"What a unique and special experience! Pico is such a beautiful medieval village, the type that you can't imagine still exists. From the moment that we met Carlo, we felt comfortable and at ease. He provided such a personal touch to everything that we truly felt special. We spent 2 weeks on our honeymoon in Italy, with one night in Nena al Borgo, and we can very easily say that Carlo's home-cooked meal was the best food we had on the entire trip in the whole of Italy! The ingredients were fresh, the flavours were simple and delicious (and most of all, it was healthy!). Carlo's own home-made olive oil was also light and refreshing, as was his home-made granita. We still reminisce over this meal! The rooms were spacious, and the night that we stayed there was actually the best sleep I had on the whole trip too! Super comfortable bedding! The decor of the entire hotel was unique and gorgeous, you can instantly tell of Carlo's attention to detail in maintaining the original character and history of the house. I HIGHLY recommend staying here, and we only wish that we could have stayed longer!"
