Palermo hotels & accommodations

Excellent hotel. Staff was terrific. Grounds were beautiful. It needs a little renovation, looks a bit tired but it did not spoil our stay. We were given a suite even though we only paid for a room. We like being away from the city hassle and the shuttle buss worked promptly. There were always plenty of taxis available. Cost approx. 30 euros to the city. Check the loca...

Access to the beach strip through a gate at the back of the property was wonderful when going to explore restaurants. Beach is gorgeous...just across the street. Access to the 806 bus into Palermo stops just across the street. Beautiful views from the rooms' balconies--all face the beach. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a great 1 night stay. Hotel is very central for all in Palermo. Staff very helpful both in advance of our arrival and during. We had the wonderful surprise of a fabulous room upgrade as it was relatively low season. Though of course not everyone can get this it is lovely when it happens ! The roof top restaurant is superd .... very romantic views and sunset ......

We stayed for 6 nights (March 30 - April 5, 2013). My wife absolutely wanted a hotel with a pool, which narrowed our choice of hotel down by a lot. At 60 euros per night, NH Palermo seemed by far the best value of the hotels that had pools. Upon arrival, my wife was disappointed to see that the pool was green and that the pool area was closed. If you want the pool,...

不用十分鐘便可步行到火車站 去市中心都是十分鐘路程 方便的 廚房用具不太充足,建議不煮食為佳。 只有兩個廁所,但算清潔。 Less than 10mins to the Train station, easy to go to the city centre actually. Location is good. Only 2 washroom shared and the kitchen is lack of cooking utensils. Helpful staff which I need to say a big thank you. Thank you so much.

Can't say enough about this modern, clean, and beautiful hotel in the heart of downtown Palermo. Great proximity to restaurants, shopping, and tourist sites...and the bud to the airport is right around the corner. The staff was amazingly helpful, and made for a great few days in wonderful Sicily.

Very nice hotel, good rates and service. I would only add that the bed was horrible. The mattress was hard and you can not have a good night sleep there. The size of the room was excellent as well as the bathroom and the shower. Breakfast was ok nothing special. I would definitely recommend this hotel and come back if visiting Palermo.

Was travelling with my Mum and niece and stayed here two nights. Spacious and well appointed with new TV and mini-fridge, The Mediterraneo was located in a quiet street between Via Roma and Ruggero Settimo, which is particularly good for shopping. A short walk to the Teatro Massimo and buses to locations all over the city. We really enjoyed our stay. Free wifi was goo...

I really thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Brunaccini, the interior has a quaint mix of new and old that somehow really works. My room was awesome, spacious and with a really nice balcony. Staff were really friendly and very helpful when Alitalia needed to be contacted but left no contact details. It is one of these hotel experiences where not one thing really stands o...

Wow, I have traveled the world and have stayed in many places from the Ritz to hostels. This is by far the nicest place I've ever stayed. The apartment is so nice we didn't want to leave. We even extended our stay because of it. The location is fantastic and we used the terrace quite a bit. Book here without hesitations and plan to be blown away!!!

professional concierge service, gentle greeting, a few steps away from shopping via della Libertà and from the culture institiutions like Teatro Massimo and Politeama. the rooms are spacious and clean. Bathroom and sanitary fixtures are working well all time. Good will could be better.

Let me just clarify why I've given this a low mark on location; We were a couple on holiday visiting Palermo and although this hotel is only a few kilometres from the City, the walk is almost impossible because of the crazy traffic, taking a taxi will add at least 50 Euros per day to your stay. Having said that the rooms were very clean and the staff were friendly as...

We had booked a junior suite and we would call it a large room, but not a suite. No Sofa, just two chairs, normal sized room ,large bathroom. Staff at the reception very freindly and helpfull, the morning service for breakfast was rather non existent. But the brekafast was ok. The hotel is in a quiet residencial area, about 25 minutes walk to the quatro canti. Normal r...

Given the sometimes spotty star-rating system of Italy we were a bit anxious regarding the state of the hotel. The hotel turned out to be great, both with regards to value for money, comfort and location. Had it only had a pool I would return to this hotel every single time I chose to visit Palermo! The rooms were spotless, the bathrooms large, staff was extremely h...

could check in earlier as announced, all handled well, great staff and very friendly and helpful, even got a huge lunch bag due to early check out place was unexpected nice, as from outside it gave a different feeling, all was clean, room fairly big, just the heater too hot and could not be adjusted, so I had to sleep with open window, which in Palermo center is very ...

very professional staff working there, kind and at disposal to help with informations. envirorment definitely impressive cause once upon a time it was a bank and there are still something that reminds it.. check it out! roomes are brands new, not so big but confortable.

