"I have to say the hotel exceeded my expectation for my first trip in Russia, especially compared with my stay in Moscow and St. Petersburg. You have to bargain with taxi driver in Russia. As I would arrive at 11pm by train and I don't want to wait or negotiate in the cold wind, I contacted the hotel to arrange pickup. The driver is waiting at my coach when I arrived, quickly and safely I got to the hotel. To my surprise, it is free. The next day I have to wait until 10pm for the train. After returning from half day trip to Kizhi island, I am cold and a bit wet. The staff is so helpful that they allow me to use the shower of the gym though I have already checkout in the morning. Last but not least, I had one delicious dinner of local Russian food in their restaurant. "

"It is a very nice hotel, It's not big enough but very cosy and looks like a real castle. It's located 10 metres from the lake with a private area for a barbecue, a glass of beer or wharever and a nice view on the lake. Nice staff, nice restaurant, very nice rooms."

"The hotel is in a prime location on the banks of Lake Onega. Close to the promenade and town center. Standard rooms are small but clean. Good restaurant with a beautiful view, but very expensive. Breakfast is included in the room price is just amazing. Diverse and high-quality food. Staff friendly and always willing to help. SPA center is not able to visit in the free hours. Too limited, the center operates in a free mode - only from 7 to 9 am. Overall hotel is somewhat overrated, but still very good."
