Traveling to Canada? Find Niagara Falls (ON) hotels

This was a great hotel to stay at. The rooms were big and clean. Staff was friendly. The pool was a bit small but worked out for the boys. This worked out for the long days we spent at Niagara Falls and exploring the area. There is a WeGo bus stop property side of the street. I would advise against eating at the IHOP, because of how expensive it is. The prices are inflated even with the coupons you receive from the hotel. Including tip, coupon, tourist tax and corporate tax. we spent $90 Canadian for breakfast for three people—ridiculous. Parking is paid even though they have plenty of spots in the parking lot. There is an “owners” tax that is payable to the property. Checking my receipts, this was charged on everything from parking to eating at IHOP. I believe this is local to Niagara Falls. You can refuse to pay this fake corporate tax.

Located on Lundy's Lane, the long side street that is far away from the madness and clutter of downtown Niagara Falls. However, the hotel is right on the WEGO bus line that brings you RIGHT to the falls in 15 minutes. Plenty of restaurants, banks, shopping, and stores all around the hotel. No need to pay tons of money to stay right downtown. Staff was very friendly and helpful. It made our trip stress free and enjoyable.

Save money and stay at Ramada *Near* the Falls. Parking is $5 cheaper there and it's only a short walk from Ramada *Fallsview*. Still, my room was quiet and the bed was sort of comfortable, but it is a dark room and smelled of Raid. It does have a mini coffeemaker in the room, which was appreciated, but there was definitely a bug floating in my leftover coffee an hour later when I went to leave. Thankfully, I was only there to sleep so really, it was what I needed for the night, just pricey, but being in Niagara Falls that's to be expected. IHop was tasty; the 15% coupon that they give you is for 2 entrees - so make a friend if you go by yourself!

The hotel very affordable and is located near the place where we wanted to go such as the Fallsview Casino and Niagara Falls (just 5 mins walk to the Fallsview Incline Railway. Also, Wego blue line bus passes near the hotel. This is also the only hotel in this area that provides free wifi and free breakfast. The rooms are big, and the only thing is that they don't have free bottle of water but they do have free coffee and teas and no mini ref that's why I rate it as 4. Overall experience is very good as they let us in early (early check-in) since no one is occupying our designated room already. Staffs are friendly and accommodating.

room was great, with a large tub with jets, instant hot water, great pressure; clean, lots of room; nice big tv. front desk staff was not welcoming, friendly, or helpful, which was a bummer, except for one haole gentleman named Rhan. cleaners neglected to refill our coffee/cups/packets. super convenient being right on a bus line with a stop right outside the lobby, but pretty far from the main action near the falls

The Rex Motel has everything you need. The room was modern and unique in it's design. The bathroom was also modern and well taken care of. There is a fridge with a freezer to keep your beverages and snacks cold. The room also has a microwave for reheating. A small coffee maker with coffee was supplied every day. There were plenty of channels on the cable TV to find something to watch while in the room. The wifi was reliable and quick. The owners were very accommodating and called me before I arrived to discuss my late check-in. When I checked-in, they offered many details on places to visit along with a map and directions. Any hotel and motel should have these features. It is exactly what anyone might need while visiting Niagara Falls. The location is not ideal for walking to the main sights, but if you have a car, it is only a few minutes away. This is what every other hotel should be. I had a very pleasant experience from my arrival to my departure. Highly recommended.

Perfect staff !! The Jacuzi was filled with hair at the beginning. The staff send people to clean it immediately for me. After i found my room was noisy at night when i slept, they change a big room for me. I know , sometime things happen. But they fix the problems immediately. I really enjoy the staying. The location is also close to the falls. I recommend other to visit this place !!

It is excellent hotel at Niagara Falls than any other hotel or motel we stayed for last 5 years. Rooms were big and clean. I had 2 room. Both rooms were clean, but one had mold annoying smell. Unfortunately they don’t have any room available than that. Room service sprayed which relief a bit but it was annoying and we had no choice. Other room had no issues. Note to management : please check rooms for mold smell. Rooms are clean and up to date. I would definitely recommend for anyone. Parking is 16.95 self parking. Everything is walkable.

