"i was there for a week; i would have gladly stayed longer but it was too a little too far from what i had come to do in japan. it's not in a fascinating area, but it is right next door to the train for nagoya, so transportation is very easy - with a 24 hour convenience store just across the street. very relaxing, very comfortable bed, extremely clean - really a nice place to have some down time if you need to rest & recharge, & don't have an obsessive need for activity. and i would certainly seek out other hotels of the chain "dormy inn" in other parts of japan, hoping they maintain the same standards and reasonable prices!"

"This hotel was a little further from the station than I expected, and on the side of a hill. It has a "kitschy" decor - the entrance steps loaded with sculptures ranging from Italianesque to more Japanese themes, the walls of the corridors covered in all sorts of paintings. It is quite an unusual place from that point of view. It felt like visiting the place of an older excentric aunt or uncle. In contrast, my corner room was quite simple and large, and it had a comfortable quilt and Western style soft pillow which I didn't expect to find in a 2-star hotel. Being a little on a hill, my room also had some fabulous views in two directions over Okazaki. Overall, the room was good value for money."
