Hilton Pattaya

"this is the best hotel in pattaya in my opinion. location is excellent (opposite beach and not far from night life). the hotel itself is 1st class and you can see why it's a 5 star hotel. the room we stayed in had a beautiful ocean view. overall, the only fault of this hotel is that it's quite expensive compared to many other hotels in pattaya. i would stay here again though without hesitation."

X2 Pattaya Oceanphere
Bang Saray,Pattaya - View on map
"Me and my girl friend stayed 2 nights at X2 oceanphere, it was the highlight of our entire Thailand trip. The hotel is very new and clean. The private pool is a little bit small, but still nice. The public swimming pool is sooooo good with nice view, clean pool water and quite environment. All the staff there were extremely friendly, the price of spa there was very afforded and fair. They got buggy could send you the anywhere within in 10mins distance. The only negative thing is the location, it’s like around 30 mins drive from Pattaya central. Overall, it’s a very good place to stay if you are here for holiday, will come again and recommend to my friends and families. "

U Pattaya Hotel
Bang Saray,Pattaya - View on map
"We book this hotel to make up for our Honey moon. I was quite sceptical of staying near Pattaya as I knew the beaches in Pattaya are too crowded for our comfort flooded by umbrellas and beach benches vendors. Location: The location was about 5-10mins drive from Jomtien beach, very near to Nongnuch park. When we reaches the Hotel, car park spaces was aplenty, therefore, good for those who drive. The style of the hotel was very modern with wonderful usage essences of wood and blend the surrounding with the hotel. Hotel Staff: The staff was very professional and courteous, very helpful when approcached, able to speak simple English. Staff at reception was able to provide advice when we went for a bicycle ride with bikes(free usuage provided from the Hotel. Staff at restaurant was fabulous and polite, greeted every customer with smile, I love their service, Thumbs up! Room: The room was not the biggest but it is the best that we had stayed. Room was also designed with esccence of natural wood, the toilet, closet and shower was partion in one sector, then there is the bedding area, daybed and TV leisure area, lastly the balcony which consists of the private jaccuzzi. An additional to that, the view from the room was spectacular, all blend in to the ambience! Hotel condition: Facilties such as swimming pool, Gym, Restaurant and Internet room was new, well kept, very clean and detail. Food and Dining: We had our dinner at the hotel. Dinner was good, we had it on the rooftop spaces which oversee Pattaya seaview, magnificent! Food was delicious, well priced! Breakfast was included in our stay, dining by the pool, blend of asian and western breakfast selection. Food quality was good, ambience and the presentation of the dining space was unforgettable.....! Value for Money: After all I had said, I would say my stay at U Pattaya was worth every penny, would comeback again!! Thumbs up "U Pattaya"! Keep it up!!"

Pullman Pattaya Hotel G
Wongamat Beach,Pattaya - View on map
"Having seen the other hotels, overall Aisawan was a great hotel for pattaya. It's a bit north, but it's only about 100 - 150 baht to cab to downtown areas. It has a private beach which is connected to the hotel and a really nice pool area. Great for families and away from the dirty parts of pattaya. I would stay there again if I was to go back to pattaya. HOtel itself is a 5 star for pattaya standards... great staff and comfortable rooms. Hotel is close to santuary of truth - really worth checking out!"

Grande Centre Point Pattaya
North Pattaya,Pattaya - View on map
"This new hotel in Pattaya is state of the art, has some really nice touches like star lighting in the ceiling above the bed, not to mention the King bed is beyond a conventional king size and is quiet noticeably larger. To Western standard it is a comfortable medium firmness, certainly not soft but not rock hard like other hotels in Asia. The bathroom is quiet small but has plenty of room in the shower and bath area, its nice to see the shower separate of the bath and not requiring you to hop in and out of a bath tub for a shower. The toilet is a state of the art American Standard top of the range electronic toilet, has all the cool features of Japanese toilets and then some, such as a more western sized seat which is nice. Views from the balcony are awesome, on the south facing side you can see the entire Pattaya beach shoreline and pretty much the entire rest of the beach area. Definitely will be coming back soon as it's also an excellent location due to Terminal 21 being connected."

Dusit Thani Pattaya
North Pattaya,Pattaya - View on map
"We stayed at the Dusit Hua Hin last year for our anniversary, but this year we thought we'd try the Pattaya location. From parking the car to walking into the lobby, it's a rush of "nice." The place just smells nice. There is an obvious emphasis to detail here. The room was comfortable and quiet. Bathroom great. Rain shower. Nice big balcony. I think this is better than the other hotels in Pattaya of similar rankings. Reason is, this one is actually "on the beach," AND it is also on the main bay, overlooking all the other hotels which are NOT on the beach. So you have the best of it all. You walk down to the ground level and go to the beach right out your door. No crossing the street. Then, from your balcony, you sit and enjoy the great view of the Pattaya Bay with all the activity and the cool "Pattaya" sign lit up at night. Food wasn't that great we don't think. I think they have the effort, but need some new recipes. Not sure. It was just missing the wow factor. The pool was nice. Tennis courts on the water. Great view. Good service. Really clean. We'll be back again. "

"This is perhaps one of the best hotels in Pattaya. The room is very nice and clean and very new. The best part about this place is the sea view. The pool is awesome and you can stay there for the whole day. Breakfast is okay. The drawback about this place is location in North Pattaya (a lot of traffic)."

Ana Anan Resort & Villas Pattaya
Na Jomtien,Pattaya - View on map
"This hotel is really nice. We enjoyed everything they offered -- very nice room, jacuzzi on the balcony, 2-level swimming pool with slider, breakfast buffet was really great, cocktails were nice. The only 2 things that forced me to put only 3 stars for locations are 1) a municipal canal that runs through the backside of the hotel before the beach (water in that canal is nasty), and 2) other hotels surrounding this great place are really dilapidated. But, the good experience we got from our stay was far better than these disadvantages on its location. I would definitely return!"

More about Pattaya

Pattaya has been a favorite relaxation destination for tourists and locals for over 40 years. The city is centrally located close to the capital city, so it usually sees a large influx of partygoers during long weekends.

Although Pattaya is mostly associated with lazy days on the beach followed by nightclubs, the city has accommodations for a more diverse group of visitors. Hotels in Pattaya cater to everyone from retired westerners, business travelers, young honeymooners, and families. It's an unlikely mix, and only Pattaya could make it seem so effortless.

Families often head to the quieter Jomtien Beach, a crescent slice of sand brimming with water sports and beach facilities. It’s just far enough away from the central party scene, and the hotels in this area quiet down earlier in the evening. Many family-friendly activities are based in North Pattaya, featuring Buddhist temples, elephant and nature parks, and weekend markets.

The famous nightlife epicenter of Pattaya is Walking Street, a neon-heavy after-hours pedestrian strip that follows the waterfront.

While Pattaya is widely known as Thailand's party destination, it's becoming an increasingly diverse place to vacation, with the city emphasizing the other quiet beaches and golf courses as alternatives to the bright lights.

There’s much more to see and learn about Pattaya, and the interactive map on this page is a great way to find out where the attractions and hotels can be found in this exciting city.