I normally go for a larger chain when staying at hotels, but decided to give this one a shot due to the good reviews. I was pleasantly surprised to find large clean rooms and excellent staff. Super friendly! It is an older hotel, but very well maintained. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Niagara Falls and if we ever visit again I would definitely book again.

For the moment I check-in, there is a facilities fee charged per room. It is CAD10 + 15%tax and didn't mention before I make the booking. It is totally unacceptable and I don't think I have to pay this fee. People may think CAD10+tax is a small amount but I think it is about integrity. If I pay this time, is that mean I have to pay if i is CAD1,000 as well? When I tell the front desk that the fee wasn't mentioned during the booking, and the confirmation e-mail also claimed that my booking was fully paid, the front desk argued that it was mentioned. Therefore I asked him to search and point that out to me. After 10 minutes waiting, the front desk couldn't find it mentioned and free the charge for us. Also, the parking fee is unreasonably high (CAD20 per car). Plus, unlike most of the other hotels in Canada, the bottled water in the room is charged (CAD2.99 each). No matter what the result is, I think it is better to state all the price on the booking page.

The hotel was pretty good however there were a few things that bothered me. The right elevator was out of service, there was no notice of repairs, it just never came. Second the heater in our room had a bad thermostat. It would make the room hot and cold within the same 30 min without touching the knob. For example, it would reach 27ºC, shut off, then wouldn't turn back on until like 19ºC. So we'd be sweating, then freezing and little we could do about it because touching the knob would just shift that entire range up or down. Next was the toilet seat had a burn mark on it, and then the hinge lock cracked on the day we were leaving. None of this ruined our experience, just it could have been better. Especially the heater's thermostat.

The hotel staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Room and breakfast was absolutely value for money. Stayed for three weeks with my son, and although the winter weather was challenging at times we had fun. The hotel is located in cose proximity to many restaurants, Niagara Falls and Clifton Hill attractions. Transportation was very reliable. It was a quiet area, not a lot of traffic and cozy. I would definitely recommend this hotel and it would be my choice when i next visit Niagara Falls. Ask for Room 229 !

Great location could be updated not the ritz very clean no fridge we brought a plug in cooler not sure if u can get one from the office I did c them karoki runs from 4:00pm -2:00am every night u have to sign a waiver we didnt mind once doors were closed not bad great entertainment . The staff and house keeping were amazing they really look after every need (Theresa ) wasn't even our house keeper and she really made us feel welcomed.

We stayed at QualityHotel Fallsview Cascade in Niagara Falls for four nights. We were pleased with the competitive rates. The room was large, with 2 double beds and space all around. We were given room #101, a ground floor room right next to the pool. Not sure I would recommend this particular room, as there was a lot of foot traffic right in front of our window to the pool and stairs nearby. In fact, on one occasion a person actually leaned into the window to examine the room and us! We learned to keep the drapes down but it made the room dark and cave like. But the beds were comfortable, and we had 3 pillows each. Shampoo, soap, conditioner and lotion were provided. There were a number of lamps, including reading lights, and plenty of electrical outlets. The shower worked well and we did not run out of hot water. The room had an iron and ironing board and a coffee maker. The air conditioner, which was quite effective, was also noisy. The hotel was quite clean. As we had medicine in need of refrigeration, we were given a courtesy fridge. Otherwise it is a $15/day charge. The breakfast was more generous than imagined. In addition to the usual continental fare of cereal, toast, and bagels, they had scrambled eggs, sausages, waffles, vanilla yogurt, apples and oranges on offer. The coffee was relatively good. The only issue was that there was absolutely no change in the menu, so that for a longer stay, it becomes less appealing. Reception was friendly, accommodating and competent. They met all our requests cheerfully. The free parking was a little tight, but they did their level best to make room for our guests. The pool and hot tub were enjoyable but it would have been nicer to have an earlier opening than 9. The hotel's location was wonderful. We could see the Falls from the sidewalk outside the hotel and it took a mere 4 minutes to walk down the hill to the Falls!

Very nice. We will come again when we travel to Niagara. The staff were all very helpful. I realize you are not the same entity as IHOP, but for the record the food was good, waitress was nice, but the exchange rate policy on there part for using our american currency was outrageous. They charged the max allowed apparently. Loved the hotel, and spent a nice quieet relaxing first night in Niagara.
