"The name Niranta Airport Transit hotel - inside Intl airport suggests that it is easy to access as a transit passenger. However, Jet Airways staff in both London and Mumbai Transit told me that I would have to have a visa to access the hotel. I was unable to access the hotel because it would appear that people I spoke to did not realise that the hotel was accessible from Transit without a visa. This should be easy for you to rectify. I hope that you will consider what I have told you and for future custom address this issue. I would like to stay with you next time I transit through Mumbai but I would like by email the process and protocol for this to happen. Please ensure that my booking fee is refunded as promised by your staff supervisor who I spoke to after getting through immigration and into the transit lounge. I had to pay extra for the privilege of using an airport lounge for sleep and rest, after paying for the Niranta hotel.I would have preferred to stay with Niranta having booked it. "

"My wife and I stayed at the West End hotel during our stay in Mumbai and found it to be an excellent choice. The location was very comfortable. We felt safe walking around the area and heading off to the scenic spots on foot. The restaurant was fantastic! Some of the best food we had in our 18 days in India was had here and served by some of the nicest restaurant staff we have met in all of our travels. The front desk staff was helpfull and friendly also. The room was huge. It was clean but definately not a modern comfy feel. We had a great stay here and will stay again if in Mumbai."

"I was only in Mumbai for one night and the staff arranged for a driver (Suleman) who took me all over the city that night then came back the next morning to show me many of the other sights. The room was big and the bed comfortable. Compared to the rest of India Mumbai is expensive, but the hotel is nice, staff are great and it's a good location. Easy to get to the airport ( took about 40 mins ). Breakfast was pretty good and they have a bakery/deli. "

"we were allowed to check-in much earlier (9 am). the staff are super friendly. they attend to our request almost immediately. this hotel is situated near the juhu beach, less than 1 minute, and it is only 5 minutes drive away from the "lingring road" which is mean for shopaholics (and costs only 40 rupees). the autorickshaw arounds there normally charge according to meter (unlike those in the city of mumbai who will charge you an exorbitant amount). domino's is just around the corner (for those who get fed-up of curry after a few days stay). they have decent restaurant nearby as well. the room was clean and well-decorated. you feel like you are in a 4 star hotel, and it is very quiet due to low density. it is like a garden in the hustle bustle of the city. once you step out from the hotel you feel the crowd, but when you are in the hotel, you can enjoy the tranquility of the surrounding. note: it is far away from the gateway of india. this place is suitable for those who wants to explore kenheri cave or some other place which is further away from the city of mumbai. is an excellent stay. this hotel is near the airport too (less than 20 minutes even when thee is traffic jam)."
