You get what you pay for. In a satelite city like palembang, i would expect less budget hotels. Therefore i would advice to invest a little more to get a decent stay. I was lucky to find this gem hotel amongst the other hotels. Hotel Batiqa is smaller but doesnt compromise in the room space and design. Upon stepping in the room. You experience a 5 stars resorts hotel. ...

This 3,5 stars hotel but it's like 4 stars. Location very nice, near Palembang culinary such pempek, mie celor, martabak har, and pindang, walking distance to Palembang Icon mall. We arrived at 10 am, they told us for waiting until 11 am, but they help us to get early check-in and upgraded us to premier room. The room are nice, spacious, king size bed, very comfortable...

The location is actually quite good: not in the center of the city but on the main road, and close to the airport. Traffic in Palembang can be pretty bad (It is one of the fastest growing cities in Indonesia). There is a decent shopping mall (Palembang Town Square) next to it. One of the best features of the hotel is its design. The rooms are arranged in a circle wi...

I book superior room, and very happy because it's quiet large with king size bed. Location is great near to the city center and attraction in Palembang. Breakfast not really nice. Not much choice as it is 4 stars hotel. Even some 3 stars hotel in Palembang better in breakfast menu. The staff upon check in works really slow.

Check in was easy staff very friendly, Room exceeded my expectations large room, comfortable bed, Cable tv very clean. Bathroom reat shower lots of hot water not like other hotels in Palembang. Room service was quick and food was excellent. Recommend this to all and is my choice from now on when in Palembang.

Breakfast is buffet I suggest however to include a variety for tourists like scrambled eggs, saussages or pancakes. The noise from hallways can be heard in room. Botheresome for business travelers or vacationers. TV programs are limited for English programs. Lots of mosquito in lobby. Better to enclose the coffee shop - dinning area. They did were not able to give me ...

This hotel is outstanding value for money for a Western traveller. Central location, easy to get to from the incredible Light Rail that runs from the airport. The cleanliness of the rooms and the hotel itself cannot be faulted. But it lets itself down on a couple of area's .T e first is the breakfast. There are big stainless steel bowls of food with burners underneath...

We were in Palembang for family gathering, spent most of the time out of hotel. Its the best place for whom only need place to sleep during night, tune palembang agoda's fare included air conditioning, tv, pillow, and towel packages, but no breakfast. We have stayed several times at Wyndham OPI Hotel and the service matches the predicate of embedded stars. Everything was as I had expected until I found two things. Bad wifi and the service. They didn’t clean up the room eventhough I already put the sign, on the front door. it is an okay hotel if you're not a fussy person. the toilet has mould on the ceilings and tiles, the chair in the room was broken, the access card is permanently built into the wall, so you cannot turn off the light above the bed when you want to sleep. Good : Location is near to Jakabaring sport city, no traffic at this side. Room is clean. Ac works good. Only 4-5 mosquitoes per night I had to kill. Bad : Mannerless staff. the location is really near to jembatan ampera & benteng kuto besak, only 5-10 minutes walk. when we need to go out around palembang, it's not easy to find taxi. but the hotel has facility to rent a car and it cost per hour so we don't have to waste too much money for rent it a whole day if we don't really need to. this hotel is fairly complete with supermarket & atm c...

It was my first business trip at palembang. It was a cap go meh event so most of the hotels were fully booked. Last chance, I used agoda to booked this hotel because there was no chance to booked it manually onsite. I chose this hotel because its location and cleanliness. The staff were very nice too. I shall use this hotel again next time i visit palembang.

the staff were really helpfull and friendly, the room was clean and the breakfast was delicious, even this hotel is cheap but the service was really good, they have pool, even not good as 5 star hotel pool but its enough just for relax and play for the kids. we've a very pleasant experience with this hotel, soon we'll use this hotel again when we visit palembang

This newly opened hotel is a welcome addition to the midrange category hotels in Palembang. While the rooms are small, they are spotlessly fresh and clean. There is a handy mini mart in the lobby and there is a nice cafe out front, too. The one drawback is location as the Zuri is a few kilometers out from the city centre. This will not be a problem for people with thei...

