CITRUS GRANDE HOTEL PATTAYA BY COMPASS HOSPITALITY (SHA Extra Plus)
South Pattaya,Pattaya - View on map
"We stayed 4 Nights with my 2 friends. The Room we booked by Online was not the one they had given us. This was very small for 3 people and brought to their attention, they had upgraded to a fantastic family room with out any extra payment. The first notable thing that we feel about this hotel is the freedom that we enjoy during our stay , no hustles, no interference from any side.... very good breakfast spread, different dishes..... only a small thing we felt in convenience that we faced during our stay is the group booking they do take from tour operates across the glob which gives us big croud in restaurants while on breakfast time. Hilton Pattaya (SHA Extra Plus)
Pattaya Beach Road,Pattaya - View on map
"this is the best hotel in pattaya in my opinion. location is excellent (opposite beach and not far from night life). the hotel itself is 1st class and you can see why it's a 5 star hotel. the room we stayed in had a beautiful ocean view. overall, the only fault of this hotel is that it's quite expensive compared to many other hotels in pattaya. i would stay here again though without hesitation."

Amari Pattaya (SHA Extra Plus)
Pattaya Beach Road,Pattaya - View on map
"i visit pattaya twice a year and i have stayed at the top rated hotels. there is no hotel in pattaya that can compete with amari, it’s fabulous and the staff are so friendly and helpful. during our recent visit in july, we booked 2 rooms for 8 nights and for all nights we were upgraded to the ocean tower rooms, trust me, if amari has rooms which are more superior they will upgrade you. the food is great at the essence restaurant. there is also a 5* restaurant called mantra which belongs to amari. it has a variety of good food. amari has two swimming pools which are clean and have a cozy feeling to them. if you stay in amari, you can book a room in the garden wing or the ocean tower, so if you prefer to stay in a room with a thai nature feeling then stay in the garden wing, but if you prefer a room with a sea view then stay at the ocean tower. there are other great hotels in pattaya, but amari is the best as shops are nearby, the beach is right outside, there are great cheap first class restaurants nearby which belong to the hotel. also, there are great places within the hotel for children such as an activities centre especially designed for children from the age of 2- 12. furthermore, there is a business centre with free internet access and they also have a free dvd rental system. this is truly a magnificent place and the only other hotel i can think of which can compete is burj al arab in dubai. i will be back at this paradise resort in december! Hotel Amber Pattaya (SHA Extra Plus)
Central Pattaya,Pattaya - View on map
"For a 4 star hotel you are not going to get anything better!!! A brand new hotel that is immaculate, gym, sauna, nice pool area and a great room. We had a Superior room with a queen bed that was so comfortable. Buffet breakfast was nice with plenty of options English, Thai and Indian. Location is perfect, on a quieter street set back a little but walk 2 mins up the street and you are right in mix for bars and everything Pattaya offers. Price point was fantastic value for money. You can not go wrong staying athe Hotel Amber."

Sunshine Hip Hotel (SHA Plus+)
North Pattaya,Pattaya - View on map
"Well, required quite some walking into the soi in order to reach this hotel, but never mind that for I drove. This will not be your typical open them windows and enjoy the sea breeze, nor the walk over onto white sand beach type of hotel. But rather a very economical worthwhile stay in rather trendy well furbished room. Large bathtubs some have, so ask for a room with one. There is a roof top pool that offered that soak to beat the heat in the afternoon. However, it was unattended, good being you can have the whole pool to yourself. Bad being, with no life guards, no one will save you if a strong gust of wind blows you over the sides and onto painful death below. Expect some thumbing bass late onto the night from the surrounding entertainment, this is staying in Pattaya where all the action is after all. It was a good stay for me during a business trip and absolutely worth it."

Hard Rock Hotel Pattaya (SHA Plus+)
Pattaya Beach Road,Pattaya - View on map
"I am a huge fan of the Hard Rock franchise and have visited many of the restaurants and hotels. The Hard Rock Hotel Pattaya was no disappointment. This hotel is an oasis in the middle of a dirty and shady city. Don't get me wrong, Thailand has a certain reputation in certain spots but Pattaya goes above and beyond! I have traveled the world and visited some shady spots including Iraq, but I have never felt like I had to watch my back like I did in Pattaya. The beach was filthy. Fortunately, the hotel is isolated from the rest of Pattaya. The pool is enormous and has a great swim up bar. They play organized water sports (volleyball, water polo, etc.) everyday at 1300 hours and everyone gets involved. On the weekend they have an incredible seafood buffet, in addition to the typical Hard Rock menu with some local specialties added. The rooms are very clean and so comfortable and have great views either over the pool and ocean or the city of Pattaya. The actual Hard Rock Cafe is outside the hotel's rear entrance across from the beach. They have live music every night and a good crowd. This hotel is worth mutiple visits, unfortunately, Pattaya is not unless you are a perverted old man who can't meet women on your own. If you are a fan of the Hard Rock brand, then this is a must visit! This hotel is expensive by Thai standards, but this should be expected and you do get what you pay for. Pattaya does have it's own charms, such as fantastic seafood and taking a stroll down Walking Street, but one visit was enough for me. "One of my favourite hotels in Pattaya. The pool area is the best I have ever seen, even it is a bit aged by now. However, I come here many times by now and plan come again next year. The rooms are ok and the staff is friendly. The location of the hotel is ideal for german customers. There are many restaurants nearby selling german style food. The rooms are clean and quiet."

More about Pattaya

Pattaya has been a favorite relaxation destination for tourists and locals for over 40 years. The city is centrally located close to the capital city, so it usually sees a large influx of partygoers during long weekends.

Although Pattaya is mostly associated with lazy days on the beach followed by nightclubs, the city has accommodations for a more diverse group of visitors. Hotels in Pattaya cater to everyone from retired westerners, business travelers, young honeymooners, and families. It's an unlikely mix, and only Pattaya could make it seem so effortless.

Families often head to the quieter Jomtien Beach, a crescent slice of sand brimming with water sports and beach facilities. It’s just far enough away from the central party scene, and the hotels in this area quiet down earlier in the evening. Many family-friendly activities are based in North Pattaya, featuring Buddhist temples, elephant and nature parks, and weekend markets.

The famous nightlife epicenter of Pattaya is Walking Street, a neon-heavy after-hours pedestrian strip that follows the waterfront.

While Pattaya is widely known as Thailand's party destination, it's becoming an increasingly diverse place to vacation, with the city emphasizing the other quiet beaches and golf courses as alternatives to the bright lights.

There’s much more to see and learn about Pattaya, and the interactive map on this page is a great way to find out where the attractions and hotels can be found in this exciting city.
