Disliked: Expecting 5-star luxury but (after staying at other 4-star properties in the area), this hotel disappointed. Parking in front of hotel is limited, so have to park in the back parking which is opened by intercom buzzer and not so convenient to get to the room. The spa / pool facilities close at 19:30 and this seems far too early for a primarily spa-focused hotel. The general crowd is older, from 50 to 80 years of age. The bar only has 6 traditional cocktails (Long island, singapore sling, mai ta, pina colada, sex on the beach and tequila sunrise), all priced at €12, and it's impossible to make any alternative cocktails. The 2 hammams are like food cans, and barely has space for 2 people to squeeze in at one time. Liked: Our room was the only one of 2 "standard rooms" that also have a balcony (others don't have a balcony) and this was a fabulous feature, being able to sit outside under the rain cover was lovely. Beds are super comfortable, sleep is wonderful, and room is very quiet, with black-out blinds. Reception staff are all super friendly, although bar staff is just short of rude. Jacuzzi's are operated per individual taste, with essential oils.

I hate it when hotels do this. I booked a standard double at their hotel. Upon my arrival the lady at the reception inform me that i've been upgrade. She walked us out of the hotel, across the street to their sister hotel called Hotel pavilion which is more like a serviced apartment. Its not that the room was bad but it's that if i wanted to book the pavillion i could have on agoda & it was actually cheaper! So i paid more to stay there for no reason & secondly don't assume your guest is stupid by saying you're being upgraded when you're moving them to a cheaper room & one that is not in your main hotel.
