Hearing so much about this city, it does live up to its reputation. Love the buildings and the people.
Everywhere if you need assistance, just ask and people help. Love the little pastry shops everywhere. A bit limiting is choice of restaurants serving main meals. Too much of the same fare
Nice is a beautiful city with a variety of activities to offer. It has quite a few museums, a great seaside, casinos, good restaurants, etc.
We were there in late October yet the weather was still warm and the sun was shining as if it was summer.
Nice is a mix between a city and a beach resort. One can swim in crystal clean waters of the Mediterranean in the morning, enjoy shopping in the afternoon and fabulous cuisine and nightlife in the evening.
Don't take the taxi from the airport - the bus is really inexpensive and covers most of the city area.
Can access most of Nice by public transport. f course, walking the gorgeous cooled streets is the best.
Been to Nice twice, and will not hesitate to visit again.. best to go in late spring or early summer.
Lovely little shops in the old town and between Garabaldi Square and the NH Hotel, also the shopping centre near NH Hotel worth a visit, lots of nice shops, some bargains to be had! The main shopping street has nice shops but some high end ones which are pricey.
Eating in the old town a bit pricey also but great atmosphere for all ages.
Beautiful sea, nice food, nice people. The beach was not a fine sandy beach, good for sunbathing. The tide is quite big.
The castle hill is a must see.
Very clean city. Hardly any graffiti. Nice walking areas.Good and cheap buses : 1,5 to Monaco! I will come back this summer.
Much sun, even in december.
Nice was an energetic city where you could see people jogging and cycling along the promenade. sunshine makes the beach water florescent blue, brilliant and relaxing coastline.
Morning markets are appealing too, fresh and high quality food ingredients, herb plants, flowers... nice if you rent an apartment with ovens or stoves to cook. To relax, come to Nice.
great place. Loved the walks and all the sights. Massena Square is beautiful,as is the promenade. Dog poo is an unpleasant problem-better street cleansing needed-or better behaviour by owners.
Lots of smokers at doorways-doesnt seem to be designated smoking areas and then cigarette buts littering place. Travel very accesible-train & bus, prices on trains reasonable. weather beautiful.
I like Nice very much and wish to ga back there again. This city is rich in the impressive history, a variety of activities, relaxing feeling and calm.
The people are friendly. The local market and restaurants are very good. Should try.
We went for opening of Nice Festival, it was a fantastic experience with fireworks just over my head.
Very nice and relaxing city and good parks with crowded people. Long beachside and not far from international airport.
Nice is nice! Awesome restaurants, great ocean views and lots of entertainment. I would totally recommend it for couples.
this hotel is very near from the Nice train Station; therefore, it's easier for travellers to take trains to visit somewhere else and Nice city as well.
I booked it for taking a early flight next morning, which is very convienent to hail a cab 10 minutes before your depart.
Surprised how big it was and how many sights to see. Perfect weather. A variety of shopping/restuarants/beach/museums/galleries.
Would recommend anyone to go.
Second time to nice. Love the place. Amazing restaurants & bars. Can be a little expensive at times but you get what you pay for.
Loved relaxing at the beach drinking cocktails & tanning. Nightlife is awesome whether it's the bars or casinos. Highly recommend hiring a car and driving to Monaco for the day...beautiful views along the coastline. Will definitely visit nice again
I very much enjoyed the city and was very relaxed. Besides relaxing at the beaches, there's much to do such as sailing, scuba diving, paragliding, etc.
Very nice old town to explore with very good food options.
Nice is a very charming city, from the moment you leave Nice Airport and take the bus to Nice City Centre, the drive is along the Promenade des Anglais sea front, gorgeous!
Traveling around is very convenient and surprisingly cheap, especially on the buses to see outskirts towns! Further information could be obtained from the Tourist Center next to the Train Station and also a few places located around.
It's a very peaceful and relaxing French city. There are also many more of those small French villages nearby which are easy to go by public buses, costs only a mere 1 Euro! No joke!
I love Nice which is a very lovely and nice place for relaxation. Enjoy the flower market. I will definitly visiti nice again.
The beach is pretty nice and it has a good connection to other cities like Monaco, Cannes, Eze village, Antibes.
It'd be better if it's a bit warmer when I get there so I can enjoy sunlight more. People are very nice they speak English quite well. It's perfect for my vacation in France.
Nice and cozy city with good mix of modernity, facility and local provence characteric..most lovely beach and sea.
Great scenic and good access to other city
Nice is certainly a must go in winter days. Temperature is mild. Scenery overlooking Bay of Anglais is breathtaking.
It's a good travel spot n also good for as a middle point for travel the surrounding like grasse Monaco Cannes.
if travelling by train;book your return reservation as soon as you can;even as you arrive ;or you can pay more ;or not even get aseat reservation
Beautiful location on the Med. Good access roads to/from it and airport and trains are easily accessible.
We also used buses which worked well within the city. We spent 3 days and liked the shopping and bus tour to see the overall city. I liked that the entry to museums was free but we only visited on and a second located on Blvd. des Anglais was unexpectedly closed.
