Hotel room was very clean. Staff was very nice. For entertainment, you can cast Netflix or YouTube from your phone to the hotel TV.
Wish Valet was a choice and that the parking lot was cleared of snow, the rooms are very dry, but they brought a humidifier up when asked.
Old and outdated , the schedule of the pool isn’t kid friendly when you have a group of kids (15kids - 11-12 yr olds). That want to swim in the middle of the day and it’s not open. Heather front desk was rude and not helpful. Our hockey team will never spend money at this hotel again!
Nice modern facilities about a 20 min drive via highway to downtown Ottawa, just off the highway. Pros: clean, modern rooms. Location was awesome, we were in Ottawa for a soccer tournament and were 9 mins from the field. Shopping and Restaurants were a 5 min drive. My only complaint would be the lighting in the washroom, little darker then normal. All in all a good place to stay in Kanata.

I really enjoyed my stay in Auberge des Arts Bed and Breakfast. The room is cozy, bed is comfortable and everything is really clean and well organized. Breakfast which Pierre cook was also delicious! I would revisit Auberge des Arts B&B if I have a chance to visit Ottawa again!

Parliament Hill is a must see during the day and night. There are activities like a show on the parliament hill at night during summer.
Ottawa is nice to visit, but as I'm from Toronto, as it is a smaller city to me so would recommend a weekend getaway to Ottawa to cover the sights.
The main sightseeing places are about politics. Though not very interesting, you should see the place.
