"brand new hotel in pattaya! i've always thought the what ever photos they post in agoda doesnt really look like what the actual hotel is. but i was wrong, beside the hotel is cheap the room is very nice, clean and huge. i got the leisure room and it was one of the best room's i had. the infinity pool was amazing! just like the marina bay sand's in singapore, the hotels pool was outstanding. two pools, 24th and 26th floor. they also show movies every night 1900 at the pool. the staff were very helpful and attentive, from the moment you check-in to the moment you check-out. i really loved the hotel, i would stay again in this hotel if i come back to pattaya. "March hotel is a brand new property which provides you with best in class amenities within affordable price. I booked this hotel from Agoda with expectations of getting a class facility similar to April and August suites as the owner is same - and the hotel exceeded my expectations - I have previously stayed in April suites also so I trusted this new property - really they kept my trust. This hotel is managed, staffed and maintained to the highest degree and is excellent value for money. It is Located near to Tops supermarket( Central Pattaya) in a quiet street (very common in Thailand provincial towns), but the nightlife is only 3-4 minutes away. This may not be a 5 start luxury hotel but the interior design, decoration and layout makes it a very comfortable stay. The balcony is big, the fridge is big, the pool is well designed - in short it is much better than many of the 4 star establishments in Pattaya and elsewhere. I stayed with my 4 friends and one couple - all of them may not be free to write a review but on their behalf too it was rated the best value for money hotel. The receptionist Miss Julia took great care for all of us - she is very polite and caring. We started our stay very next day of the Grand opening of the hotel and I am sure the standards will be maintained in the coming years too. To close this review at last I would like to add - I really enjoyed my stay here, believe me and you will also. "

"This new hotel in Pattaya is state of the art, has some really nice touches like star lighting in the ceiling above the bed, not to mention the King bed is beyond a conventional king size and is quiet noticeably larger. To Western standard it is a comfortable medium firmness, certainly not soft but not rock hard like other hotels in Asia. The bathroom is quiet small but has plenty of room in the shower and bath area, its nice to see the shower separate of the bath and not requiring you to hop in and out of a bath tub for a shower. The toilet is a state of the art American Standard top of the range electronic toilet, has all the cool features of Japanese toilets and then some, such as a more western sized seat which is nice. Views from the balcony are awesome, on the south facing side you can see the entire Pattaya beach shoreline and pretty much the entire rest of the beach area. Definitely will be coming back soon as it's also an excellent location due to Terminal 21 being connected."

"I am a huge fan of the Hard Rock franchise and have visited many of the restaurants and hotels. The Hard Rock Hotel Pattaya was no disappointment. This hotel is an oasis in the middle of a dirty and shady city. Don't get me wrong, Thailand has a certain reputation in certain spots but Pattaya goes above and beyond! I have traveled the world and visited some shady spots including Iraq, but I have never felt like I had to watch my back like I did in Pattaya. The beach was filthy. Fortunately, the hotel is isolated from the rest of Pattaya. The pool is enormous and has a great swim up bar. They play organized water sports (volleyball, water polo, etc.) everyday at 1300 hours and everyone gets involved. On the weekend they have an incredible seafood buffet, in addition to the typical Hard Rock menu with some local specialties added. The rooms are very clean and so comfortable and have great views either over the pool and ocean or the city of Pattaya. The actual Hard Rock Cafe is outside the hotel's rear entrance across from the beach. They have live music every night and a good crowd. This hotel is worth mutiple visits, unfortunately, Pattaya is not unless you are a perverted old man who can't meet women on your own. If you are a fan of the Hard Rock brand, then this is a must visit! This hotel is expensive by Thai standards, but this should be expected and you do get what you pay for. Pattaya does have it's own charms, such as fantastic seafood and taking a stroll down Walking Street, but one visit was enough for me. "For a 4 star hotel you are not going to get anything better!!! A brand new hotel that is immaculate, gym, sauna, nice pool area and a great room. We had a Superior room with a queen bed that was so comfortable. Buffet breakfast was nice with plenty of options English, Thai and Indian. Location is perfect, on a quieter street set back a little but walk 2 mins up the street and you are right in mix for bars and everything Pattaya offers. Price point was fantastic value for money. You can not go wrong staying athe Hotel Amber."