I like this hotel. I was there in Palembang for just one night therefore the hotel is just right for me. The room is quite spacious actually and the bathroom is big, considering the price. Nice room with soft bed & linen, good air-con, clean , hot shower but a bit not strong water pressure. Great choice of breakfast & tasty for this budget hotel. Location a bit hard to find but near to Palembang Square in walking distance. Soon they will be a LRT station direct from airport by Aug 2018. Recommended

I was in Palembang to visit friends and thought I'd give this hotel a go for something new. It's a little out of the way if you need to be in the city centre, but if not, it's a nice little place to stay. The restaurant has decent food, but you can of course do much better if you venture out. That said, for a nice, cool place to sit, have a drink and read a book or use...

Brand new hotel near Jakabaring Stadium, a bit far from city center but beside a brand new Mall. We booked a standar room just a week before arrival date but the FO didn't received our agoda rese...

the reason i chose to stay at this hotel because the location is very near with the best mall in palembang which is palembang indah mall...the receptionist is nice and informative and the room is clean. just a bit dissapointed with the service of the housekeeping staff. breakfast is delicious and served in the nice restaurant with the antique interior.

20+yrs hotel, but inside the room is very clean and comfy located around the city center (strategic) staffs are helpful nothing to expect from the facilities (incl. breakfast, swimming pool, fitness center, and sauna) so I'd like to say this is the hotel for resting overnight, not a hotel to enjoy/indulge in its luxury (coz they got none)

I had a pleasantly wonderful stay at the hotel. The modern setting makes the hotel look clean and presentable. The staff knows English so they are able to cater to your needs. When I visited Palembang, the city was experiencing bad haze. The hotel staff even had face masks ready for guests use. This sort of service is commendable. When I travel, sometimes I don't have ...

I knew people in the city so had good contacts. Plenty of fantastic shopping. You chose! Traditional shops or air cond multi story shopping malls.
you can go to palembang by plane, bus or train. you can sightseeing by trans musi. you can go to ampera bridge, musi river, benteng kuto besak, jakabaring sport centre, kemaro island, kambang iwak park, etc.
Just provide 3 to 5 nights here, and you'll get all culture (ampera bridge, benteng koto besak etc) and culinary tourism, let says pempek, tekwan, Es Kacang merah etc.
Nothing much about Palembang. Places to visit are Museum Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II, Masjid Agung Palembang, Benteng Kuto Besak and Pulau Kemaro.
Palembang is famous for its traditional dish called PEMPEK. The best ones are Beringin and Cinde, while popular ones are Candy and Vico.
its quiet big city in Indonesia, but not much places to go though, shopping mall are so standard, food quiet good if you like local famous food like pempek, model, etc.
thriving city but a small portion is still not safe location, you should not travel alone, especially at night
nice airport, easy ground transportation, lots of shopping oportunity, nice dinner near the bridge with fabulous view, and .
Palembang is suitable for travelling both in a group or even alone, especially for those with the interest for culinary and history.
Palembang is a big city, a lot of local food such as pempek, ikan pindang, etc that is really nice. The city is quite clean and we can see so many history in here.
Its amazing place to go for die with local food (in good meaning ).. try come to my restaurant here, pempek tince.
The city's history, the typical local food, a little hot weather, friendly locals. Many businesses that can be developed.
I think while visiting Palembang you should try their Traaditional Food, like Pempek, Mie celor, but for me Cake Mtsuba is not recomended.
It is not a a touristy place. Traffic was quite heavy but we managed to get around to see some of the sights like the Musi Bridge and the Masjid Agung.

A good city to have a bit of relaxation. Don't forget to visit the Ampera bridge which is a landmark of Palembang.
this city don't have so many interest, i just came if i have business trip or to meet my family, but the food very ok.
Try the famous fish cake which local people call Pempek with the special chilli souce called cuko, there are some varities like Kapal Selam, Pempek Lenggang, otak-otak, pempek goreng, etc and also worth trying the local murtabak at Har restaurant, it has it's own unique taste.
Palembang is what Bangkok used to be 20 years ago. It has its own charm, the mighty Sungai Musi. The cruise along the river all the way to Pulau Kemaro was awesome.
A city full of history. Lot of muzuem that can be easy acess. The food is cheap and the people is friendly.
Nice place to visit easy acess to place you wanted to visit but the traffic is horible. The policemen are not that friendly.
Nice boat cruise on the Musi river, don't miss the Kemaro island and its buddhist temple, great culinary experience in the heart of the city, also the Sriwijaya empire museum is worth a visit
