Palampur hotels & accommodations
Thermostat in the room was not working. Either it was very cold or very hot. Temperature settings of the room did not work despite efforts by its maintenance staff Second this is disliked that room had no ventilation, no fresh air supply from outside. So , two here became difficult. Everything else as per standard what you expect from a four star chain hotel.
Although it's on 45 minutes drive from mcleodganj. But if you going for relax and piece must stay in this resort. It's 100% value for money. All was superb staff, swimming pool , billiards , dinner in lawn with other guest in hotel, bar and cleaness.
Taragarh Hotel has a great reputation but for that price it was of poor quality. I had to wait for my room for 2 hours even though I arrieved 2pm. When taking lunch waiting for my room to get ready the table cloth was dirty with huge spots all over and when I asked them to change it they asked me to go and sit at another table. When I insisted on sitting at this tab...
Excellent Stay with scenic view from the rooms. Clean rooms and 24x7 service from the hotel staff. Though it is far from the city but seems so close. Very peaceful and quiet environment. Food at hotel restaurant was very good. Value for money hotel.

This is very well placed location with serene beauty around and snow peak view. Central place for Dharmshal, Mcleodganj and Billing paragliding. Good hospitalising. Feel at home.
