room was compact, but had all necessary features, including a large comfortable double bed, TV, desk with power sockets, hanging space for clothes, fast wi-fi and an en suite bathroom with spacious shower. Best of all, it was very clean and nicely decorated. The room overlooked the tram stop, but very little noise came in through the huge double glazed window. Breakfast was ample, though with a relatively limited selection on the buffet - it was clear the menu was determined by Central Purchasing rather than a chef."

"If you have stayed at other Ibis hotels, you know what this hotel looks like. Nothing surprise and new as the Ibis chain all provides similar amenities. Due to a spontaneously trip to Mulhouse, we booked this hotel 30 mins before arrival. Staffs are nice but this is just Ibis. You come here because it is at a reasonable price."

"On arrival, the man at the front desk was very helpful. The building is stunning, real attention paid to the details and furnishings in our room as well as just the public areas. We thoroughly enjoyed our first day until we went to bed. I turned off the bathroom light and the power cut in the room. We called front desk and for the next hour we had to wait in the dark while the circuit board was being found. I was exhausted, the air con had stopped and it was very hot so we both took a bottle of water from the fridge. When the power was back on the air con took hours to cool the room and another trip to the bathroom tripped the power again. We had a terrible sleep and the morning staff were a stone wall. Aware of our problem overnight but they had no apology or care for our wellbeing. Charged us full price plus the water from the fridge. We also opted for the petit dejeuner and we're shooed out of the breakfast room to the foyer. We felt shunned. A disappointing end to our stay. "

"The central location and the parking behind locked doors were the best things. The strong cigarette stench in our room at arrival was unpleasant. The was no hook to hang the shower hose, which was another surprise. Thus when showering one must hold the hose by hand all the time. The breakfast was nice. "

There was no kettle in the room. but there is a drink machine in the lobby and we could drink a hot tea anytime. Clean and new room and friendly staff. would love to use it again if we get a chance.
