"Although advertised as a resort it had no real resort qualities but if a "rough'in it" trip is what you are looking for (with Aircon or without)this is the place. Very poorly build nipa huts that swayed back and forth when you walked across the floor. Door didn't shut all the way so we used a bed to hold it shut. Ants everywhere. But don't get me wrong...this just adds to the "Rustic"ness of the "Resort" hotel. The staff was friendly enough and was very accommodating with meals and guiding us through 3 locked gates to access the beach. Not what I would consider beachside. For what we got the price was about right and it did make us come closer as a family in that we had to work together to survive to down-graded quality of living we enjoy at home. I would definitely recommend it if you are looking for a getaway from technology and everyday comforts. There was a 19 inch tv that got 2 sometimes 3 channels and the remote did not work but that was not what we were there for anyway. Overall for a "Rustic" vacation getaway place I would give it a 7 out of 10 but for what they advertise it as I would give it a 3 out of 10. They were doing improvement which is great although welding by the pool where my 2 year old daughter was swimming was not so thoughtful of them. We told her not to look at the "BRIGHT LIGHT" but to no avail. We will more than likely stay there again due to location and price and just a short php1,800.00 bamboo boat ride to some terrific scenic beaches. We just will not expect as much from the "resort" this next time..."