Nice service - great location near ferry and ok city - walking distance. Rooms are clean and being modernized. Parking next door. Nice people at hotel, always taking time to help. Like all the great graffiti paintings all over Palermo, also the hotel stairways are being decorated this way.

huge apartment very luxurious clean quiet half an hour from historical centre of palermo .Very friendly owners who gave us tips about what to visit and where to eat cheap authentic italian food. We felt very comfortable in middle of an authentic Sicilian couple very supportive and beautiful .well done

We didn't spent too much time at the hotel, but the staff was friendly, the rooms and common spaces were clean and the breakfast was very great with an extensive selection. The only problem was that the maid ignored our Do Not Disturb sign and she was cleaning our room while we were at breakfast only an hour before we were to check out and moved our stuff around to cle...

The historical center is literally at the next corner. Comfortable apartment planning. You have to go up a ladder before the sleep :) The rooms are kept clean permanently and every day you get croissants for the breakfast which you can cook for yourself. Absolutely recommend!

Before our stay, Gabriel contacted me to find out what time we planned to arrive. He also provided useful information on transportation options from the airport to downtown Palermo. We arrived around 8:30pm, and Gabriel gave us a great recommendation for dinner and some information on various places we could visit the next day. Over breakfast, he gave us more informati...

From the outside you wouldn't know this B&B was there. The facade is just like every other in the street. So trust the address and go up to the door buzzer where you'll see the only indication of what lies behind the doors. The room are comfortable and air conditioned and are all themed on different Hollywood movies such as Indiana Jones and Pirates of the Caribbean....

Excellent small hotel that is well located within walking distance of old Palermo. All the main sights were easy to access plus there were loads of bars and restaurants to choose from. Only warning, if you like to blow dry your hair and style it take your own hairdryer as the one provided is weird to say the least! Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Highly recommended B&B. To the beginning, it's very well located. You can walk from the central station to this B&B. And you can walk to every sight in the city from the B&B. The rooms are on the top floor of the six-story building in the main crossroad of the old city, so the view from the room is absolutely, extremely, especially amazing. The rooms are very clean...

There is no wifi in the building where we had the room. We had to walk with the baby and luggages through the city centre to a different building. The room was ok. Perfect location. By now the description about the hotel was changed as it was misleading (kitchenette can be used. The staff was not on top. In overall it was ok for 1 night, and had a very good location.

Cefalu is a really beautiful town and Matteo's room/cottage/apartment is in the dream location; Just a few meters from the sandy beach in an ancient little street. Ok it's small but it's great, it's ideal for couples or those with a small child. If you're booking this... I'm jealous; Can't wait to return.

1*7*4 Via Roma has all qualities one looks for a value for money. The service is offered with great attention and courtesy. The facilities are inside an old building which gives it charm; inside the double room is modern furnished, spacious and very comfortable with comfy bed, double sound proofed window, efficient and silent aircon. The room is very clean and wifi is ...

Easy access by walk to most of major places in the city centre & wide selection of good eateries nearby. Parking on premises was quite useful (paid). Staffs were also friendly. Room was clean with modern interior, but wifi in the room can be improved. Room was facing the main road so a bit noisy in the night but after the first night, it was not that bothering much....

Pierre and Vanessa were so kind, welcoming, and very helpful. They picked me up from the airport very late at night, gave me a map and a run down on where to go in Palermo, and made lots of phone calls for me when my luggage didn't arrive on time. They made me feel very comfortable and safe. I was so happy to be supporting them in their family run business that they ar...

We stayed here as part of a wedding party for 3 nights. The hotel was very nice but there were some issues. We found the bedroom & bathroom very dark. Our air conditioning seemed to work ok but others in our party had problems. The breakfast was extremely poor. I didn’t even try the hot food as it looked particularly unappetising. The variety of fruit on offer was sp...

Ambasciatori Hotel Palermo is a very comfortable hotel. It's really close to main bus and train station (about 5 min walk) and very close to Historical area ( Fontana Pretoria only about 10 min walk). The hotel location on via Roma is safe at night. Located close to the boulevard and on the edge of the old town. Inside it is however in perfect condition be it more functional than emphasis on beauty and is often the case in Italy. The staff was very helpful and found out any question or service needed.

The hotel is in a good location - easy walking distance to main attractions and restaurants etc. The staff were very nice and helpful and the rooms were comfortable and clean. We were there in off-season so got a great rate - extremely good value for money. Ask the hotel ahead of your stay where to park as it can be difficult finding a park on your own in Palermo. Than...

Palermo. Quiet disturbed by the dirt and rubbish piles on driving from the airport all the way through to the old town.
This is an artistic city and you can easily find an exhibition or showcase around the city. People are nice and willing to help you.
Palermo is a big city. The trafic is crazy. There are no rules. If are they care less. Was fun. We had a very delicious local food.
if you've been in other cities in italy, you barely feel anything and find anything impressive in Palermo, but you can still visit Cefalu for daily trip, where i did like for 3 days.
Unless you are a local in Palermo, you may dislike being there. Locals need to lift their game and learn English as well as communicate with tourists
