Where to stay in Positano
Positano hotels & accommodations

Rooms were quite nice, with magnificent view from balcony. Antonino (Tony) at reception was super friendly and helpful, meeting any and all requests. A very friendly and accommodating place, highly recommended. The only downside is the 500 steps to climb back up from the beach but that's the case for the majority of the hotels in Positano.

Upon arrival the hotel didn’t seem much - you are dropped off at a lay-by just outside of Positano but don’t let that put you off! Everything about this hotel is stunning.. each room has a balcony with sea view, every member of staff could not be more helpful! They remember the tiniest things about you e.g the first night I said I was gluten free - when I turned up to ...

We have just completed a week stay at this lovely hotel in positano - before arriving I was a little apprehensive about the number of steps that you have to climb to get up to the hotel - 107 steps is quite a lot but if you take your time it is not too bad but in the heat can be a little difficult - the porters who work at the hotel are absolutely fantastic and thankfu...

Perfect hotel For our stay in positano. The hotel room was very nice. Breakfast was great! My wife works in the hotel industry, we have stayed in some amazing propertys Around the world. The most important thing to us is cleanliness and service. They get a 5 out of 5 in those two areas. The family that owns the property clearly puts thier heart and soul into it. ...

As a hotel it was pretty good, the main problem was the distance from the main tourist areas of Positano, i.e. the beach and restaurants/shopping areas down near the beach. The breakfast at the hotel was quite good, the rooms were good and the shower was good too. The hotel has an odd layout and we had to follow a winding path down and up stairs to our room from the li...

All of room and facility were clean and comfortable. And all of staff were kindly for us. Most of all, we could see good ocean and city view in the balcony. I feel great vacation in this hotel. There is a shuttle bus every hour, so, we can go to the beach using this one easily. Breakfast also clean and good. I think this hotel is best of the positano in my memories.

My wife and I just finished 5 nights at the hotel. We had visited 10 years ago and it is still a perfect hotel. There are more luxurious hotels in Positano, but Villa Gabrisa has a great location (high on the hill), great rooms with views, a wonderful staff, and a very good restaurant! With a welcome drink, clean facilities, wi-fi, and a staff that speaks English, i...

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary and the kind owners of the villa upgraded our room to a suite. Its a family business run very well!! Breakfast was amazing as hot food and beverages were prepared on the fly and bakery items were made at home, so no stale food guaranteed. Villa was as neat as a new pin. The location of the villa is also apt for tourists ...

Peppe is a super nice guy! we had a great time here, did enjoy the beach and sun. food here is not that good yet expensive. dont get to the wrong direction to the hotel (dont trust the google map). there are 421 stairs from the beach, which will become a nightmare if you carry the heavy luggage. hire a poster to carry the luggage for you. beach and view here is so nice...

I loved this hotel!! Spent 2 weeks on the Amalfi coast and this was my favorite hotel! It is up on the hillside and has a wonderful view. 10 minute walking, all steps, to the city center, or right next to the local bus line. Even though there were steps, I never ended up taking the bus because the view was so beautiful. Can not avoid steps in positano, so this is har...

this villa is not a hotel, it is a fabulous place to stay for a few days, enjoying one of the best view of positano cost. The staff is wonferfull, the swimming pool is almost private, cause there is not a lot of people (7rooms only), and the place is quiet. By walk, you go to restaurant and the beach in 5-10 minutes. You can rent motorcycle near by the villa, so you ca...

The villa offers one of the most fantastic views in the whole world. Beatrice, the woman who takes care of the villa is incredibly kind and brings live and good mood in the house. Th place is clean and well arranged. It is a few kilometers from Positano, which is normally considered a downside but i absolutely loved it. It's quiet and nice. everything was perfect

Positano is lovely already but this place is wonderful and lovely to stay. The staff are all nice and the location is very good. If you take your car, there is a valet parking service with certain daily fee. As parking and driving is not so easy in Positano, it was an wonderful service too. We stayed without the ocean view but it was still nice to stay as this hotel is...

Our room had a nice view and breakfast is brought to your room. It was quiet and peaceful. It is high up on the hill so you need a luggage porter when you arrive. It does take quite a long time to walk up and down the steps which is the only way to get around in Positano. We enjoyed our stay.

the hotel has a great location along the main road of amalfi coast. its very easy to find the hotel, it has parking without additional charge! the hotel staff is very kind, helpfull and pleasent. the breakfast is modest and doesnt have a big variety in it comparing other hotels in italy. the room is quiet and comfortable with a great view to the sea.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The room, is clean, the bed really comfortable. There's 2 arm chairs in the room as well. The bathroom was a little small but manageable. The terrace area is lovely with a great view. Breakfast was served their each morning. Our hosts were lovely and kind. Thd location is great, the walk to and from the beach is easy one. Run by an awesome family who were always courteous and helpful, whether organizing tours, providing breakfast or just advising where to go. Great location about 15 mins walk down to the beach and 15 mins up to the bus stop to amalfi coast, plus in the middle of awesome restaurants. Older hotel but service and location make up for it.

This was my most favourite place in Italy. The staff were brilliant, very friendly and happy to give advice about where to go and places to see on the Amalfi Coast. The village of Nocelle where the B+B is located is absolutely beautiful. The locals were all very friendly, the lovely pathways were lovingly swept clean everyday and the fact that there were no cars or bik...

The apartment was very comfortable and really felt like home, though getting in and out of the apartment was a hassle. Walking distance to the town areas, and the buses were nearby the apartment. Had such a fantastic stay here and the staff were really helpful throughout our 4 days. Highly recommended!
