Staff was so kind and helpful! They were in communication to help me check in when I arrived on a late bus, and gave good recommendations about the city. Dorm facilities are nice and comfortable; bathrooms extremely clean. Best kitchen facilities I’ve ever had. Recommend you give this city more than a day or two, it’s a great place to relax.

great location just outside the old town. Room was much better than expected, small but very cosy, comfortable beds, nice little balcony and air con works well. only small thing - it really is hidden. the "reception" is in the shop next door.

Impossible to sleep due the street lamp in front the window. Too much small bed for two people. The best is the cat that walks around the rooms.

We had a wonderful stay at Guest House Old Plovdiv. The ladies at the reception have been very helpful and friendly. In our 8 nights in 4 hotels in Bulgaria, Old Plovdiv is the best guesthouse and it's value for money. Will love to stay there again.

Excellent location

Staff were super polite and helpful, made it a very pleasant stay. I'd recommend it to anyone. Location is great very close to touristy things and many cafes. Two minutes walk to the main shopping street. If I had to nitpick, the room photos clearly show a bath and there isn't one.

Hotel room rate is reasonable and the hotel sign is not lighted up, took a few rounds driving at night to find this hotel. Room is spacious and breakfast is decent.

Enjoyable

Can I say I want to live here forever? It's almost perfect in every aspect. The decoration is amazing. Great for couples. Price is already super good to me, but compared to the local price level (everything's half the price as in Germany), you may be able to find some cheaper but equally good ones.
