"Our trip around both covered a lot of ground and lasted for five weeks, so that meant being on a bit of a backpacker budget as far as food and accommodations went. However, we were able to get a great deal on this hotel through Agoda and we were able to spend the night in luxury for not too far over of our budget. The view from the room alone is worth the price, but the rooms are also gorgeous, clean and very comfortable. My only regret is not taking advantage of the outdoor bath, but we equally enjoyed our balcony. Nothing like falling asleep to the sound of waves and waking up to a beautiful ocean view."

"This is our first attempt in a simple hostel and we didn't expect a high standard though. However, the charismatic ambient and the extremely friendly and helpful lady manager quickly put us at ease. Nice food at good value are found everywhere near the hostel. Feel free to ask her for recommendation. This is a quiet town in Nichinan but allowing us easy access to places like Obi Castle, Michi-no-eki Phoneix, Aoshima and then to Umagase. Good choice! "

"Hotel is a little old/dirty. Windows don't close perfectly, leaving road noise at night. My room had a smell of pee, even though it looked clean. Would be good if we were told there is a bathroom on the first floor too, as another guest had taken a very long bath in the only bathroom on the second floor. Friendly staff though"

"I had high expectations for this place due to the great photos on their website and I have to say it was even better than I thought. They put great effort in restoring this old Samurai house by making it modern and stylish but maintaining the traditional elements at the same time. The only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. Check in is fairly easy and the house is located right in the center of historic Obi. Highly recommended!"
